  1. Me ?, R34 GTR, I got the Z221s cheap ( $1500 for the set ) and its a street car first that goes to the track for some happy fun time power sliding That's why is was considering 10.5 so I can go to 285s later if need be, the 4WD means good 265s should be plenty for what I do with it What's funny for me is the 265/35/18 Z221s are wider then the 275/35/19 Z222s I have
  2. I've got the AD08s in 265/35/18 and think they are amazing, better then the RS-3s I have and if they Rs are better again that is what I'll be getting next, would mind keepingg us informed of how they go I have a set of 265/45/18 Hankook Z221s in 265/35/18 I need to get rims for and can't decide if I get 9.5 or 10.5 ( the rims I want only come in either of those ) if any has experience with this size of these what size rims do you have them on what size do you think they should be on
  3. Do you happen to have any specs on these things, that site has them for sale for $4500us but I'm doubtful they make the whole turbo so pricing them together or making something similar shouldn't be to hard IF you can find specs for them There is a dyno result on here for the PE1420tr twins that made 305kw at 15.5psi but no graph
  4. Twin SC14 S/Cs on a 2630 would be great fun
  5. Ooh hello, might be worth waiting for that, some more info on them will need to be found
  6. We have looked into this in depth and the most sensible cost effective option is the OS88 6 speed sequential, there is a small group of us looking into a group buy later this year or early next
  7. Oh that is in NZ bro, hence the Ferraro in the back ground and not a Pathfinder, choice A lol
  8. Artz, maaaate, you are the man and on an RB20 no less ( waits for ROY to come in ) Olsen twins shoe horned into an engine bay is something I would pay money to see
  9. Yeah, the excess air can not get out the wastegate so it has no choice but to exit through the turbine increasing boost
  10. If your happy enough with the quad plate, leave it, they are only deadly to boxes if dropped from floor boards at full noise, but if you get a quad to slip under power you may as well pack up and go home
  11. Ooh, triple TD04s, can someone photoshop that
  12. These boxes are pretty strong but no box will take abuse for long with this sort of torque, that said as long as you don't go slamming it throw gears ( especially at high rpm ) and don't drop the clutch for the floor boards it will hold for a while Edit: and run the right oil, PM me about that Really comes down to how you drive it, a bit of machanical sympathy goes a long way I have a triple plate in mine at the moment and other then the rattle its not that bad but I always load the driveline before giving it the sauce, a good twin plate would be nicer on the box and to drive, what Paully suggested or an Exedy Hi-Torque twin would be good The Nismo 2-way is the tits, just look into a Quaife ATB LSD for the front
  13. Make sure you are looking up the Getrag box and not the Nissan 5 speeder, the 6 speed R34s have the Getrag box
  14. Fark, I didn't think there was that much difference
  15. Their to "long" and would need to be machined then redrilled and taped, but an idea all the same and something to look into for sure
  16. You would be surprised at how responsive that setup would be on a dirty 30 and any way the 32 is about response the 34 want powah
  17. That doesn't look all that laggy given twin GT30 rears on a 3.0, give me hope of a good result if I go that way
  18. Kando have a billet Kinugawa TD05H-18G that would be close enough to Liths idea, same exhaust wheel and housing and a Billet 68mm comp wheel, just not the HTA gear, which I would consider one step up from where I am now
  19. I did think about them cause they are a good piece of gear but with what exhaust side, Owen Developments do one boltin for the RB26 but it is still the same rear wheel as I have now which isn't big enough Would be good in your -5s though Brett's idea is would be even better for you though me thinks and the idea of this thread, bitsa turbos in twin form, engine doesnt really matter just throw together turbos you have done or have thought about doing
  20. I went 86.5mm and half HardBloc filled the water jackets, its really a lotto as to if it will hold up or not but if it splits then another RB30 is cheap enough
  21. That is an interesting idea, that Hawkins dude put -7 comp housings on to -5s and got decent results with it and with the Billet wheel should be even better That's more an idea then something that will actually happen, but if it was possible/managed to do it would easy pass 500kw, I have got 458kw with the GT2871Rs ( HKS GT-RSs ) and got boost limited due to the rear wheels choking it at over 28psi My idea is Kando T25-GT30 rear housing to bolt in to the factory location on the standard manifolds and use the GT-RSs front housings to keep the engine bay as stock looking as possible I actually looked that up, the 3037s are GT3076Rs and are to much comp wheel for what I'm after and also very unlikely to fit the factory location 500kws at the wheels is the idea, but why would that crack my block, can the RB30s not take that much power
  22. Ok so after so shits and giggles I have been looking at turbos to replace the ones on my cars For the R32 I'm looking at twin Kinugawa Billet TD04H-19Ts, should give same response with more top end Chance of working 95% For the R34 I'm looking at either Kinugawa Billet TD06L2S-20Gs or Garret GTX3071rs with the front housing off my HKS GT-RSs and some Kando T25 GT30 rear housings, should give good response and quench the RB30s thrust for air Chance of working 80% This thread is about odd twin turbo setups, if you have some post em and why and an estimated chance of working like you want them to
  23. Lol, Oh hang on, how did get that wrong Gotta stop posting so early
  24. Q, my computer is able to run AFMs and map pre and post throttle bodies at the same time, would there be enough advantage from this to warrant setting it up ? Aswell a seperate MAP sensor for barometric pressure ?
  25. I think Paul was referring to the 4dr dude about blocking the BOV MAP wouldn't care what you do prior to throttle body as it works off pressure not flow
