gotta do a small run in stint keeping it under control. Need to sort out some glitches, but will post a dyno run after its tuned properly

My rb31det is now running Gotta sort out 1 or two minor glitches before i go to far....but i never expected it to be smooth sailing. Off boost torque is PHENOMENAL by the way

gotta sort out some of the bugs....darn things always pop up. Speedo not workin, and gerbox deciding to make some noises.....and a noise from the engine bay has to be tracked down.....nothing serious, just need to be sorted before i go far

Car is now running and on the run in tune Have to do the boring old 1000 k run in and sort out some of the little bits and pieces that need cleaning up..... Boost is non existent at the moment...have to control the positive pressure with the foot...ie no more than a squueze or its spooling the turbo almost instant....well maybe im just too excited Watching the Knock read out it never went over 30 ish...not too bad i believe. Need bigger wiring coming off the battery as well....not enough juice for the starter motor to crank it over sometimes. The off boost torque is excellent feels like an animal that wants to go....Exhaust is a nice deep rumble as well EDIT/ a BIG thanks to Shaun at Boost Worx for all his TOP QUALITY work...and putting up with my car...lol

i should re phrase it a little. Most of the ones who dribble are on P plates, and regardless of what they choose to spend on their car the skyline is a better car to start with. Not that im trying to start a "skyline vs silvia" thing. I agree its their attitudes as well. 4's are boat anchors, 8's are for towing, 6's are for performance

acts as a restriction i heard, due to the gasses bumping around in there before they find their way out the cat.....as well as increasing sound. You can gut it, but then weld a straight through pipe down though the centre to get the best effect

Howdy, ive got the pipework off a cooler kit for sale. The core was 600x300x76, and this pipework was made to suit that core on a r32 gtst Shown in the first pic is the actual pipes. Due to the kit being bought interstate (Micks Metalcraft) they supplied me with a spare pipe (same as one shown in second photo) It is slightly longer incase the other was too short. Due to my Rb31det being a taller engine, i needed new pipework made fo the core. So i have 1 in pipe, and 2 out pipes (one longer than the other - the u shaped pipe in the first pic) Looking for $150 ono for all 3 pipes Buyer pays postage edit/ this doesnt include the top return pipe. You need to get one made to go from the drivers inner wheel arch to either the j pipe, or the throttle body (Gibson GTR style)
