  1. Now that the conversation has turned towards manufacturer service and honouring of warranty; the best I've seen are Super Spark & Yellow Jacket.
  2. Plenty of valuable advice above. Shazza, regardless of -ve or +ve gearing... * Would setting up a family trust (via Martin's accountant) help with paperwork should for example, any of them get brain damaged in an accident or through meningitis? * Otherwise would it be best if each child sets up a will as well as the parents? * Might it be best to buy a property that satisfies 2 criteria; a) good rental return (and demand) b) good capital growth?
  3. Noel :- Exactly my thoughts. Anyone who is positioned right behind him on any grid will be 'having kittens' > working out strategies on "when" to go left or right to overtake. I once had a client who was on the AIS swim team. He was a notoriously slow starter. He improved by .2sec off the blocks after a) playing pinball b) practising "columns" on a Sega machine c) playing table tennis He was still slow though - hypnotherapy only helped marginally - and never represented Oz.
  4. I like what you're saying Adam. Variables exist that can shorten the life of a coilpack. I've had other straight sixes (besides my RB) in the form of E46 and E39 BMWs. These cars have 6 separate sensors that tell you which coilpack is breaking down, and thus, which one to replace. And after replacing it, what's to say that same # coilpack might fail again before others do? Why? What if with an ageing engine the corresponding plug # keeps on oiling up? What if the corresponding loom # is losing its suppleness? In summation, why blame the whole brand when if a coilpack breaks down in an RB engine, we're forced to change the whole set? And even when you change brands, how do you know if it's the same coilpack # that breaks down first each time? And Adam mentions gapping - so there's another variable eh?
  5. ^^^ Very kind of you Anthony!
  6. iwanta34gtr fixed mine dry joints are in the sensor unit between the firewall and strut on the driver's side > Chris soldered them pronto
  7. If "J" doesn't appear, you can pick it up from Springwood or Earlwood (since you're local).
  8. Feb/Mar are big months for car thefts apparently.
  9. ^^^ SMS God_speed on 0404495329 *Edit > in fact call him on that number in case he's using ear plugs > vibrate
  10. You have two fingers on it Nick > two hands next weekend. Damn longest lay-by I've ever been party to.
  11. Well I'm willing to sell one $2K rim to each of 4 people and then watch Solomon sort it out.
  12. A top quality low Km R34 GT-R V-Spec II Nur can command an insured value of around $100K in 2013. That's not to say that it's easy to sell one above $80-85K on the private market though. Trivia:- Of the same era, the E46 BMW M3 has dropped to below $75K; but it's still hard to convince a M3 fan to switch across.
  13. Huy, * I didn't know your VS2 Nur was still for sale * I've referred 2 people last year to you * I don't know what happened to one of them * The other person bought a different R34 GTR and regrets it. * I'll PM a SAU Member this weekend about your Nur and hopefully "D" will make contact
  14. I was a timer in the morning for a Texi > Bodella was coming 2nd all morning with his brute Stag !!!!! Do you think the others could believe it???
  15. Yeah, men get it as crotch itch but they (unless gay or Drs) won't talk about it to other men > suffer in denial hehe Other symptoms are a type of tinea, foggy thinking, bad breath, blocked sinuses, post-nasal drip, bruise easily with slight bumps, rashes in sweaty areas, wind/flatulence, loose motions... Arises when antibiotics kill off the friendly gut flora > Candida comes up from the colon to reside > can cross the gut wall > systemically lodges into moist areas of the body Yeast, sugar, sweets, beer, wine, bread keeps the Candida flourishing > slows down metabolism too > weight gain.
  16. How are you keeping Scott? Hope you stay well!!
  17. You're very gifted in what you do Pete, along with your knowledge in plastics I've been extremely impressed at how you made up from scratch, these hexagonal caps for my LMGT4 GT500 wheels below! In fact, you were meticulous! Your dash modification is superb!
  18. Well this 300C has only been doing 4,800Km/year - so few!
  19. Observed Cultural Differences Years Ago (I don't know if anything has changed) * Hong Kong - Flash the lights > people move * Bangkok - Toot the horn > people move * Sydney - Flash the lights > people stay put * Sydney - Toot the horn > you cop middle finger * Sydney - Blast the horn > people brake hard * Sydney - Train Horn > people move
  20. Even whilst selling this beauty Grant, I do hope you'll find appropriate employment pronto!
  21. It cost me about $150 to mend the bolster on my R33 GTR I think. The trimmer did a perfect job.
  22. Tis my way of proving to myself that I don't quite have dementia yet But hey, can any good come out of my POS post? Only a reader can tell!
  23. Some Ayervedic meds are stand-outs. Others I regard as useless. The single one I use is so spectacular, SBS decided to film a special on it. NEEM * kills off Candida Albicans * nullifies Herpes Simplex and to a certain extent Herpes Zoster * prevents low blood sugar and diabetes 2 by helping insulin resistance - especially in conjunction with the herb, Gymnema Sylvestre * can kill forms of Staphyllcoccus Aureus but I'm not sure if it's able to knock off MR Golden Staph or VR Golden Staph (regarded as superbugs) Neem Indica - It's worth noting for yourself or a family member
  24. No worries! Positive Feedback on its way shortly > you deserve it!
