Hi im just trying to fing out what the large box under the r32 gtst parcel tray is, it has 2 wiring plugs going into it, my guess is the hicas but need to know if it can be binned

good stuff mate, the dyno thing is confusing and thats part of the reason im getting mine done on a engine dyno, ill know the exact engine hp and torque to compare against the nornal dd run

rb20s are a very tough engine i tried and couldnt brake mine, so for up to 230-240rwkw with a 2530 or trust t51xx setup they are very goo and while lacking a little down low will rev to 8k all day. and cheap so if it breaks drop another in. for 5k you should if spent carefull fit a cooler, turbo, exh, fuel pump, injectors and get it remapped to suit, for 5k you will be lucky to fit a std rb25 engine, so if 10 was the budget then its a diff story

yes you could work out the stopping distance/time but there are many things that are required, weight, brake size, caliper dimensions, brake pad material and others as well i think, not worth the effort really same for the acceleration, many factors that affect the time and probably wouldnt be overly accurate

the abel abera rx7 uses 2 pwr water to air barrel cooler and runs methonal or similar, just becaust its a cooler burning fuel dosent mean it cant be run cooler into the engine. when they run extreme boost like those cars would there would still be alot of heat in the intake

Steve i think you will find that mallala is open most weekends for practice where you can go out and thrash around for a small fee but not everyday. you can hire the track out and do what you wont but the cost is a little over the top

yeah 600hp will never be a problem especially with arp bolts, but any you never know, you can get new rods for 1500 now so why bother, by the time you prep the rods and put new bolts in them, compared to selling you std ones and getting new ones you will be about $500 worse off, so if your building the engine do the rods

yes will fit fine, they are exactly the same size in length and big and little ends

the rb30 rods are a lot longer so they need to be much larger in area, but 350rwkw should be fine

lol, yeah a list is fine but adding the amount is scary

lines not to adr, to be adr they need little rubber covers over the end near the fittings, while the lines are prob very good youll get screwed over if you are defected
