  1. Looks like the Hybrid performance low mount manifold: http://www.skylinesa...ost__p__6542665 EDIT: couldnt see the seller, it is the same lol. Can't speak from personal experience, but Hybrid have a pretty good rep and there supposed to be a good quality manifold
  2. I'd say Nissan came up with the graphic design, hope they change their mind but.
  3. I didnt think fuel economy was that much worse. I thought it was around 20-30% worse?
  4. sit in your car on a sunny day (even in winter) with the air con off and windows up. How quick does it become to warm? Compare this to night time on the same day See my point, it does make a difference. And yes only in Auto, would work in conjunction with the interior temp sensor.
  5. If its the sunlight sensor it senses the sun (obviously ) and then adjusts fan speed to compensate
  6. if you bought the car and it was running 14psi and you cant hear any detonation etc then I guess it will be O.K I wouldnt wind the boost up put it that way. Remove the passenger kick panel and see if it has an aftermarket ECU or piggyback. Sounds like it must have something to be able to hit those boost levels. See what you can find
  7. 2 people have said dont do it. So do you want advice or do you just want someone to tell you that it will be fine and you should do it? Here is your answer, 2 seconds of searching would have found the answer for you: RB20 - 2.0 L (1998 cc, bore: 78.0 mm, stroke: 69.7 mm) RB24 - 2.4 L (2428 cc, bore: 86.0 mm, stroke: 69.7 mm) RB25 - 2.5 L (2498 cc, bore: 86.0 mm, stroke: 71.7 mm) RB26 - 2.6 L (2568 cc, bore: 86.0 mm, stroke: 73.7 mm) RB30 - 3.0 L (2962 cc, bore: 86.0 mm, stroke: 85.0 mm)
  8. remote* you dont NEED it, the oil cooler kit should work to retain the oil filter in the stock location
  9. Why? just use the 26 complete putting the 20 head on sounds like more drama then its worth, and I dont recall ever hearing it being done so it cant be to easy
  10. Standard ECU? That will be your issue, I'm suprised you managed to run 14psi through a bigger turbo on the stock ECU and it works. I dont understand what a T04e stage 3 turbo is...... has it been worked to flow more? Either way a T04 is much bigger then stock so I would probably stick it on a dyno to check AFR's or wind the boost down to be safe or get an aftermarket ECU and push it
  11. any fabrication shop should be able to tig a fitting in there to plug your recirc pipe into, shouldnt cost to much
  12. They don't have projector headlights
  13. Stock ECU - No Aftermarket ECU - Yes but will require a retune, I'm not to sure that some will 100% cure it Aftermarket ECU with Map Sensor - Yes
  14. Sunlight sensor for climate control? Plug for the antenna (built into the front windscreen from memory)? Why cant you upload a pic?
  15. This is what I went with: http://www.helcarkits.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=205&products_id=957 Supposed to be here on friday so will see how it looks. But has all the right stuff - thermostat, braided lines, all fittings and 19 row cooler $460AUD delivered I think it was so pretty good price
  16. Lol damn. The RB30 in my old VL, was O.K but it had a slightly bigger cam and has been rebuilt. Think the VL calais were slightly lighter, but roughly the same weight anyway, I could just keep up with SV6 commodores
  17. What the hell? They obviously come with Ballasts. They are pictured with the Ballasts and it says each kit comes with a Ballast. Only some GTR's came with Xenons and they should have been removed for compliance. And I just said I have this kit IN MY HIGH BEAM's. I have 35w in my low beam This is why I'm suggesting this kit, I have a cheap kit in my low beams and the more expensive kit as linked is much better. You wanted advice and I gave it. If you want to do a Xenon conversion this kit is good
  18. United should do it, would be alot more people going there then I think
  19. I have 2 different Kits, these ones are in my High beams and start 2-3 times faster then the cheap kit I put in my low beams http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/4300K-55w-Rapid-Start-Slim-Digital-HID-Kit-OEM-White-XE-Instant-On-Ballast-Fast-/400289523261?pt=Apparel_Merchandise&var=&hash=item5d331d663d
  20. Yeah I've seen photos of them, but didn't know there were any in Aus, thought they were only a NZ thing. Must be horribly slow in an R33 lol
  21. E85 is higher octane rated, burns slightly cooler and u can bump a bit more timing into the tune (From memory these are the perks) down side is it isnt as economical, but it should be cheaper
  22. Just had a thought now driving past Caltex Nebo road. They are ripping everything out of the ground there. Are they bringing E85 here? Or did they have a cracked tank etc and are just doing boring maintenance?
  23. Quoted for sexy RX7-ness That is F-ing cool
  24. Semi interested in the Power FC. Is there any changes in the new versions of the Power FC's? was it ever fitted? Did tuning software communicate alright with it?
