It wasn't a prototype one. It was custom by probably the same people doing the new one...so lets hope that the one they make up isn't the same and offers the same sump clearance as std

Just sell it Andrew. Will complete my Grp A car collection

So I can find the switches but cant find any associated plugs. I have given up trying to find the plug to suit my current switch so now happy to buy any suitable switch that I can get a matching plug for

I have tried a number of places to source a replacement plug for the thermo fan switch on my car but to no avail. I can find plenty of places that will sell thermostatic switche but cant find any places that sell them with loom plugs or any motorsport connection company that makes the appropriate plug. So anyone have an ideas for plugs for these styles of siwtches?

Be interesting to see how much quicker you are John. From what I read from EVO and WA buys those fancy yokie streets were only 0.2-0.5sec slower than RE55s. So I am guessing AO50s are about 1-1.5sec quicker than AO50s so guess you should be knocking close to 1.5-2.0 seconds off your times. I am at a loss over tyres. ..I suppose I will just have to sell more parts to fund the 2k it is going to cost for f**kign tyres. Its a joke that they are so expensive...the mark up seems a nice thing for them to be able to get away with. I know the Federals semis are about 20% cheaper and decent enough, but I guess if you are going to spend $1600 may as well spend 2k and have the best

Another R32 Money Pit
Roy replied to SimonR32's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
You need to buy these....over in Vic generally accepted as some of the better off the shelf shocks. Russ's car with similar power to you hooks up just fine. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/403331-tein-re-adjustable-coil-overs-suit-r32-gtst/ -
Jessica isnt a bad piece of tale, but for the tiem being I will take Mrs Romain . AND From Joe Saward... Meanwhile in Belgium, the Spa Grand Prix SA, the company which has been promoting the Belgian Grand Prix since 2006, under the leadership of politician/financier Etienne Davignon, is rumoured to be close to a new contract to secure the future of the race until after 2016. The current contract runs out after this year’s race and the locals hope that they can reduce the annual losses by getting a lower fee agreed. Reports suggest that they have asked for a reduction from $21 million a year to $19 million. The idea of the race alternating with the French Grand Prix has been dropped completely. The recent races at Spa have failed to attract big crowds, with losses each year in the region of $4-5 million. The local regional government has accepted these as the economic impact of the event is very important for the region. Although the current government will be in power until at least July 2014, the contract is for four years, from 2013 to 2016. There are also still hopes that the organisation of Spa can be restructured. At the moment there is the Intercommunale Spa Francorchamps, which owns the property, on behalf of the Liege province; the Societe de Promotion du Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (SPSF), a company owned and controlled by Wallonia region to run and develop the circuit and the Grand Prix company. There has been talk of merging these entities for years in order to streamline activities and the latest word is that this will now happen with the President of the Royal Automobile Club de Belgique (RACB) François Cornelis being put in charge. Cornelis is the former number two of the Total-Fina company, who retired from the oil company at the start of last year. He is also a member of the FIA World Council, thanks to his position as head of the Manufacturers’ Commission.

Harsh critics. I rate her highly as she isnt tarted/whored up and rather pretty natural looking...and that 3rd pic shows she is rather petite and ...well stunning body!

I know 3 cars that run one...admittedly two of those were from back around 2005 and tuning etc has come a fair ways since then. they were quick cars, one of them a 9 second car from Japan that only saw street duties so no dragstrip fan fare here in Aus as the owner kept to himself and just enjoyed it..but they worked real well on those two cars and a friends R34 runs one and it is an animal. I have been driving it a fair bit the past 5 months and frankly for a 400awkws 2530 powered car it is pretty impressive. I have no idea how much of its performance can be credited to the plenum, but seat of the pants tells me its quicker then other 2.6L 2530 cars I have been in. But my comment is pretty unsubstantiated seat of pants claim

No doubt...but sometimes people see a number, spend the money and cant match the result and end up disappointed after spending thousands. Maybe I am wrong, but quoting E85 figures without specifying E85 can lead to disappointed people. I know I was disappointed when I couldnt match others results with 6boost manifolds, Plazmaman inlets and to an extent E85 results. I didnt really make any more power with E85 running the same boost pressure. What it did allow is me to run more boost and make more power when 98 stopped making grunt at 19-20psi. But much of that is probably associated with being a 20 So this thread is full of good results, but after years of people confusing 20G with 25Gs, T67s with T66 turbos etc...its good we now have a good database of power the Mistu turbos can make...so helps to keep the occasional qualifications on results ( IMO )

Just get in touch with local real estate agents. There are loads of holiday places down there. I have hired a few , others more up market places...all are great and have respective strengths. I stay at a friends place these days and pay rent to his family which suits me fine. But it can make sense to get 10-12 people together and make a weekend of it like SAU used to back in the day in 2004-2005 How did the car go?
-
LOL, of course there are no rules. But since E85 gives a bit of free power, until E85 is as common as 98 vs 95 its probably not a bad idea to just qualify the power results as people reading this will start to get stars in their eyes with regards to power they can make. LOL, sure as sh1t not many people will be able to bag 306rwkws out of a std RB20 running a 20G...difference being no RB20 punters bother running E85
-
Probably shoudl qualify that and say it was on E85 which is cheating. I am yet to see enough results to think you can get 300rwkws out of a 20g on 98. 280rwkws is about what I think you can get out of a 20G. Can bag an extra 30rwkws with E85. These days you almost need to talk about fuel before the boost level required
-
What is the car used for? As others have said, the std inlet seems to be a pretty good thing. But at these power levels I am not aware of too many people doing credible back to back comparisons with the likes of Hypertune, Greddy, Nismo etc etc. If I was going to change I would go Greddy if I had over 400rwkws
-
While we are talking about Lotus drivers lady friend my boy Romain just tied the knot....and he did himself proud with a French TV bird He gets my thumbs up...better than the thing I was trying to tune up after tonight's Hawthorn game

The car has probably had 95% of its life being built and only 5% being driven and dialled in. So I dont think they will look silly if they don't win. Sure they could fall from the sky and be the quickest and win it or they could do an amazing job and be 1-3seconds off a very fast pace...no crime in that. Good on them for putting their money behind their ideas and concepts but.....like you its just not for me. I think the NEMO EVO is one of the cars that I read was designed by Andrew Brilliant and claims 1,000kg of downforce That is amount for a tin top if realised! I just hope the incredible spend doesnt stop the car from being developed and races in months/years to come. Its a shame that none of the R35s that ran in Pro last year are racing again this year Personally I am rooting for the lil GT3 Exige. I understand it actually has some hp now so hopefully fly the rwd flag in Pro class along with the UAS HMAS ZED
-
As impressive as they are for the design, commitment and spend I find some of the extreme cars horrible to look at. Which is fine, I don't own them and they are designed to go uber fast, not be pretty. I would personal;y sacrifice a bit of speed to have a car that is more "garage jewellery" spec But I am curious how much of the extreme stuff is functional aero, we are not talking about Pikes Peaks cars which need uber downforce due to low friction surface and generally average speed less then 130km/h. Someone was telling me a car generates 1000kg of downforce! I cant see that being right, as thats more than an F1 car! So I think some numbers get thrown around and people dont stop to consider the merits of the claims.

Harden up and rip the doors off and just tape some drop sheets across the opening
-
Come strip mine down this weekend...I would love to get mine down to around 1250kg with no fuel. But will still need carpet and radio etc for street duties
