  1. Good question, I had a spare R32 GTR diff rebuilt and tightened and put into my 34, I took car out Friday in RWD due to sensor issue and full noise in 2nd at 19psi ( was going to try 22psi but thought better of it ) it hooked up and took off with no wheel spin, on 275/35/19 Hankook RS-3s It use to fry one back tyre till the 4WD kicked in then take off, has LSD up front
  2. I have had to do this before, PITA Jaycar And you get just the bulb, have to reuse the holder Or genuine
  3. I have what you listed except turbos, still stock, yeah 3 wheels would be a better way of saying it, true machanical LSD rear with open front, heavy rear sway bar helps front traction in straight line so mine will spin all four if launched to hard
  4. The RS-3s on my 34 impressed me Friday, car was in RWD due to sensor issue and had to do some running around in it, on a nice back road I gave it some beans and in 2nd gear with 19psi they hooked up and got on with there business without so much as a squeal I personally think the AD08s on my 32 are a better tyre then the RS-3s, only just, but for the money difference the RS-3s are the way to go I got mine off EBay from a shop in the Central Coast for $999 for the set in 275/35/19
  5. Yeah basically, for some reason when a LSD is put up front the rear A-LSD stops working, very strange but that seems the case R33/34 non V-Spec diff and CVs is best way to do it, try to find a diff that has the sensors already attached and the closest to your model as possible so the plug is the same, for a R34 you could most likely use a GT-t diff if your are going to change the center anyway and reuse your gears
  6. Depends on the car and what you consider "slightly modified" My 32 would be considered slightly modified with simple bolt ons and with Toyo TQ drag radials I got a bit carried away with launch rpm and spun all 4 and nearly ran over the Christmas tree
  7. Also the bolt thread are in the A-LSD half shafts where the non are in the CV Most people would just put the diff in with the sensors that came with it so it probably hasn't been an issue yet Yeah my A-LSD stopped working once I put the LSD up front, which I found out at SMSP-S last year
  8. Disconnect the sensors to confirm its them, disconnected you should have three lights on dash, ABS - 4WD - A-LSD and the 4WD shouldn't be working at all The plug is at the back on top of the subframe, 4 pin plug with the lines from plug to sensors in a two by two formation I still don't understand why your system is running constantly even with car off
  9. The wait just gives the tyres time to get ready And your opponents a much needed head start
  10. Ok so the sensors came in today and it works perfectly The issue I found is the A-LSD ABS sensor locator mounts vertically where the non A-LSD locator mounts horizontally which means it turns the sensor 90deg meaning the pick up in the sensor would be reading two teeth at a time and the tooth wheel is running sideways across the sensor You will need to get the non V-Spec sensors, I ordered the R34 GT-t sensors
  11. Try disconnecting the rear ABS sensors Yeah, just had my spare 32 diff rebuilt/tightened and I fitted it last weekend, I didn't even bother putting the ABS sensors in as I could see they wouldn't work properly and the 32 ones are completely different
  12. We tried heap of different settings and where it is is the best overall, there was no point where any adv/retard would improve what it currently is 20 deg either way at any point would be a massive step back
  13. Lobe Center Angle, so 11deg adv on in and 9 deg retard on exhaust, then tune, will change what you think about VCT Im fairly certain its a 20deg change Edit, Beatin to it again
  14. Have you played with the cam timing on the 32 ? I see in your sig your 33 has a fair few bolt ons, what does the 32 have ? I guess its your 32 that has 271kw ( if written respectively) plus the 32 GTR is 40kg heavier then the 33 GTS-t and there's fark all difference , try getting the LCAs of the 32 cams to 110-108deg and see if there is still fark all difference
  15. Thats nice, but that VCT on v VCT off, how about 25 with VCT v 26 with correctly dialed in cams ?
  16. I read a lot of jibba jabba about how good the RB25 VCT is against the RB26 but an yet to see any proof to back up these claims
  17. R33 GTR half cut and a RB30 sump, transfer every thing across including ECU and Brembos, this will make 350rwkw no probe with 15psi Sell RB25 to offset price and will have a better aftermarket support base
  18. Can you take a pic for me, I think I know what it is, I found it when I did mine last weekend and had to order new sensors Just waiting for them to get here to confirm
  19. Single plate - replace Twin plate - rebuild
  20. No, no it's not, both time I have put it down was doing less then 15kmh The first one was at walked pace stopping in a gravel car park on the side of Putty Rd for a pee
  21. I very doubtful I could do that corse on my bike Good going, nice spot on that stupid BMW driver
  22. It is a lot less then an ideal tune and as long as you aren't racing it you could drive around on it indefinitely, but then what's the point in fitting it in the first place, you would be better off with the stock ECU
  23. A base map is so you can drive it onto a dyno and tune it properly It is also possible to reset a second hand PFC back to a clean base map
  24. What was the economy before you put 33"s on it And did you correct the speedo, if not how many kms are you actually doing
