Where To Buy Body Kits In Wa? (for Skylines Of Course)

i went the rb22 for different reasons.... one largely being i had a heap of rb20 goodies already and i couldnt be bothered selling them off and buying rb25 stuff ie: ecu etc for the conversion and a had a time limit also as I thought for what I do Id rather a brand new engine than a 100k old rb25 I wouldnt say its the cheapest option but im happy with the outcome overall and does its job very very well... is responsive enough, takes a hiding, makes the power and still revs its nuts off all I will say re: Lewis is.. mine breathes like a mofo as its built loose so if its for road use ask it to be built tighter each to their own, depends on what you want outta it and why etc
-
would go 0.63 also i have almost similar but rb22 with cams HKS 2835 with 0.82 rear fullboost 4700 370rwhp and 480nm at 18.5psi so on rb20 with 3071r 0.63 would expect little less power than mine and little less lag than above graph

haha you nob... dont spend money on painting like you do lol spend the coin on parts superior car maybe but driver has to be able to too... still working on that bit

i think i have gone just about as wide as you can go without using spacers on the front of my r32 gtst got r33 LCA's (10mm longer and give -2.5 deg camber at my ride hieght) , Kazama extra length tie rod ends with extra lock with bump steer adjusters on each end, s14 steering rack (bout 5mm longer each end) and run 17 x 9 +17 p1's with 235's on the front. I also have camber adj up top run total of -3.25 deg and castior running 7 deg. Running 27mm whiteline adj swaybars front n rear too front on medium People told me everything from rims wouldnt fit in gaurds to that much increase in front track will tram line you... i use mainly for drift but do sprint series as well and can say that personally i think the handling for both is awesome can dial out most oversteer with sway bar adj and coiler damper adj go wide ... go big

bcozican replied to chalky's topic in Engines & Forced Induction

Rb20 Cams.... Any Power Gains With Lightly Modified Engine?
bcozican replied to chalky's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
roy i got 321hp = 240 rwkw outta rb20 with 264 in / ex cams and hks 2530 0.63 at 19 /20 psi would you not agree most rb20 with just straight 2530 + 20 psi = 230 rwkw? if so then approx 10 rwkw gain ?? ( I know very very simple comparison and every dyno is diff etc) Not saying this is what id do on a mild engine as bang for ur buck is not really there same cams i think make big diff with the rb22 on 2835 use more of the rev range where the rb20's love to be -
as above afm maxed out 0.86 housing on a 2530 is defeating the point isnt it ? wouldnt u just be shifting the curve to be laggier effectively ? that turbo can still only flow so much but is used for reponse on a rb25 with normal 0.63 housing HKS put on it...0.86 housing get more top end but still only flow 230rwkw

nope round 5 State Drift Comp at Collie on Sunday next prac is 26th March pretty sure
-
id say no got to 2.4 because they offer a kick ass rb25 rebuild package that would cost basically the same rb22 has different characteristics to it than rb24/25 - longer stroke than the rb20 but shorter than 24/25 and higher revving etc etc etc call Darren he wont be shy of telling you all about it .. he just did my rb22 with few adjustments here and there from his usual package and im more than pleased with the result for my needs btw - been following this awesome job on rb24 and commitment to doing something a little different ..well done

bcozican replied to Brad_32's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
commonly known at 18-19psi to go 230rwkw on rb20's couple people pushed the limits of it to 240rwkw which i got with supporting mods search, millions of topics on its power and response, awesome turbo for straight bolt on bang for buck -
Rb20 Turbo Upgrade, All Dyno Results

RB22 - 370rwhp 481nm at 18.5 did a run at 20.5psi 388rwhp and 505 nm but will keep it safe for now and still only running std rb20 g box 5000 rpm peak hp 5750 rpm peak nm. revs right through to 8000 rpm holding 355 rwhp to end with 17psi on drop off HKS 2835 GT Pro 0.82 HKS 264 in /ex cams HKS adj cam gears ARIAS custom forged pistons and rings HKS head gasket ACL competition bearings New springs balanced, blueprinted internals rb 25 crankshaft, rb26 GTR CONRODS GTR Injectors Nistune Greddy FMIC K & N pod filter Splitfire coilpacks Z32 AFM race ported head gates race belt, tensioners etc. Custom extra capacity sump Oil restrictors in head Massive Oil return from head to sump Crank Collar Custom Baffled catch can setup with full oil return to sump Greddy Oil cooler with relocation kit Exedy Single Plate 5 puk clutch Walbro fuel pump 3" straight through with 5/6" cannon muffler Manual Turbosmart Boost T A touch laggy but mainly using as drift car at Barbagello so a track specific setup anything or anywhere else would use same turbo 0.63 rear or 3071r with 0.63 rear housing or Trust TD06g for little more response alot of time etc spent on oil system to get that right and up to standard for harshest conditions Am pretty happy with the setup .. has 400hp in it may go there if put a 25 g box in it... only really want to add a Plazaman plenum to shorten cooler piping and possibly increase response and mid range a touch and a 6boost just because -
rb22/3 with HKS 264 9.1 cams and HKS 2835 GT Pro with 0.86 rear for me, will be done by next week, be interesting to see how it feels
-
those two are direct replacement turbos bolt on to existing flanges and if you get the kit yep you get everything. you can buy the turbo's by themselves but you are just gonna have to get lines made up separate..depends if you can get your hands on a kit or not at a good price depends on supporting mods and power figures but a GTRS will prob be too big and laggy... i had a 2530 on with cams + supporting maxed it out 321hp (240 rwkw) all in and done by 3800rpm till redline ... went hard
-
yeah i totally agree, for me .. i blew my engine but still have all supporting bits cams injectors ecu etc etc to go on and not looking for super mega hp so getting one built and having little things done to help oil flow etc etc so rather than have to sell most stuff off first then do the swap it suited me head getting ported n polished etc in build so should help a bit does anyone know the mmcf friggin lcympv things flow rating of the std rb 20 and rb 25 heads??
-
im getting rb23 (25crank 26 rods) built right now for the exact positive reasons mention... rather than going the throw in a rb25 std thing for a little less capacity etc im getting a brand spanking new forged engine with more torque than the std rb20 i was pretty happy with anyway and will rev its nuts off rather than throwing in a 100K old rb25 especially if its done for you and all in good nick at right price theoretically you'd have a better package than a std rb25 stuff

pretty sure they in Japland
