Trouble, in the morning sessions I used to shirt shift and only use part throttle on boost on the front straight. It was hard to go any quicker then 1:28-1:30, but was good opportunity to check tyre pressures and get some practice on lines etc in. Then after the lunch sessions normally i would get two sessions in. If they EPA ewre still around i would be warned then kicked off....but that only happened twice. Generally they are gone after the morning sessions and you then have the afternoon to go as hard as you dare. Thats part of the reason with the new setup i am going plumb back. Not sure if its going to help sincei have a titanium exhaust, but the second or so morning session is normally the quickest session of the day and its good to get 4-5 proper sessions in rather then waste the morning by tootling around

And if you are buying tyres shoot me an email. I will be back in July for a wedding ...so if we buy three or 4 sets it would be great if we could get them for 20 or so less a tyre. What are they these days for a 255/40/17 and 245/45/17? $400???

Oh you dont want me to start on other bad experiences. I could take you through them and they are batting a 60% poor average. So thats 2 out of 5 that were good. I am 34 and have rented in 2 different states. My sample group is almost enough to support a statistical trend

I am tempted to give the keys to Handbags, Russ, Chris or you....or really want to give them to Riverdance to see if the car is any quicker these days and with a different pilot. But then I think fark that, it would be even ore painful watching others drive it whilst I am away People will get my keys when i get the keys to their bus. Hope Handbags parks that Peevo and brings out the Big Ginger Ninga on slicks! I suppose Chris may want to punt his car to see if he can beat his best, if not Russ in a GTSt will be quicker then his best soon

Alr33x, rather then try and defend the industry which is flawed, you should embrace it and all its flaws and just go abotu doing your work honestly. You claim you do, great. The second scenario is bang on the money. They insist on automatic debiting from my account, cool with me. I handed in notice at the end of the month, my billing period is in the middle of the month. They automatically take it, i dont pay it. So half way through the 28 day period they deducted the next billing period from my account. About 4 days after they deducted the sum from my account the keys were returned and 2-3 days after that the inspection completed and everyone happy. So they had access to the property well before the end of the 28 days as like i said, some friends wanted to move in and i am OS, so in the interest of helping everyone out...got the show rolling So they shouldnt have paid the full amount to the Landlord and if they did i am well within my rights to ask they front the cash until the landlord makes good with the cash? Will roll with that next time i speak with them

Yeh, but trolling is fun and at least a few posts here made me giggle when today on site I was so pissed off for a number of reasons, this issue back home is jsut compounding the crap i have on my plate. When i get my money back i am thinking about re-investing it into fat-o-grams and lots of porn bought off the internet delivered to the agents office Money well spent if you ask me So provided i can hassle and drive the agent to lodge the form with RTBA this week (or confirm a date it was lodged) can anyone offer an opinion on the rent balance owing to me. SO money was taken out of my account, two weeks of it were for the period after the notice expired and keys were handed back and inspection completed. Actually keys and inspections were all done well before the 28 days notice expired. So what is the process for the money being refunded to me? Would the agent be paying me, processing paperwork or could they be chasing the landlord as monies were maybe already paid to him/her? I have no idea who to be pissed off with on this one, other then the usual lies and it was menat to be paid to me 3 weeks ago!?!? ylwgtr2, care to fix me up a special can of coffee for these muppets

Alr33x, I did read what you posted....LIke i sad posts ago, I apologised for the slander of the whole industry! But don't make the mistake of thinking this is restricted to one bad dealing. My frustration is it seems that whilst you reacted to my remark, your thinking and reaction is typical of the industry. Which is why i hate the situation I am in, being civil and polite seems to get you nowhere as there is no respect for the fact that they are controlling thousands of my money. I could be a shit kicker, doesnt really matter. Its funny you mention Doctors, lawyers etc. At first people wouldnt see how the industries are remotely related. But i tell you what, they are related in that they are dealing with people when they are vulnerable, dependant on others or there are large sums at play...all can be emotional tims so all you can ask for is transparency to what is going on. Not be told lies. Your remark about holding onto their money to get back at them shows the apathy the industry has regarding the fact they are controlling peoples money and often well being. It seems i need to scream and carry on, so next week i might have to do that if i am lied to one more time. I wasnt out for the detabte either so... Getting back to the fun though ...You know how I know I am right? I will tell you. When I am wrong I actually know what I am saying is wrong. Since I know I am wrong then I am right about being wrong. So I AM always right! That is the sort of logic that the industry uses At least with all the shit canning i can get a laugh, even if for the time being its a pretty expensive laugh. ...and cardboard boxes are great. ALl these wealthy folk buying these big TVs use to be good. But with plasmas and LCD TVs these days they just dont have the depth they used to. Its ok thought, Fridges are bigger then ever and those boxes work well when sealed up with tape and silicon. Means i will have to give my GTSt to a person of questionable sanity as i wont be able to get insurance without a garage Oh well, i need to spend a few nights in the local Indian slums to get used to it. There are people that probably wish they had a lease and a real estate agent to complain about

If you are one of the good ones out there then hats off to your colleagues make your whole industry look like a zoo! So, more recent background so you can understand why I am so pissed off and at war with everyone at present. In this particular case I like my apartment, and when handed in my notice I gave the agents/landlord two other names of people who wanted to rent the apartment. So there was no advertising, the new applicants a drafting engineer and a lawyer so it was all spoon fed up to them. As i know these people they noticed that the new lease that they were about to sign had me as the owner! LOL, great work, i was the ex tenant, not the owner/landlord. When they pointed this out they had to return at a later time to sign the contracts. At which time there was another hiccup to which the agent said "oh the old tenant did a runner mid lease and left us in a hole on this one" Lies, lies, lies. Why would they make this sh1t up???? Cant't they carry a conversation about the weather, or if they need to lie about why they are so disorganised then best remember that the people signing the lease know the person they are telling porky pies about and know what they are saying is false? So meh, need to get over it as its driving me mad! On a ighter note...o you want to get into statistics, how many people rent?Isnt it something like 25-30% of the population rent? Something like 30% have loans on their own property and 35% own their property outright? So by those numbers about 1 in 3 are douchebags like me. How many people in the workplace are Estate Agents. I am guessing 1-2% maxish???? SO my generalisation is calling a good number of those in the dopes., so 1 in 100. Your generalisation calls out 1 in 3! So my gross generalisations are less gross then yours? Dont you like what you can do with numbers. LOL, best wait until I am back in Austrlalia and come job my in the nose! My rude remarks are right on the money based on my experiences at present! So many people taking the piss at present, if I was Postal Worker there would have been blood shed by now!

What do i do for a leaving? Not sure, usually open the door and walk out. Sometimes leave the door open behind me as i was born in a tent. Oh, you mean living. I am a qualified Mechanical Engineer, I am in India at the moment doing drug trials in the vaccine facility i spent the last two years building. Does that make me an idiot, a loser, better or worse then anyone else? Mind you if i knew estate agents throught tenants were all scum and lower then life becaus we dont own homes... like somehow that makes us better or worse then other people and because we are all scum we dont deserve to get the usused rent and our bonds back...then i would not have bothered with making the polite calls to understand the delay. But now that i understand we are all lower then low, i will just go back to waiting as i understand that poor real estate agents have to manage personalities like 99% of other professionals in the work place. I should just go back to being thankful that they talk to me at all! I work in a service industry and enjoy dealing with people in a civilised manner....hence why i get SO PISSED OFF WHEN PEOPLE TAKE THE PISS! And in this case I am pretty sure they are taking the piss. But thanks, i now understand its just a waiting game and will just continue to follow it up with weekly courtesy calls to se how it is all going. Oh, and why have i not bought a house? Well never wanted to own a place or live in the one place for too long. I cant wait to buy a place now, because as a person looking to buy it sounds like i am jumping a social class or two...oh hang on. I will be an ex-renter so probably still scum And if you are so offended by somebody being pissed off with an individual in your industry then I take it you are aware of some of the people in your industry being useless. If my swipe at thiwving carnt agents was too generalised then i apologise and rephrase it to "my thieving carnt agent" edit Thats how i see it! I should ad I do. I take pride in my name and how i keep a place. All i ask is that the PM keep up their end of the deal. Sounds fair to me.

This is the 6th week! I have emailed the RTBA to understand if they have received it! Lazy carnt real estate agents love people like me. We pay on time, look after the place like its our own, dont make noise re things the place needs, dont damage the place. Then we wait, and wait, and dotn make unreasonable demands...as where does that get you. It gets you shit listed as the type of idtiot you describe above. So YES THEY CAN GET FARKED IF THEY ARE LAZY AND POOL EVERY TENANT TOGETHER and have some sort of superiority complex for being asked to do their job. Hell I am not even askign them to do their job in a timely manner, just in the time frame they describe! They asked me to print the form out and complete it for forwarding to them, so am waiting for their signature and lodging Correct forwarding address, correct bank details for the payments , yep. It only took me 10 minutes to download, print, sign and pdf to email to them. (whish was their instruction)

Had been on month to month for about 8 months after having rented there for over 5 years. So no lease to break. The bond inspection went perfectly fine. I spent over $1000 having carpets, walls, glass and blinds all professionally cleaned after they had been given the once over as part of moving out. So the property inspection went perfectly fine with the exception of a $45 item which i promptly paid for by eft into the Estate Agents account to rectify. So there is no way they can be using that as an excuse to be sitting on their hands! It kills me how lazy some agents are. In over 5 years, never was late once with rent. They repaired a blind that was damaged via wear and tear and I never made noise about things that i requested them to fix but never did, i just copped it. Seems being a good natured tenant doesnt really get you anywhere, it seems when it comes time to pay back what you are owed they assume you again wont kick up a fuss....by the way they are still to refund the portion of my monthly rent that was deducted from my account as part of the std rent payment, but after the period of notice and subsequent vacating of the apartment. So there is no typical time line? I have to sit and wait and contiunue to make $8-12 calls from overseas to resolve this? Anyway, god help the next person I rent with. I am going to burn that place to the ground with a going away party. At least that way i get value for the ~4k of money donated to these muppets

Oh, as a general rule Real Estate agents are lazy, thieving carnts. Make no mistake. I suspect they have been too lazy to sign and submit the form so suspect that is why I am still waiting

Hey people, i moved out of an apartment recently and it is takign longer then I anticipated for my Bond to be returned. In the past i remember it did take a while, biut don't recall it taking this long. Anyone else gone through the whole bond return thing lately? How long did it take? Had a look in the Residential Tenancies Bond Authority website but couldn't find amy link to typical timing

Webber should leave if the season goes to sh1t. If he wins the WDC he should stay and gloat...it will drive Seb crazy! If Webz wins and Seb comes 2-4th, I wouldnt be surpirsed if he has a dummy spit and leaves at the end of 2011. Can you imagine if Ricciardo gets the STR call up in 2011 and at 35 teams up with Webz at RBR! Complete dream, but Vettel is only contracted to RBR as a driver, not the Red Bull the company. He is free to shop around if out of contract, or if Mercedes etc want to buy his contract to replace Schuey. Would love to see Webber win, and just hang around for another season and drive Vettel up the wall and use the confidence and maturity to watch Vettel explode. LOL, but thats a dream too. Vettel isnt tht stupid and his advisors and team will be in his ear and getting him to calm down and grow up and get his season back on track. RBR can easiliy win another 5-6 of the upcoming GPs, thats a lot of points!

Eek. PI is pretty scary when the weather is changable. Slick in parts but ok in others leave me with no idea of grip levels. Better when it just poors and its slippery everywhere Hope you didnt have too much fun in your road car, you may find it starts getting parts of the race car ...and that means the race car stays a statue in the back yard
