  1. Sorry nevermind spotted your "will update in 5mins thing"
  2. Street racing videos in the main forum FTW
  3. Great post mate. This is what the forums is all about.
  4. If your 34's airbox is truly unmodified then the first thing you should do is remove the blocking plate in the secondary airbox intake (the one from the wheel well). Mine still had this when it came from Japan as well so it's possible yours does too. Opens up the intake and should be the first thing anyone does when they buy one. It's there to quieten down the intake but easily removed with a bit of elbow grease.
  5. These threads are more suited to the wasteland...
  6. AUD has lost a 10 - 15yen in the past week. Was around 105 now trading around 90 yen for 1AUD. The car Blitz refers too was very good indeed. It basically looked like a brand new car inside, outside and underneath.
  7. Yeah... obviously *I* am the one dreaming. It's really obvious by the fact that I sold my $70,000 car in three weeks but you can't sell your $30,000 car in almost a year. O.....k....
  8. Well let me give you some feedback from my perspective. This is meant to be constructive criticism from a buyers perspective so please don't be offended. I am looking to buy another GTR as I just sold my 34 GTR. I'm actively looking at cars on the forums, off the forums and through word of mouth. I looked at your ad on the forums and decided it didn't warrant a follow up from me because: - Modifications do not seem to be well thought out - Exhaust looks like its about to fall off in that rear shot - No pics of the interior , 1 blurry pic doesn't really count - No engine bay photos - Most pics are extremely low res I can't tell anything from a 555x416 pixel photo - Power figure is a guess, is it tuned? - You didn't post the year model - You didn't post the total km's or even an estimate if it's had the cluster changed - You didn't post a location and you blanked out the number plate... no idea where you are mate... I don't know what you expect but you have to do some of the work if you want to attract buyers, don't expect them to ask every single question which should have already been answered. Also you obviously have a digital camera so get out there and use it and post some proper photos not ones you've downloaded from carsales.com.au. High res photos make me stop and look at a car for far longer and usually short list it for a visit. That is if i know where the car is to begin with.
  9. There is a R32 GTS and GTSt V-Selection II. Not too interesting really. There is no such thing as an R32 M-Spec. The only car Nissan ever named M-Spec was the R34 GTR M-Spec and M-Spec Nur.
  10. Yes there's a difference but yes they will fit. Difference is on the drivers side mat only. GTR mat is a little smaller because of the transfer case bulge.
  11. Nice car. Agree about the newer car thing. Can't stand looking at a 1990's interior every day.
  12. Yeah. GTR engines cost a packet and the end product is a RWD car still.
  13. If you're considering an R33 GTS-t buy a 1996 or later one. Don't bother with the series 1. Autos have no resale value as noone wants them so if you buy one be aware that when you want to sell it its a pain.
  14. It's worth 10k.
  15. That is standard. Why do you have a problem with standard? Nissan made it that way do you think they had rocks in their heads? R34 GTR turbos can operate under those conditions all day every day.
  16. Can't fit the whole 4wd setup in the floor is different on your car you don't have the space for the transfer case. Can put the RB26 in RWD though.
  17. I think he means lipping. They fit pretty well but if you're doing track work you will probably not have it so low that you need to lip your guards. Anyway with the right choice of tyre that is unnecessary anyway.
  18. Happy Birthday for this Adam. Wont be able to make it as im flying out tomorrow but im sure it will be a great night!
  19. Grats on taking ownership John. I met you the other night at Masuya. Anyways look after the old girl im sure she'll treat you right. Mine is gone to a new owner too now... Anyone with a white standard 32 or 33 GTR or V35 2door for sale let me know... So hard to find a good one...
  20. buy both.
  21. I don't see pressure being the deciding factor instead it's probably duty cycle.
  22. Since Ribs and Rumps was the dinner before last we have another idea for next dinner which will be posted today if we get time. I think you'll like it just as much though!
  23. Australian motoring "journalism" at it's finest.
  24. Beer Baron already posted on Defi guages. They're the best out there but if you only want one guage then it is pricey. When you look at the features though you certainly get what you pay for.
  25. psst... you can datalog with a powerFC...
