  1. First ride was in a r32 gtst with modified comp from Japan...First couple of croners didnt give it any, then my mate said to me (with the owner in the car as well ) give it some stick at the next straight in second.... I swear it was like the closest thing to riding my 2 stroke 250 RZ Yamaha road bike power wise...It just got up and went Power all over once the turbs kicked in Exact same as the bike, except the bike revved to 12k rpm (power band kicked in at 6k rpm)
  2. no their not.
  3. Sif im goin out in the cold again tonight... I'll check the head numbers again tomorrow to be sure, but my cars not here to check the month...
  4. I need mine done as well...good timing Clint I understand there is different types of ceramic coating? Or are they all the same???
  5. yer just checked.... 73L 3 = RB20DET head
  6. yer, so go the Bathurst design of pipework with the 120 degree bend or use a front facing plenum if you want it to clear all together...not just rub the heat liner The r32 i saw with thr rb30det had the stock intercooler pipe work route (might have been slightly larger dia. pipes because of a bigger turb) but it still rubs on the liner of the bonnet
  7. so your all arguing over 4.2mm?? :bahaha: Well i think Shaun said he got 12 mm one side and 15 mm on the other side to sit the engine as low as he thought it would be ok. This is with only redrilling the holes in the bracket. I dont know for sure if the bonnet closes, but he didn't say if it did, so id assume it did The ic pipe where it comes up into the engine bay, back from the inner guard, hit the bonnet at the 90 deg. bend to the right....just before it goes into the stock bov pipe. I have seen the bonnet closed on a r32 with only the mounts being re drilled. Also near the tb if i remember....too many bourbons Id say you people have to lower the rubber mounts that are in the car (they do go up and down a few mm...but you are arguing over 4.2mm :bahaha:), then redrill the holes on the bracket where it bolts to the engine to get it in the r32. Make sense??
  8. Rips make a custom front facing plenum for whatever engine you have. Keeps all factory sensors unlike the Sub Zero, or Greddy plenum. His email is [email protected] and his name is Rob. The pic shows the Rb20det version. You get it in a kit form, in the colour of your choice for $1500NZ (Roughly $1350 AUD) Comes with modified throttle body, throttle cable, water pipe kit, all fittings for brake booster, map sensor, boost guage etc.... Great buy in my mind.....thats why im getting one

  19. i think with the rb30det power to weight never comes into it It ALL power oh yer oil cooler core is roughly 300 x 140 x 50, dunno if its alloy though...feels light enough. I might buy a new core if its not what i need though...
