Some fabricated Aussie parts are of amazing quality. Plenums, oil catch tanks, carbon fibre panels. They are not cheaper than Jap parts though for the most part. Some Chinese/Taiwanese parts are fine too especially when you consider half the people that are buying Japanese brand parts are really using items made in China or Taiwan and they don't know the difference. It's cost prohibitive for Japanese companies to manufacture everything in Japan.

Yep. Different cams and the 34's use a different CAS but the cams physically fit in all rb26 heads. I think the heads are all the same.

Thanks Yeah the car isn't clean and there's already a layer of bugs pretty thick in those photos. Washed it last night at about 10pm. I'm sure my neighbours thought I was mental but I had to get about an inch thick layer of dead insects off before they dried up

Hahaha yeah. 1000km just yesterday. It's very tiring to listen to the exhaust on the thing tho it's a straight through pipe with one crappy muffler. Well over the legal noise limit im sure. Going for a Kakimoto to quieten it down I think.

Yep I had a black 34 v-spec. It was great but too much money locked up in it to thrash it like I should. I fell in love with white and that has been my top pick for colour. Pretty much wanted a white 33 ever since I saw Mik's S3 almost 2 years ago now. She has a good foundation, forged internals, some minor head cleanup, strong exedy clutch, baffles all round. Just needs some bolt ons to make her come alive. Standard displacement and standard turbos for now. Likely going to grab another pair of GT-SS's I liked them so much on my last car. Anyway, this car is in about the best condition inside + out i've seen for a 33 and considering that plus the almost new rebuild etc it was a steal.

Thanks - They're taken about 350 km east of Adelaide on a property off the Sturt Hwy. I drove this car 1400km from Adelaide to Sydney and I guess this is about 70km before Mildura. There are some really awesome rolling plains and these taken at sunset came out the best. Wish I took my DSLR+tripod to get some HDR photos. Yep. Flashbacks to my old R32 GTSt kept me from buying one in the end. My old 32 had so many problems. Had one lined up that was in amazing condition but then this came up. This is a S2 GTR too so it gets a couple more ticks in the newness department, brembos, airbags and not much tradeoff in weight.

Yeah. Almost bought a silver one but this one has some bits that made it a pretty decent bargain.
