  1. good work John, whats the power curve like? also didnt you have a ppg box in their for a little before, did you get a chance to use it much and why the OS 6 speed? Joel, yeah Tim Possingham now works with tillbooks and has done for a while now, catch up boy
  2. yeah rb26 head will go on rb25 block no problem, you will need to drill and tap the block to suit the bigger head bolts of the rb26
  3. Hey i had 230rwkw or so for 12 months on 15psi or so boost and had no engine troubbles, but when i pulled the engine out was lacking a little compression i believe, they are a very strong engine but it depends what you start with. Once you start buliding engines its always a case of why not spend a little extra, whats another $500 here another $1000 there and it gets crazy, but to do it all properly, engine build, turbo, cooler, full ecu etc nd its easy to blow well over 20k to do a good job thats not over the top, it never ends. set a goal or $$ you wont to spend and work to it
  4. no interetsed as i just bought 2 but can give sum info, i got two sparco, which are made by sabelt the same as in your pics, 3'' vertical strap 2'' waist, with quick release buckle( the only way to go) and eye bolts and quick release coupling as in your pics and there were jsut under 400 each inc GST trade price, but there are many many different models with different options wehic can make a big difference in price, anyway the sabelt make very good harnesses so you cant go wrong try IKD or International Karting Distibuters they import sparco so you can compare the price between the two brands
  5. horsepower in a box has them, still looking at some v8 stuff before i decide
  6. no pics sorry mate, its welded to the std runners with a half circle top and bellmouths inside, im worried that the std one may cause some restriction and dont wont to have to redo anything on that side of the engine, cooler piping would have a 73mm ID so 70mm mine would be ideal, im thinking ill just get the 80mm holley one to make it easy and it looks the part
  7. im using a subzero plenum, has a plate for the xf throttle body but would ratehr use something else
  8. that and the fact that for half the price of brand name jap injectors you can get some other good stuff, so get a trick alloy rail made and your still infront with a better setup
  9. looks good, depends if i can find one soon, and the cost, the holley billet allow one is $500 delivered so it would wont to be 300 or so to be worth it otherwise ill just spend the extra
  10. deffinately big enough, you got one for sale? i would wont to see pics i have seen one on a trust plenum but cant remember exactly what it loooked like, wont something preety clean with minimal attachment on it
  11. Hi what are you people using for a bigger throttle body on new plenums, have a xf that has a 63mm butterfly that i was going to use but it it big and ugly and the throttle linkage is messy to hook up, the stock rb25 one is 60mm, i think this will be a little small for 600hp which is what i wont it to be able to support easily, the only other i can find is a holley 80mm one for $500, is there any std car or aftermaket avaliable around the 70mm mark , cheers clint
  12. Have a trust intercooler kit complete with all pipes, blitz BOV mounted to one, all hoses and clamps too, bolts up to a r32 but will fit 33 or s13 with some mods, core size 400x260x70,excelnt conditojn only minor dents in the cooler fins, $1000 in adlelaide will ship, email [email protected] if your interested, clint
  13. deffinately change the rods if you have a early rb25 and if chasing more than 600hp i would go new rods anyway, cheap for you in the states. I have seen the rb26 manifols used with a plate bolted to the head with countersuck bolts to the head and then studs to the manifols, a lot easier than cutting welding the manofolds but does crate more places for things to go wrong
  14. yeah maybe a scrap one or somthing they no longer needed, if you can find the place ill by 1k worth and resell here for $50 a bend, anyway hope you find the place
  15. good luck, $50 is cheap for a aluminium mandrel bend, you wont even buy a mild steel one for $10 in 2.5''
  16. Thanks sydney kid, that makes perfect sence when explained your way when you have a little mech knowledege, i have gtr exh cam in my rb25 head so hopefully it will be no problems, only has 8.8mm lift anyways
  17. Hi have some, $30 inc post, pm me if your interetsed, clint
  18. you shouldnt need ever need it, if you do just put the rear rack back on with no lines too it for regeny, the 33 pump will bold streight up no probs, havent checked the pully sizes but hopefully i wont have a problem running with the rb20 harmonic balancer. a complte new rear rack will only cost you $120 and be much more stable, i never had light in my car when i disconnected it all either
  19. very cheap prices, would be good if you could get more info and detailed and dissasembled pics of the rear camber arms and what material are they made from?
  20. JEM, www.justenginemanagement.com here makes plug in looms for haltech ecu, the e11 is very good with many features, a budget M800 basically
