  4. thx. i have sourced a gt3540. but need info on cams i have found some replacement cams. they are: 270duration and 10.25mm lift. now i can get these in both exhaust and intake, but if i stick this size on intake how will it run? will it run like a dog? i heard u need a different size on the intake?

  6. parents have a ve s. power=sux balls. but other than that its pretty stable and good to drive. but has massive blind spot= pillars are limiting, and so is the high boot thru the rear window. cant see much through the rear mirror

  10. harleys are in a different class, hence different regulations. me muffler man told me that. so stop the crying, u cant compare yourself to a bike. no more debate on this subject...its a clear cut law, ask your muffler mate next time.
  11. thanks man....thats a relief. im new to specific turbo jargon atm.... so all this info is awesome
  12. yea mate but how many 1600cc squirters are they using?? many racing/high performance cars use big injectors to suppliment their apetite. they are called 2ndary injectors. and it is very common in rotors. e.g. they may be using a few 500cc injectors then use a couple of 2000cc injectors to beef up the support. i personally dont know y they do it. perhaps using all 2000cc squirters may be too expensive or inefficient.... im sure someone on here might know?
  13. to answer your question the largest i found a s2 rb can go on intake is 256, 8.8mm lift, and exhaust- 264, 9.0mm lift.. to go bigger is near impossible to find the cams. + only the NEO can take cams with over 10.0mm lift....i checked. (bought off nengun.com) but will do more research and if i find larger cams i will definitely get some...not really on a budget as i only have a few components left due to research i have found some 270, 10.25mm lift on exhaust cam...so will swap that in. also thanks for the replies guys.. i will scratch the To4z and go the GT3540. and it is 600hp ATW. Turbine -Wheel: 68mm w/ 84 trim -Housing: ar .82 Compressor -Wheel: 82mm w/ 56 trim -Housing: .70 ar TIME TO MAKE SOME PHONE CALLs. thanks... u can close this thread if u want R31nismoid.. served it purpose
  14. would that come on before 4500rpm? thanks a lot for that info micheal, appreciate it. remember its for a rb25.....they has displacement issues (wish i had a 2j )
  15. good evening ladies and gentlemen.... the project begins.... time to crack it open and fill it with goodness
  16. thanks champ. do u have a boost threshold and lag figure under your hat for a rb25? t60-1 too big for my needs? thanks
  17. hi guys im looking for a decent turbo for my project looking for 550-600 off a RB25DET. would be happy with 550...but want ability to reach 600 FUEL/IGNITION/management=sorted engine= inlet -256, 8.8mm lift, exhaust- 264, 9.0mm lift - tomei valve springs -tomei solid lifters -arias pistons, rings etc -eagle rods, comes with big and small end bearings. -metal head gasket. -greddy plenum=about 1m+ less piping can anyone out there recommend a turbo that would suit my needs of 550-600hp, with something that would come on boost before 4500 :S or a smaller turbo but at higher boost? mates reckon to twincharge= have the big turbo, but have it supercharged for constant boost. but i dismissed it as a 'more' expensive/useless approach.
  18. math alert!!!! e.g.; cc x 6/5 = hp (700cc x 6/5 = 840hp) \ so nismo 550x6/5= 660hp
  19. LMFAO. man i would have loved to be there to see the guys face in court. damn hilarious...he intimidated u to take the ticket or get done for more and u took it. then fu#$ed him up. ahhhhh one of the best stories EVER!!!

  21. gday mate. i really need to know the EXACT date of the day so i can get off work. without this some of us wont be able to attend
  22. yea. any of u guys remember when chrystler or GM crushed about 100,000 of its production electric cars. sorry this is the only link i could find, its not very academic, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0489037/taglines, couldnt find it on GM or crystler (bad publicity). aparently they were all set to go but they were destroyed from "lack of consumer demand"
  23. i like a good debate. simply YES, alternative fuels would be researched. with the acknowledgement of global warming in the past 3ish years we have researched fuels with less emissions. it is the global warming issue that is driving this revolution. rare oil plays but a small part. continuing to use petrol would cause too much pollution, therefore other fuels would be researched. however this remains a hypothesis....it hasn't happened has it.
  24. sorry to hear that mate. but with such cars u should invest in a GARAGE. u are asking for trouble.
  25. i dont get pulled over as much anymore. they have a new tactic. i have been followed on one account by a black aurion cop car (had portable lights on dash) for about 10-15min. they were tailgating and everything just waiting to catch me out. but kept my revs down...was careful of road rules.. and they peeled off. my bro and i got a chuckle out of it as well. this just goes to show that you are not TARGETED....well atleast not all the time.. if u drive like a hoon u are asking for it.... there is a time and a place for that....when no one is watching.
