  1. happens all too much, usually by middle age people (say 40-50) in 4x4's that have never been off the road. bloody tough waste of space morons! I hit the brakes a few times to flash my lights at them, if they don't back off I then slow down and try to box them in traffic just to really piss them off. =)
  2. research will be your friend.. search functions will answer your questions and allow you to make your own decision, while teaching you something in the process. =)
  3. ^^ best advice right there.! Whatever you do DO NOT give the seller the full amount directly.
  4. chasing R33 pod filter enclosure box.
  5. since you just purchased it, start with a *FULL* service. including all filters, plugs, fluids, at least checking sensors and coilpacks. basically eliminate all the simple issues that don't get addressed by someone selling a car. given its a R32 with an engine transplant I would hope it has had ecu changed as well, you need to know what it is because a larger turbo will require tuning.
  6. Certainly try, been a while...
  7. a really clean and reliable 33 will be over 7k unless you find someone who needs to sell fast. I would not sell mine for less than 8.5 and i'd have to be desperate. Was offered $8500 as a trade in from a caryard, so obviously they could still make a profit on that. Insurance varies on your age (obviously). try justcars for online quotes. A lot of insurers won't cover them as they are imports. over 25 you are roughly looking at $600-$1000 full comp, depending on agreed value, mods, excess... under 25, well its heaps.
  8. Welcome, you've come to the right place. good to see someone doing some research before jumping in =) Best of luck with your venture!

  14. replacing fuel filter made my economy better by just over 1L/100km. well worth it imo..
  15. ^^ what he said. Unless you go too fat that is =) in my 33 i used 42mm and had no problems at all, i expect 34 will be the same. the 50mm ones I have heard some fit, some needed a little adjustment.
