  2. i have had them in a s13, a mates r33/ 34, and my r33. it looks good and stops all twist.. but i wouldnt go so far as to say it gives u more power/torque. edit= its definitely worth it. im saying this because it stops the twist. this has to be very helpful to the engine mounts.
  3. well bud. u see in your first pic of the system that u uploaded? it has a rear cannon, a cat and a =mid muffler. the mid muffler helps heaps. i had one with a jasma muffler, sounds like a camry, whisper quite. but when i took it out, it was loud as. the mid muffler acts as a baffle, which im sure u already know, and helps to suppress the sound. u do lose power but its only about 0.0002hp, but is worth it. especially for a gtr, u dont want to attract any more attention ay.
  4. nah not a noob question man. how would u learn if u dont ask? there are variations on the design of o2 sensors. but in general most look like this: they are located usually in the dump pipe. your should see it sticking out the top of the dump pipe. it is the size of the THREAD that u have to worry about when fitting one, but most are universal fit, it is the wiring you have to watch for. it is used to measure the AFR, then the ecu uses that info to make its adjustments. but it is predominately used for cruising

  9. the 'common' gtst r33 person wants 250-300kw. so i would suggest a 3037. with a .62 rear, have heard nothing but good news. your could pick up a cheap one if u look hard enough. and cams baby. gotta love those cams. some simple 256d, 9.25mm lift ones would be cool.-budget pending-
  10. ok. think me and my mates found the problem. we used the noid light=working fine. looked at spark=worked fine. we lowered the fuel pressure to minimal...just to start it,,,and it did start. however on the boost gauge, we werent reading any vacuum. it was on 0. we then noticed a break in the seal of the TB. so no vacuum would cause the fpr not to open, hence no fuel getting in with the right pressure., atleast thats what we think. so we will fix up the TB seal later and see how we go. thanks for the advice
  11. yea mate, no need to apologise. i dont care. speak your mind yea we checked all that, even tested it without fpr on,. fuel pumps out fine your absolutely right uras. it is all hooked up fine
  12. thanks mate,...just bought one. pulse is fine, ignition is fine. the fuel seems to stop at the fpr. i even chucked in my nismo adj fpr, and it only flows fuel if the screw it almost wound out, at very low psi. now that flows enough fuel to start it...but doesnt keep running. it is almost as if the fpr is blocked. but blew it with a compressor and it is clear, but doesnt flow.. any ideas, appears to be the fpr. both stock and nismo dont flow enough fuel

  14. lol. i love my 040's noise. car almost shudders on priming. and dips of the throttle increase its noise. i love definitely a good mod.. but need a bigger pump soon
  15. thanks for your replies. the fuel feed line is coming from the fuel filter...so its the right way around. everything has a circuit and a good earth. and yup adriano injectors are getting 1 12v current and 1 6v current. i will check the cas, however it doesnt appear to be ignition...the injectors arent opening. i wil have a look make sure there are no rags in there too. and yea STOCK FPR.
  16. easy 190kw with fmic, tb exhaust, 10psi, 040. also. if u look at the power thread u can checkout ppl's power and their mods. sure helped me out.
  17. my vta bov has a larger diameter valve. hence more air can get out. with it on, i chirp 3rd. its gives better response imo stock bov does shit all. probably leaks etc
  18. lol respect. stock management....emu hasnt arrived. yea..when fuel is let into the cylinders when the injectors are out, the engine starts for a few sec. but atm it is starved of fuel..but injectors are fine, have a circuit and are clean. it cant be an injector fault. what are the odds of all six going? pressure is high because the fuel isnt going anywhere, this is my problem but i will try disconnecting the afm. + i put in my other injectors and they arent firing ???? so i think its electrical but i cant find the problem.. but it is getting power and everything.

  20. absolutely right r33turbo. vta bov's do make the car backfire...purely because thats what they do. when i switch back to plumb back....all my pops are solved...but not as aggressive to drive.
  21. hi guys. after recently sticking in a forward facing plenum my car does not inject fuel. when on, the pump still wirrs up, fuel fills the rail, and it doesnt seem to be going through the injectors. fuel remains at 60psi ish, proving that fuel is in the rail....but thats as far as it goes. have checked the circuit, all is fine. i have also checked the ignition, aac valve, afm and it is all fine. the car still cranks, and it really wants to crank over, but it only partially catches and doesn't idle.....IT IS SOO CLOSE. so far we have definitely narrowed it to the fuel injection system. i just wanted to get your opinions before i went to a mechanic/electrician. i am getting pretty pissed because it has been off the road for a month. at the same time i also installed a gt3540 with .82rear, custom h/m manifold and tial wastegate. and all the plumbing for that is perfect.
