i only 'dry wash' my car. no water. =polish, degreaser and LOTS of rags and patience. works a treat but takes 30min to 1hr for a very detailed clean AND a blow with a air compressor to get rid of polish residue and stuff

only run on caltex vortex 98. car loves it. but only get about 3kms more than shell 98 to a tank

ive switched constantly between my stockie and ssq for my needs=stealth. i have NEVER experienced idle or stall issues. with the ssq it runs rich between vents, so fuel goes thru the exhaust which my mates say gets me a flame... other than that ive had no probs with vta bov's

can anyone suggest where i can grab a 4'' to 3'' silicone/rubber intake joiner in the maroochydore area? even a straight 4'' would do. i have been to supercheap and autobarn

your a bloody idiot esky mad. such noobieness. just go a 3071R or a 3076R .63 for rb20 ONLY if u like driving around on vacuum would u ever go a 3540

if u want power go the exhaust, that will net u a bit.... if you want to push over 190kw... get a fuel pump, injectors.. but most of all get a new ecu, as the stock one is rendered useless at anything past 10psi= R&R. at this point u will need a clutch..250+hp, get a basic heavy duty one. anything over 300kw = carbon twin plate clutch. but your on a budget so i would go the =TURBO back exhaust as the exhaust is only as bit as its smallest diameter piping, so a catback is useless..a bosch 040... then save for coilovers and ecu. that should get u to 250hp region.\ better having coilovers as a safety issue. the suspension is meant to be replaced every 10yrs, so its not a speed component more of a stability/safety issue

respect to the almighty gt3540.... if u want a kick in the pants and would be happy with a constant whiplash injury go the 3540... but as i said before on a rb20....it will only last for 3sec it just wouldnt do it, u or the car any justice

check the forced induction section man there was a technical write up about it.. basically your car is running rich.. when the fuel comes into contact with oxygen it creates a popping noise. thats about all i can remember. but it is in the FORCED INDUCTION section.

same here. i have a .82 rear housing. and boost comes on at about 3200-3500.. a greddy plenum helps. if u are after PEAK power go for it mate. but it will only last for 2000rpm.. if your after response AND decent power go a 3071R
