  1. Lol if anyone said that i'd reply "300 whp is what's wrong. Wanna race biatch?"
  2. If i can only 'just' hear it at idle i can live with that. Anything more though and i'd probably get pissd. Hey! I hope i don't get starting issues. My mate has one and recommends it, never had starting issues. Did you install it yourself and stuff it up? Hehe
  3. Yeh i've heard loud pumps, sounds like a bee hive under the car I can live with it (i hope), the exhaust might drown it out a little. As long as it works hard 24/7 what's the diff.
  4. BTW anyone got reviews of the 040? I was told it isn't the best pump in the world. For the price does it deliver?
  5. Sweet thanks. I'm running a stock turbo but i'm likely to upgrade, so looks like i can keep running the 040. I'll be picking it up in the morning
  6. How much power can the 040 handle until it's maxed? Did a search and couldn't find anything. Thanks.
  7. Looking forward to seeing some R33's! Will be awesome to witness Oz's Skyline enthusiast's in one mag. Can't wait.
  8. Totally agree mate. But we can't EXPECT his motor to die. It's safer to assume it needs a rebuild, especially seeing as a new owner will be excitedly thrashing about, but the turbos will be on their last legs for sure. If you want comfy, cleaner and hassle free daily driving get the GTT (i would). But if you are serious on performance and don't mind refurbishing the GTR (which would make it nicer to own anyway), even rebuilding the motor just to be safe, then fork out $20k and set aside another $10k for renovation on the GTR. Both choices have their merits. You decide.
  9. How about we go halvies on my Bosch fuel pump Nathaniel?
  10. I'm sick of watching crappy PR videos of R35 'testing'. I wanna see a real hoon thrash the S**T outta this beast
  11. Chick, chick--> BOOM! Lol. Ok you want it done cheap? No problem. Just go for basics, but do it quality. 230-250rwkw (plenty), supporting mods (duh), HD clutch + light flywheel, lowered on adjustable coilovers, 17x9 inch rims at the rear sitting on 255/40 rubber (even more= better), front 17x8/9 inch. Sway bars and strut braces. Oil cooler. Think about a GTR rear wing (do 34 ones swap to a gtt?). Also uprate the brake pads, fluid and get braided lines. Get as much weight off as possible, esp. on the front end (hard on a budget though). Test that out and go from there adding whatever it needs. Now that i think of it, this isn't really that cheap... Have fun! Oh, and picsorban when the project starts
  12. OK i have to see this. Vidsorban. Bloody farkin' quick that is
  13. Such a mission! Just buy a NSW rego'd car.
  14. Buy wheels ftw . Or DIY it
  15. Actually something is happening that day. A Palm Beach cruise *That crappy one-liner was for James*
  16. In the 1st pic, that's the power window rail.
  17. Awesome idea. Can someone post pics of the finished job so we can see what it's meant to look like? Like, for example, how do you fit the cold air 'snorkel' running through the hole so it's sturdily attached to the car? I'll be doing this when i get a front mount. Will be sweet with a cold air box
  18. We can trust this is an indication that Mine's will be the bar-setter for the R35.
  19. Thanks for the advice. I'll def upgrade to 255's (i think i'll hang on to 45 profile...suspension jarrs the f**k outta me) in that case. If that's the 'correct' size then all's good. Also good to hear 265 can be done (GRIP!) Cheers as
  20. Can someone explain why Chrono 300v is better for my stock turbo R33 streeter daily? I use 4100 and i thought it was good (guess i was WRONG then). Why is Chrono the sh*t apart from being fully synthetic (i get that part), any other reasons? Or it just has a better name?
  21. Get ready for big bucks and a mission. But if you plan it out it'll be an awesome project. Hmmm sounds like fun too boosted Rb26 300rwkw with strong supporting mods--> lots of suspension, braking and drivetrain work. Top notch tyres. And plenty left over too.
  22. What's the biggest tyre size a 9 inch rim can take? I currently have 235's (45 profile) and they're too small, i'm getting wider ones. Is 255 the 'correct' size or can i go bigger? How will these choices affect handling/ride quality? Thanks
  23. Pics would help.
  24. Impressive. Makes me wonder why Nissan didn't make these themselves. Like an RB30 with the anger of an RB26. Congrats.
  25. I think it has merit. The real thing will not look that good, or as good as the R35 coupe. There will be a market for this car (not everywhere) and some folk (fat Americans) will want a practical saloon they can give a squirt every now and then on the way home through the hills. BMW and Mercedes are awesome at making ballsy saloons, so let Nissan try it out. If it bombs then we're none the worse. We'll just have more spare parts in 10 years
