  1. Roger that
  2. Ahh let him have one more win. He will miss those at Mercedes
  3. Anyone able to shed some light on this? Having an issue with my new power FC looking as though it is cutting to the idle map during gear changes and then taking 2 secs or so to realise I'm at WOT. Red Circle is a gear change where it looks like its going back to closed loop idle map then jumps up to normal timing. Blue Circle is normal, no timing drop and doing what it should be doing White Circle is another gear change where it is dropping timing then jumping up Thought it was worth a try in here as well. TPS is at 0.45v closed and 4.15v at WOT
  4. Ok here is a graphical demonstration of what Mine is up to Apologies if I'm Hijacking now but maybe the issue is similar to what others are having or may help Red Circle is a gear change where it looks like its going back to closed loop idle map then jumps up to normal timing. Blue Circle is normal, no timing drop and doing what it should be doing White Circle is another gear change where it is dropping timing then jumping up Any ideas from the guru's here? TPS was re-set yesturday at 0.45v closed and 4.15v at WOT Have put the idle and decel cut right down and doesnt seem to make any difference. Next step will be to up the TPS some more but I will get to a point where it just wont go into the idle map which will be just as bad
  5. Party and free Accom at Phils sounds like way more fun haha I can honestly say I'm never dealing with HEL again, to top off the issues I had one a damaged cooler and wrong sandwich plate, I thought I'd muck around with it the other day, and they have sent me the wrong fittings for the cooler. Screw in about 2 turns then go tight and are different compared to the blanking plugs thread that have come out of them. Cannot believe they can get it so wrong
  6. Ah thats right I remember seeing the 2 map sensors when I looked at the instructions for my boost control kit. Is the point of having two purely because there are usually 2 MAF Sensors or is one for boost control and one for calculating load? This is probably in your FAQ, I'll have a look Someone link me to the ecr33 d-jetro? I can't find it on the site anymore
  7. yeah I'm not seeing that low, 18-20 degrees then jumps up around 30
  8. I used to watch them all but now work gets in the way. Usually spending Monday and tuesday running away from radio's when the news is on and banning myself from Facebook because thats ruined it for me before lol
  9. Mine is still 10 degree's retarded at lower RPM, seems to occur on low rev gear changes. Bit strange as its above the fuel cut (decel) revs so not sure what causes the Power FC to cut timing at this point. Perhaps its something that has been picked up going from an older Power FC to a brand new one. Not to sure, but maybe one of the guru's here can shed some light
  10. realized that halfway through that that was probably the reason
  11. LOL I've never seen the mechanic punch the wall in that video Poor guy, Family look devo lol
  12. eh Wish they could find a better driver for that seat Piss him off for Kubica when he is at full health
  13. why are you writing them down? just save your old map, do data init and then reload the map and do the idle learn. Or do you not have FC Edit + an interface? as for the idle settings, they are really car dependant, I just noticed mine improved alot when I raised the decel cut from about 1100 to 1300, it returned to idle alot nicer. This may be part of my problem now but I will experiment with it later on. The new Power FC is alot quicker to respond and is much quicker to input/read data so I'm pretty happy with it at the moment
  14. Its noticeable now, not sure if it was doing it on the old one, but seemed alot smoother. Jumps from 18-20 Degrees to 30 degrees. Have adjusted my TPS to .45v closed throttle - 4.15 open throttle and seems to have improved it. I have the Decel cut at 1300rpm which might have something to do with it as well, so might try lowering this later and see if it makes a difference.
  15. *sigh* You cant argue that Vettel winning the championship is Grosjean's fault It is what it is, could very well have been someone else in there that crashed fernando off in 3 races instead of one. Then would you no longer blame Grosjean? Honestly what is the point of arguing it now, the FIA aren't reading this and going "hmm he has a good point, lets give Alonso 20 bonus points" Its Racing, its been for the most part a good year And I'm willing to bed that if Alonso takes the WDC at Brazil, all the years dramas will be absolved. And if Vettel wins, life will be all F#$!@$ up and the championship is rigged and Grosjean is the devil. As far as I'm concerned if your run into by someone at the start of a race, thats unlucky, but semi expected. If your car fails on lap 50 then thats unlucky and most of the time unexpected. I'm not going to blame Alonso for being in the wrong place at the wrong time at all because your expected to fight to gain places and not be conservative. But I don't see it as being any more unlucky then having your car fail. Look back at Kimi in the MP4-20. Absoloutly should have won the WDC, but McLaren built a $hit car and Alonso beat him to it. As long as Formula 1 exists, these things are going to happen F#@!$!@# I got sucked into this. Brazil, Rain, WDC on the line, Hamilton with nothing to lose going for a win, couple of new cars/drivers showing front running pace Set for a fantastic final race
  16. I'm having a similar issue by the looks of it. take off from low revs and can watch the timing jump 10 degrees and as it does this I can feel it come alive and it pulls away. Feels doughy down low but because of this. Same tune as my old power FC so not sure why its an issue with the brand new one I have now Might play with my TPS, think its at 0.44v at closed throttle
  17. I thought the 26 d-jetro's only had one map sensor anyway. There is no need to moniter the manifold pressure with 2 pressure sensors....
  18. Has hyd lifters etc and doesn't appear to be a NEO head. Was yours done with spark plug in place? I thought 54cc sounded about right
  19. ^^ This is about right (with vct also) from what I was told. If you go to the information screen on the HC you will see 26 d-jetro most likely. I can't find it on the nengun site anymore but.....
  20. Ahh I'm not gonna argue lol. I know what it's like when it seems like your driver has been robbed of the championship so I see where your coming from. I was just trying to be a 'Neutral' voice on the matter. Spa was the opposite of Valencia. Vettel out from no fault of his own, Alonso wins. Thats why I said thats just racing. I think either driver is worthy of it this year, The worst fact from the USA GP was 'Kimi is the only driver to have raced every lap of a race this year' I hope the next Lotus Is a good one
  21. Lol im not worried about it, just curious as to where it has ended up I know I have more then 8.5:1 and maybe slightly less then 9:1, so its in an area I'll be happy just one of those things I want to know
  22. Also if anyone is after an Apexi Power FC for an R33 I have mine for sale now that the new one is up and running. from anyone here I will take $1000 for it Came out of the car yesturday, working fine, the only reason I went with a new one is that this one has quite an old version of the Power FC software on it and is a bit slow when tuning, plus I got a good deal on a new one its 100% working and has never frozen or stuffed up in anyway that I can recall. Comes with Hand Controller and has the tune from my car still on it at the moment but can be reset to base map with the controller. Only bad thing about it is a few scratches on the ECU itself, but you dont see it behind the kick panel and it has no effect on anything inside PM me if you are interested or know anyone that is
  23. Its had a light skim, but I may have just been lazy and not tried for an extra few cc's either way its about where it should be. Will re-do it later and working out the comp ratio when I'm keen to do some maths. Just gotta sit down and have a think about it right now its to hot for that $hit
  24. Sean was looking for gearbox oils, just wanted to re-quote some forum annoyance 51cc in the combustion chamber of the head sound about right to you? Just went and did a quick cc of the head with valves and spark plug in and got that
  25. I just had a look, they have the redline MT90 - $25 a quart, basicaly a litre. I dont know how much the V35 boxes hold but it was $110 delivered for me to fill my 33 box up with 3.8L
