  1. I would be guessing...i will say though that if you are running HKS Hypers they have pretty high rates to start with and not sure putting a different spring on them is really going to give a good result. I would personally even out the swaybars with the same brand out back....and save your money for some better shocks which come with the valving to suit spring rates suitable for slicks.

I am a bit nervous about handing the car over to people. New car itis and the first person to have touched it and charged me good money has hacked it up a little. I can do that with the best of them and it wont cost me anything. So , figure this will be a back to my youth thing and will do it all myself. Thanks for your advice though. I still need to buy the speakers and subs so may swing by a few places this weekend and listen to a few brands/models
  10. If i got close to that car I am pretty sure I would fiddle with it in an inappropriate manner
  11. That is one hell of a sexy man standing in the background of that pic
  12. LOL...oops, typo. Point being my car boils fluid, so its getting over 200deg c. When I typed that I was thinking brakes and boiling brake fluid. Brad, understand that they are nose heavy but I would have thought that you would still want to move as much weight to between the uprights, or alternatively as close to the axle lines as possible to reduce the polar moment of inertia. A fuel tank with 1/2 - 2/3 tank of fuel is going to be 30-50kgs. Moving it forward may move the CoG a fraction....but from a vehicle dynamics perspective?
  13. I am reading that those that have been on the waiting list in the UK are starting to get their turbos delivered (8374). Supply is talked of improving around April. Anyone who has their turbo on back order hearing anything along these lines. I need to sort software for my Pectel ECU and then hoping to get one of these
  14. Anyone out there wanting to try an internal gate TD05-18G on their RB20, and worried about boost control. It looks like I will have my rear housing left over from when I throw my Trust rear housing on it. So if you find you are having boost control we can mill out my spare one to see if it improves boost control, power and response like i suspect it will
  15. I have emailed him again but may just order if i dont hear from him. Peoples thoughts on the11 blade turbine vs 12 blade?
  16. Has anybody else heard a response from an email to this address? I am still wanting to buy my TD05 and running out of time to have it on before Jan track dasy
  17. Re an R32 fuel tank, one thing I am considering in a few years time when my car is further down the road of track only is an alloy fuel tank which is only 35L and sits tight to the diff/axle. So effectively cut a std fuel tank in half length wise and limit the mass overhang behind the rear axle. Along with the front suspension change from R32 to R33/34 the fuel tank position is about the other major design improvement. I am trying to convince a friend to give it a go in his R32 track car The other thing I will am doing is sourcing an R34 PS pump, smaller, lighter then the 4WS hydraulic pump in the R32, only will need to hold off until the 26 crank and harmonic balancer go into my car due to the different belts they use. When I do this I want to go for a banjo bolt and braided installation to a custom PS reservoir. My thinking is that since PS rcks use brake fluid, and track work boils PS fluid, then the custom alloy PS reservoir may as well have water cooling coil in it.Will need to consider the length of coil needed inside the PS reservoir, may be easier to join a few std PS coolers together and throw them up front behind the IC
  18. All sorted and good questions. I got a few different stories on what I cn and cant do with a pre 89 import that doesnt require compliance and doesnt have a Pink Slip. But got it sorted in the end

Well weld me up a titanium exhaust like on your car. By the way I am calling your car Beelzebub Blah, blah..its a hatch not a coupe/sedan. So like a 180SX a lot of noise etc comes from the rear and echos around off the glass and the old std shelf. So will be installing a new shelf and sound deadening so may as well throw some speakers back there to try and dull the noise...and with an old school, heavily compromised front...I dont have any good locations for speakers, or even doors thick enough to take a decent sized magnet etc. So need the rear to help as much as it can Others, thanks for the tips. Hopefully car will have rego in the next 2 weeks and will get something sorted and speak with Freeway Car Audio.
