  1. hrmm quite like that.. I've never been a big fan of the pokey outery tail lights, I'd prefer them to be set in like the coupes. Still looks awesome but.. Wouldn't put me off buying one.
  2. GT2510, gt2530.. They all seem to get going around 4000rpm. Hell my VG30DET turbo didn't get going until 4000rpm on the 20t.
  3. lmao.. its funny because its true.
  4. Yep exactly as what CP cc'd their heads up which is interesting.. 62.5cc's.
  5. Could also be a vac leak. Have you checked afr's on idle/very light throttle?
  6. Turbo timers are over rated anyway.
  7. Well thats quite strange as your only using a relay?!? :S I remember the relay is in the boot inside the drivers side guard as if you follow the wiring thats where it goes. I think.
  8. The Ceffy was a silverish colour. It had stock R32 GTST wheels on the front and some other mag looking wheels on the rear. Its not worth speculating who was in the wrong as its too hard to tell, the commo driver could have been pissed leaving the Barracks (Officers Mess etc and yes its quite common I know of people) or simply not paying attention; on the other foot it could have been the ceffy was booting it.
  9. How did you get 9.1? See attached pic of the values I used for Arias piston 2 that gave me the 9.83:1 comp ratio.
  10. On the way home from grabbing some water up at the brewery a ceffy had an accident on anzac's out the front of the army barracks. It 'appeared' the ceffy was heading south down anzac and t-bonned a vn commodore turning right out of the barracks to head up anzac highway towards town. The Ceffy was a bit of a mess. Not sure if there were cops down at Glenelg as I didn't go that far down Anzacs. From what I saw it was pretty quiet. Stopped to grab some fatjacks just after the accident and saw some dead stock looking blueish? Toyota older model something. OMG did that thing get up and move even with its stuffed diff. It actually looked quick which is rare are cars generally look slow accelerating.
  11. Good stuff. According to http://www.csgnetwork.com/compcalc.html CP 1 - 8.18:1 2 - 8.86:1 Arias 1 - 9.47:1 2 - 9.83:1 Arias look out of wack from what they are supposed to be...
  12. Did you use looms earth on the relay? You need to use both the looms trigger (obviously) and the looms earth. I had issues with the fuel pump staying on when I earthed the relay to the chassis.
  13. Yep thats right the 2 housings move... Which when bolted up essentially rotates the centre bit at a different angle.
  14. Clutch Mastercylinder? They are worth $70 odd new via after market. New slave cylinder costs ~$40 Unable to find an aftermarket brake master cylinder. To recondition them its worth ~$120. So not so bad.
  15. I've ued BCPR6E and recently dropped BKR7E in.
  16. Go the 264 route first Roy... They can always be used in the R32 RB25 head.
  17. ROY! NO CAT? My boys lungs.. lmao *jk*
  18. I'll pull over if I see you Madaz. If not I'll cruise home with my Water. lol
  19. Not sure at the moment.. Depends on when the other half has to pick up her oldies.. It will be after that. Probably around the time I saw you last time.. What ever time that was lol.
  20. lol yes it was EOI. And there is plenty of it. The back room here just isn't ready yet.. I've got exams on so I'll get my arse in to gear and rig up some secure tables that span around the room. Power is the next issue.. Unsure if a single 15amp feed out to the back room that also powers lights to be sufficient. :S
  21. Stocky, S3_girl has been pushing 373rwkw through his stock bottom end (all nissan bearings, precision hypereutectic pistons, not sure on what rod bolts) with a GT40 for some time. I think it takes 20 something psi to make that power but is running an SOHC head with reasonable cams. He keeps revs in check, under 7000rpm I believe.
  22. Madaz, Heading out to get water again tonight. If I see you I will pull over.
  23. You need to use a CRO to test the output of the ignitor. Not the wiring you dont.
  24. Ahh well its good to know its not an isolated incident and a few have had issues. So what gauge @ a reasonable price do you people recommend? :S
  25. Nice.. Be sure to throw a dyno sheet up showing us the after affect. These DOHC's really need cams to get them reving hard when sitting on the 3ltr bottom end.
