Yeh, I am there in Feb next year. I hope they don't mind throwing on their "F1 drivers are in town "outfits on for me

Valencia may not make for great racing but...
-
It was on slicks...seems a strange approach to testing...but probably just doing engine etc checks not susp work yet

Top RB20 Club... do you have over 260rwkw?
Roy replied to RBsileighty's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Its just a Nismo in-tank pump. Injectors are something or others around 800cc I think and for giggles Nismo fuel pressure reg. Nothing exotic about the fuel system at all. I am reading some of this stuff may not be E85 compatible but meh...I am also running 95 on the street so system is getting regularly flushed -
Bugger ! I am running one and it seems durable enough. It didn't do anything to improve performance over my old Trust manifold, (there is a little evidence that it hurt performance...so it certainly didnt improve by 300rpm like the consensus I got when researching) I know a few people running ETM and are happy with the service and quality. I have seen Brae manifolds on drift cars and the quality seems good and he is good at responding to queries as I am considering getting him to copy my old Trust manifold and going back to a 6-2-1 design vs the 6-1 6boost design

Hardly....but its is my No.1 pet hate! And yes SAU has been very fortunate with very few cases of this thing happening. IF he is taking the piss then hell and brimstone! If he has made an honest mistake and had some personal problems etc then buggertry and sort it out. But isnt sounding like it. I have been stitched up a few times on parts, probably to the tune of around 2.5 over the years!!!! I f**king HATE IT! And if he is in Campbelltown then he is well within the reach of the law

Save the money you are going to spend on cams and leave them std. They may improve performance but I have had experience with Apexi 260/9mm cams hurting performance and went back to std. Cam gears are a good option though Spend the extra $100-200 and get an ETM, 6boost or Brae manifold. Tried and tested... slippylotion...have to ask. I liked your pics...but do you have any affiliation with Kelway?...lol you are pushing them in every post. All for people vouching for good products but there is little in the way of results and arent they more expensive then 6boost etc...so well over the 1k option the OP is after? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=393128 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=393131 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=393129 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=393130 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=393132

Just a quick one...anyone had any work done by BSA recently? Have an address for the guy where stuff was dropped off or picked up?
-
Try dori34, I think he had some work done by him and may have an address. Those that have been stitched up...Get together and get the paperwork down to the police station. It helps if you know where he lives/works and take the time to go the local area station as that will push things along. If you make it easy for the Police you will get a result. Its when nobody has proof, or a one off case, in a different part of the state, nobody really knows the persons whereabouts etc that the Police have trouble finding the hours to chase them to ground.

Again, he sells cheap a55 turbos from his b'roo out of a suplier in god knows where. He thankfully buys out of a good enough factory somewhere in middle nowhere that generally quality isnt an issue. If you want a TD06 based turbo with good customer support then buy locally off ATP or GT Pumps etc.You pay the extra few bob over what the cost is out of the factory for their balancing, assmebly and service. LOL, I am still trying to find someone that can assemble my turbo with a nice shiny bullet nut...hopefully the 73HTA works well enough on the RB20 to convince me to try the 76HTA on the RB24 in which case will DEMAND I get my bullet nut

LOL, mine isnt a Kando But yeh, its not really different to the results others have achieved with E85 and 20G so doesn't really add to the discussion. With regards to Kane_R32, 19psi will bag you between 250-270rwkws depending on dyno and the mods you run. I have run a 10cm and an 8cm. There is no comparison and you HAVE to run an 8cm rear on the RB20! Go to a tuner that knows Nissans as years ago a Vic tuner gave me back a car with 220rwwks after installing a Power Fc which was less then I was making with the re-chipped Jap ECU. Another tuner gave me a very safe 235rwkws at 16 or so psi which last a good two years and then we tuned it for a bit more at 18-19psi and 260-275rwkws depending if it was on 98 or 100. I have run my 20G since 2003 and have not made under 250rwkws since 2005. I have 60,000kms on the setup and plenty of track days and tarmac rally evens under its belt....so the RB20 if in good health and tuned well will last forever. As per ARTZ' comment above I am currently makign 306rwkws out of my 20G with E85 on a completely std RB20 (though these days I run a Plazmaman plenum) Tuners don't want to blow up peoples cars and if like many they think an RB20 is a POS that cant safely make power then you will never get a good result and you need someone with experience with RBs and hopefully some decent power RB20s. So sounds like you need a Kando 8cm T3 housing to replace your current one and a tuner who can get the most out of your setup

Will be good to see a mint white R32 out there. Merli fell over at the finish line and I dont think he ever finished his

So what is the plans for this car again ?

Top RB20 Club... do you have over 260rwkw?
Roy replied to RBsileighty's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Yeh std 210,000km gearbox. I take it pretty easy with shifts and only run a spring centre puck Exedy clutch and only run top of the shelf Castrol gearbox fluid. I feel as though I am living on borrowed time at present with the engine and the box. It has served me well IF it goes the way of the Dodo. Hope not, would be funny if it hangs around for a little while longer and gets some improved track times to boot. -

Thought I would post the dyno run. Got Phillip island in 10 days, then play with trying to optimise boost with a controller. May throw the bigger turbo on to see if I cant get 330-340rwks out of the std RB20 I really have no idea how long its going to last at this boost and power, I was mega comfortable at 260-270 but I am kind of in uncharted waters here -
1.8mm from memory. Yeh, i think if you take a good welder who does welds in the biotech industry etc they will be able to fab a manifold that won't crack. I admit I am a bit stubborn on this point, but I have my reasons.

Should have called me as a super-sub Jeff. I have no trouble driving slow!
-
Also has a 1.06 A/R exhaust housing that softens the hit of torque (IMO)

Price change on the Gizzmo gear: Gizzmo Launch Interface (IGN Cut), Gizzmo Dual stage Shift Light, Adapter Loom for RB25 Very good condition. Will run on just about any RB. Comes with adaptor loom, original packaging and manuals. I am selling it as my new ECU will do all this for me and want to simplify the wiring behind my kick panel. Price: $350ono $310ono

Nice looking manifold. I wouldnt be fussed whether he makes his own collector or buys them, I just want someone to make one out of tube. Then we see how well they are fabricated and welded and it will be half the weight

Well I am getting my stock airbox today. Was going to put a 3" pipe into bottom and another into side with K&N air filter. I hope I am not spending $200 to lose power and response

I am staying up waiting for footage god dman it! LOL re the messy lap. At the Nats the lap where I upped the revs and gave it curry I was behind some R31 4 doors at the back of the circuit and it cost me a bit of time but turned out to be my fastest lap even though i was over driving . Now with my new cooler setup I am hoping I can get a few laps of 8,400rpm action without soaring temps as I need to build up to a lap over 2-3 laps. You know I cant help but wonder how quick you woudl be if we put my engine/setup in your car Re sump, spend the money on a good setup, if you ever need to rebuild the thing then a good oil system will be needed AND probably end up with your std engine lasting forever anyway. Chris does a rwd steel sump that is basically a copy of the RB26 track sumps. Otherwise you are looking at $1000 for the other options
