vta,ing the stock bov will stall. but not because of the common misconception out there. the stock bov is over 10+yrs old on most of our cars. as such springs wear out etc. i tried vta'ing my stock one..... didnt make it out of the street. BUY a aem bov. u will therefore have an item in perfect working order. dont go gtr bov's as they have the same age related problems

+1 brutha. if your only aiming for 200-250kw the em blue will do a great job. heaps of people have them. emu wud be the pinacle...but not THAT necessary depending on your target and they are simple to tune.. so tuners should be easy to find... and saves tuning time=$$$$

SAFC-FUEL ONLY, with a possible afm and injector enhancements. greddy emu- launch control, laptop hookup, timing and fuel, runs a map sensor=no afm's, shows all temps + intake temp. and comes with a base tune for common mods such as fmic, exhaust, fuel pump etc. it also has updatable software so it never goes out of date. thats a nice setup emz r33. but here u would get raped for it. coppas are soo fuzzy on the legislation. 1 said had to be secured and other said it needed to be boxed?!?!?! dont want to sound mean. but unless some of u are on your p's. why not sell your de's and get a det?

any common muffler place will be able to mandrel bend and supply u with the steel/ally u need

go it mate. ive got a few shades over legal. never been picked up. if u go past a coppa or pulled up.. just open all your windows and your sunroof.....but stay away from colored tints :S

-sigh- dude this has been covered to death. it is the stock ecu. it has a process of RICH AND RETARD. when u go over 10psi the ecu freaks out and retards the timing and dumps fuel....hence the rich. this results in the car feeling as tho it is hitting the wall, and is slightly jerky with a huge flat spot. twist it back to 10PSI. safc will help with the rich problem. but it doesnt monitor or control timing etc. GET A REAL EAM ECU. greddy emanage ultimate controls timing. em blue is fine but lacks the features of the emu

he may mave different circumstances etc. he could have more corosion than normal. and all metals dont age the same....who knows if it was even the stock bolt. might be a hex bolt replacement from bunnings :S

what about no bonnet. sometimes i have had to drive to the welder or muffler men without a bonnet. for them to do turbo work etc?

could it be possible that when u wired it to the ecu that u have a few wires in contact with each other. this may be causing the problem?

anyone else get pulled up last night? i got a caution for my exhaust and my lights, even tho they are super white led's and i had the packet in the car to PROVE it.
