from the capa website, mercury CDI coil, $71 each so just over 400 for all 6 and 1k for motec 4 channel CDI, coils are not overly expensive really as that is list price and can get for less than that. Sydneykid do you run a 4 channel and fire in waste spark setup or have 2 4channel or 1 larger CDI? Need to determine if it is worth me upgrading now or just leaving the stock system in place, whats another grand really and i dont wont the hassles if it fails down the track

also i know rb20 and rb25 ser 1 coils are the same, is there any difference between these and rb26 and the rb26 ignitor

Hi, just chasing some peoples opinion on the stock ingnition system of rb engines and what you people do to upgrade them. What power level is the stock coils/ignitor good for reliably? Do the stock coils like to be run by a CDI with good results? What aftermarket coils do you run and do younuse a CDI? I will be using a motec ecu looking for a system that will handle 600hp with ease, cheers clint

i would keep going untill it stops, mt 32 box made some nasty noises for ages but kept going, get a OS gear set for 4k and put it in, thats what ill do if mine ever brakes

measure the stroke, also the bolt for the harmonic balancer is larger than the gtst one

chris im 99% sure they go in no probs, to only diff is they dont have the hicas mounts now you should be able to swap the rear cover plate with your std diff and all will be sweet, but without looking at them side by side i dont wont to give a deffinate answer

is the andra rule book avaliable on line so i can get a more detailed explination

Hi im looking for a fuel i can run my car on, something a little better than 98octane stuff, not interetsed in avgas as its getting harder to get and there are serious fines for using it on the street. Elf turbomax is a litte expensive so a price range of maximun $2.5 a litre i will say atm, what are you people running?

its easy people, buy a gtr 32 speed sensor, remove the 33gtst one and take the gear of the end, put the gear onto the 32 one and put it in the gearbox and screw on the speedo cable

new from nissan trade is around 900-1000 i think, you will pay 500 for a sh one and then you have no gaurantee, go new

yeah that JMS dyno done at autosalon was a little fake, around 330rwkw as said. around 380rwkw would be the max a rb25 has done, obehaves fiqures are believeable looking at the setup and times achieved, but i no longer believe many dyno figues published due to the large differences at different places. Ill get back to you in a few weeks, mine should top just about all
