That had me for a sec, you mean NO2 yeah What's wrong with stock turbos and going fast ?
-
I'm more leaning towards the Kinugawa billet twin TD06L2S-20g kit as they are a bolt on option so less mucking around trying to get em to fit
-
I was looking at the 3071 cause of the front housing I have on the GT-RSs is already for a 71mm comp wheel so fitting it should be fairly simple, just figuring out the rears What comp housing would I use for the 67 to direct fit the GTR ?

Nice cut and post but I already know about them So in the same sentence they say they are the same dimensions as stock but can flow nearly twice the amount of air Just saying they are both 65mm AFMs so IF air flow is a restriction then replacing it with another 65mm AFM isn't really going to help you, if its tuning resolution that is restricting and NOT flow then sure go for the Nismos, they only twice the price as Z32s and flow less Edit: and with less tuning resolution -
Nah, twin GT-RSsHow good is Scott as a tuner I am looking into an upgrade ATM and one of the crazy ideas I'm having is twin 3071s using the GT-RS from cover, just sorting out the rears, Kando have a T25 GT30 rear housing for a 90 trim so its a matter of seeing if it can be machined to fit and made to go into the factory location that's how I roll

The standard AFM and the Nismo are the same dimensions so if the restriction is flow the Nismos won't help you, you will need Z32s -
Def stock, the plugs are stock not Z32s Get the APexi Z32 AFM filter kit, makes life soooooo much easier when fitting them http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/360406064416?nav=SEARCH

Yeah shame, surprised some one has picked em up and run with em A V4 with these things would be awesome
-
Yeah, Honda NR500

The other thing to look at is -5s on a 2.6 will come on later in the rev range so the motor will disapate the boost better meaning you can get away with a higher CR, also what cams are you planning on cause same goes there, the bigger duration the higher CR you can use Round ones LOL!!! These ones

There is, well not so much before and after more just different setups and their result in the Forced Performance Thread home page at the top there are dyno result threads http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/104332-rb30-hybrid-upgrade-all-dyno-results/ http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/93880-rb26-turbo-upgrade-all-dyno-results/ This are the two most relevant for you -

Just an ethanol sensor hooked up to the ECU and tune will do it -

In my one I did very little to the head, clean and remove any rough edges that can cause turbulence and fit a set of BC springs, the stock head will flow 450kw without much drama -
Can that question be asked directly to Adaptronic via email ? Straight from the horses mouth so to speak

I own both a well sorted 2.6 and a well sorted 3.0 ( motor wise anyway, the suspension still needs work ) and both are much of a muchness for response and the 3.0 kicks the shit out of the 2.6 and defecates on its remains If that makes me egotistical then so be it, personally I'm quiet proud of what I've achieved given my childhood -

My 32 still is a 2.6 Yep mate, I'm the one making a fool of my self -

Why's that, I drive both mine on when ever I like and both would be perfectly fine doing daily duties and the 32 did so for many years, but cause I can afford more then one car I shouldn't give advise cause it makes me some dumb fark hanging around forum yeah And I do all the machanical work my self and I chose what parts I use, the only thing I don't do is tune, when ya have someone like Scott why would I want to learn to Oh and hello SteveO -

We don't have to, we have more then one car We do however know what insane power feels like and with unbelievable response cause welovefastcars What's logic got to do with building GTRs -

Have you ?, what does it matter, he knows his car and he knows what more he wants from it That's how I am, if someone asks a question I help if I can from what I have experienced over the years no matter what thread it's in in stead of giving them shit for posting in a thread that isn't exactly what was asked to start with causing ill feeling towards other forum users and making them wonder why they came here in the first place -

Peter, yeah mate cruising around its really nice, just the fuel pump is killing my life ATM, like I said boost is throttle dependent and at 110 car sits around 2600 rpm and at light throttle it sits around 2-4psi positive pressure, I'm on full E85 tune though and havent done any economy runs yet, still loving the way it comes onto boost HARD -

XKLABA replied to Antimatter's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
What you do to any motor to make it more responsive works on all of them, it just the power level that changes with capacity, so what you do to a 2.6 will work the same for a 3.2, you will just make more power with a 3.2 then a 2.6 with the same response EDIT: except for turbos obviously And response is relative to power level so if you want to make your 2.6 responsive give us an idea of power wanted and we can try and guide you to make it as responsive as possible, but for the sake of this discussion you CAN NOT beat a stock turbo stock cam 2.6 with the right breathing mods and dialed in cams and properly tuned if response is what you are after This has been discussed and is quiet well known what works and what doesn't but if your that worried about running away with threads then this shouldn't have been started in the first place and the OP should have looked at the 2.6 dyno thread for his answer But you will never ever get stock turbos to push 400kw at the wheels, but a 6262 on a 3.2 will do 400kws at the wheel with the same response as a stock turbo stock cam 2.6 If have a question or an idea for someone that has asked a question then by all means post if not stop spreading the hate and go look at one of the other zillion thread on this forum
