  3. 4 bolts. Because I didn't know they were slotted basically Nah was gonna clean up the cam gear and vct cause they had a bit of surface rust. I've put it back so the washers cover up the slots so will probably be close enough
  4. Has anyone ever adjusted the std VCT inlet cam gear. I pulled mine off not realising it was slotted. I dont really want to dial it in or anything like that cause it looks like a bit of a bitch to do (as the bolts are on the back). I've just got it about dead centre at the moment

  9. The redline oil I have in mine is fine. Haven't noticed any leaks
  10. Crank should be getting balanced over the next few days. So I can finally start putting shit together Got over the idea of cc-ing it. The shape of the piston domes and how it all sits just makes it more trouble then its worth. I already know its going to be between 8.5 - 9:1 so that's all good. Get it all together and work out what colours I'm gonna paint everything. Sick of looking at the block how it is at the moment. Will look much nicer with some paint on it

  18. Hey. People are saying vettel didn't deserve it. I disagree with that. I'm not even going to get into the Ferrari team tactics. That will start a whole other argument Say what you like but 3 WDC at vettels age is amazing
  19. Appears to be all the time. I have loaded 2 different maps in there (albeit both maps from my car) and driven with data init performed and just the injector and AFM settings changed via hand controller just to get it moving. Havent got a reply from apexi yet. So think I try and contact Apexi america again and maybe get in touch with apexi japan

The standard water lines are hard lines, I cant remember if the turbo feed is a hardline or not, but it could be that with the heat over time they have moved and are pressing against the banjo trying to push it one way when the banjo bolt wont move obviously because its screwed in. If this sounds like whats happening then I would continue to undo the banjo bolts Seeing as it sounds like you have an aftermarket turbo this might not be the case. there should definently be no pressure in the oil feed or drain, as any pressure bleeds off pretty much as soon as the engine turns off. The coolant lines will have coolant in them of course, but when cold it should just be coolant at ambient pressure, pull the radiator cap off and it should bleed off any pressure thats in there (Be careful it doesnt spew out at you, but this shouldnt be a problem unless the car was hot) Let us know how you go. Good to see your not just giving up because someone before you didnt know what they were doing
  22. Well lucky you I guess. I'm semi used to it now. Start of the year I thought it was the worst thing in the world, but I love the look of the Lotus and the Red Bull now. For some reason the Mclaren front end no longer does it for me..... Mercedes on the other hand..... No thanks
  23. I think Seb worked really hard for it in that race. Thats alot of pressure to overcome and I think he deserves it. I'm not going to start an argument about who deserves it more, Alonso has driven a pig most of the season and its a very good effort to get that close. Congrats to Kimi on being the only driver to finish every race this year. Consistency is right, just nail the performance next year
