  1. July Dinner - Masuya - City CBD Sorry for the late posting on the forums all. SAU / TNS Dinner has been organised for Thursday night the 26th of July 07. This has been moved from Saturday. Something which I know many of us have talked about in the past and that is having GOOD Jap food and this restaurant will not dissapoint in that regard. Restaurant Details: Website: http://www.masuya.com.au/en/masuya/index.html Address: Basement Level, 12-14 O'Connell Street Sydney 2000 Australia Access: 5 minute walk from Wynyard Station Booking Details: Thursday 26th July - 8pm Dinner Menu Examples: For the full menu go to: http://www.masuya.com.au/en/masuya/menu_dinner.html Entrees: Tempura is a good start as everyone loves it. $10.80 and is best shared between two or more people on your table as the serving size is pretty large for a one person entree. Their salmon sashimi entree is hard to go past if you just want a small taste of sashimi or only like salmon as some of us do. Again just $10.80 for this which is easily shared between two. Mains: Masuya has the freshest seafood so obviously one of their best menu items are going to be sashimi. If you are not adverse to sushi and sashimi then you can't go past sharing a Sashmi Boat with a friend: Price: $68 - Feeds 2 to 4 people depending on how much they love Sashimi. Personally I can eat one by myself. If you are more into cooked Japanese food then you can't go past Masuya's good selection. This prime scotch fillet tekiyaki angus beef for example is amazing for $19.80. I recommend checking out the full menu. This restaurant also prepares some amazing hotpot dinners so if you are into DIY you can't go past their shabu shabu: Masuya HotPot $24.80pp best for 2 or more people. Of course if you feel like a drink they serve all the good Jap beers including Sapporo in the big cans: Please post if you intend to attend. Hungry yet? I got hungry just posting this thread... Table is currently booked for 15 people, we can extend this but only if you let us know first!!!: - Sewid +1 - Blitz - Beer Barron - A31Deviat - Liz - Merli - Damuscat +2 - Tosh - tjandriesen+1 - nissaner
  2. It's only in the GTR. You can most likely just replace your non-GTR climate control with a GTR one for a about $150 - $200 but not really good value for money...
  3. You also have to remember that to comply either one of these theres a significant amount of work involved. The white one for example, well you're going to need to source a set of standard brembos for it which aren't cheap unless you can borrow some. Although I don't know who has a set lying around to lend out.
  4. BB the white one does have a Z-Tune (replica but still Nismo) front bar on it. You can't easily tell in those photos but just take a look at the lips on both. Notice the white one has the one piece thin lip down the bottom while the black one has the V-Spec two piece lip. Anyway it's just a fibreglass bar and the plastic front bar is better in terms of durability if you've got any steep driveways to go down.
  5. After owning a black one for years... I say get the white one.
  6. None of the above. Replace it with a new standard headgasket.
  7. Pics look to be broken temporarily - not sure why... Check out these links in the mean time: http://www.sewid.org/gallery/v/myCarGaller...ustPhotoShoot2/ http://www.sewid.org/gallery/v/myCarGaller...gustPhotoShoot/
  8. Mine is black, and for sale yes. Mine is a V-Spec and to be honest you don't pay much extra for a V-Spec so you should always try and get one. The subtle differences don't seem much at first but when you own one you'll be kicking yourself for not paying a small fraction more for the V-Spec. Take a look at some comparison photos. They look naked without their front lip and the rear under tray finishes the rear off that extra bit.
  9. What are you looking at spending? I disagree there are a few choice GTR's available in Australia right now.
  10. Chuck a stock airbox on and an exhaust that isn't loud. There's a bunch of good flowing Jap exhausts which aren't loud. Fujitsubo Legalis R and Trust Power Extreme II are two off the top of my head. An airbox is not going to affect your power at all I thought people on these forums had learnt that by now...
  11. Thanks for your genius post mate... You wise advice is duly noted...
  12. This exact same question has been asked before do a search. Beer baron is spot on though you will want to replace the fuel pump and injectors before attempting to extract more power by way of upgraded turbos.
  13. bump. Still for sale.
  14. so his dump pipe somehow caused his right foot to be unable to lift off the throttle sounds like your mate is trying to blame his lack of self control on his exhaust...
  15. I did have a brochure for the R33 40th Anniversary model but i cant seem to find it. The ones with all the option front bar and wing are known as R33 40th Anniversary Type-MR. Gotta love those and they came in midnight purple too.
  16. Rb26 in a S14 chassis for drift?????
  17. Keep in mind that customs will ask you to supply an invoice (via your customs broker) to prove the price of the items if they pull you up. If you only have one invoice saying $3000 then this wont work.
  18. He's one of the people smart enough not to condone illegal activities on a public internet forum...
  19. Looks great mate and quality modifications. Should make you happy.
  20. Situations with neighbours are the most annoying to deal with I find. You can't just tell them to F off because it's probably going to escalate the issue. Do you own the apartment? Are you renting? Does she own her apartment? I recently had an issue with my neighbour who tried to tell me that my dog was responsible for pissing on her plants. I know how ridiculous this problem is to everyone but to her it's a big deal. Your neighbour seems the same, doesn't have a lot to do with herself so she's nosy and causing problems for other people. I would try and discuss it with her in a calm and adult way and try and make her see how her behaviour is juvenile. Tell her that unfortunately you need to park your car there and it is completely within your rights to do so. Try to tell her that as a compromise you will drive very slowly into the car park or whatever to minimise noise. This shows that you are at least able to discuss the issue in an adult way instead of babbling and flailing like she currently is. If she continues to call the police then it is time to tell her in a frank way that this is likely to be considered harassment and that the police are more likely to charge her than you in the long run. Consider speaking to the strata management company or an attorney who deals with strata issues. I can give you the name of a good one on the north shore if you like. Advice from an solicitor is likely to be worth a million forum replies.
  21. It's in all R32's. It's probably under the dash on the drivers side.
  22. I have a Consult -> RS232 (PC serial port) cable for sale actually. I used it when my ECU was standard but no longer need it since my ECU is no longer standard. It's $100 including the Nissan Data scan software license that came with it. PM me.
  23. as well as short trips through houses hey?
  24. I was very shocked to hear of this and condolences to friends and family.
