  1. My god ... how close is it? Has anyone got anything up their sleeve. RBR or Alonso look the goods for the front two rows
  2. See post 1721! I thought Kubz could pull a surprise this weekend Come on you gorgeous man you!
  3. LOL, thats the reason i will keep my 32 and never part with it. When i am bored of the std 20 or blow it up I will copy murrayis and throw all the Tomei 2.4L internals i have waiting in storage into it. I will probably be 40 by then so hopefully can afford the price of an RB rebuild by then (I am not joking about the age thing )
  4. Any pictures or more info on the head? Who did the work, flow figures, std valves etc? Was the combustion chamber opened up to suit the larger bore of the RB24 or will it still work on a 20?
  5. LOL, if it comes with those options put me down for one too I have a plazmaman being installed at the moment along with my 6 boost mani. I am so, so , so keen to see the results and get home to drive it. I am OS and cant play with this stuff myself so share your frustration over having trouble finishing things you start
  6. I hope the Hypertune manifold includes hand jobs and coke of the belly of Russian hookers....or at least multi throttles. Otherwise its a lot of money for something that is likely to make very little difference on your setup....thats just gut feel. But AWESOME that you are having a go and throwing some good quality parts at the engine!
  7. I just hope it doesnt suck eggs like last years GP. But i suppose we have had some crackers of late so due for a crappy race. Wonder what Kubz can pull out of te bag for this weekend.
  8. Std on R32s there are ducts that go from the front lower lip of the spoiler. They also use guides on teh castor rods. From there Nismo made uber guides which a number of aftermarket examples are available. UAS seem to make a local equiv. http://www.nismo.com.au/pricelists/pricelist_gtrbrakes.htm
  9. I cant say semis make much of a difference on my car, I made 260rwkws with RE55s. I know my car had an electrical fire in teh cabin on the dyno...so not quite tyre smoke but smoke all the same.
  10. If they fit behind 16 Enkei wheels they are most likely the 332 x 32 mm rotors. The mod to the hub is likely the little 6mm tapped hole that sits there for god knows what reason that sometimes clashes with the radial mount. They are a good thing provided the rotors are in good shape the seals not worn.
  11. Cool, proves you can get a good result with the right parts, not just the name brand parts. Some of the Hypergear turbos are doing a good job on the little CAs and RB20s
  12. Spill the beans on the specifics of the setup Looks pretty reasonable response for the power
  13. When i need a nav I am going to charm the local rippers and see if i cant at least get a lass who really knows the true meaning of servicing during a rally!
  14. I almost wrote off my turbo diesel Golf driving the coastal road in Scotland on the weekend. Got pretty lucky so figured i should stick with just typnig shit on SAU rather then try any sort of tarmac driving
  15. You are punting that car SOOOOO hard. Max cudos. Are you still running the Apexi suspension and GTR brakes?
  16. Forget the delays, I dont mind delays from accos as some other poor bastard is struggling more then me. Oil and breakages are frustrating though....just hope ppl dont bend them as they have a habit of costing the earth to fix Shame to read you are expecting crappy weather, was hoping that the GTSt guys would get into the 21-22s
  17. FARK YEH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. Which raises the question....what car?
  19. My god, you look committed punting through those corners, especially into the braking zones......or should that simply read you should be committed?
  20. I think Mark was on the gun strategy for Canada. I think they all assumed they would have got more out of the first set of hards...getting the softs on last fro a run on a gripped up track was the place to be, especially if you had to make up places for a grid penalty. But traffic was terrible. If you were watching th elive timign you would have seen everyones times bouncing all over the place. Webber was affected more because at the time he was flying solo. When a guy racing sees a single car come up and gets the blue flag he does at a very opportune place so that his race or position is not compromised. When you have Alonso, Hamilton, Button and Vettel all marching up on you they tend to move over easier as teh train comes through Still, not a bad weekend for Webz, and I have to say great weekend for Louise Homoton
  21. Cool, my new setup is going plumb back as well. So sick of only getting 2-3 sessions in at a track day. Cool to see you park that awd abomination and punt the R32 again
  22. Hopefully the Aussies can hand it too Ze Germans! Whilst i understand why Webber had to stay out as long as possible, but what happened to their pace in the last 10laps. Webber seemed to be shadowing Vettels poor pace. Did thye both have car problems> Did BBC have anything to say about it. I will repeati hate ESPN coverage, the commentary is just so bad
  23. I did like how with 6 laps to go Hamilton just turned up the wick to show "i can carry a car and it has pace at the end". He had the pace and showed that after a long stint...his car was quicker then Hamilton. Impressive race by Hamo
  24. Yeh, i think Webber was holding on as long as posible knowing he had the option to switch to and needed to amke that stint as short as possible. I think there were hoping that the others had to pit. But the interesting thing was Vettels problem, Webber with fresher tyres seemed to button it off to hold the gap so eith erhad asimialr problem to Vettel or was told ot hold station. The last few laps of Vettel were 3-5 seconds off the pace and Webber should have had him.... Would have put him a closer 3rd to Button. So well done to McLaren, they are hanging around and now have got the car pace. Can RBR respond? I dont think they will have a chance at Silverston based on the Macs new found speed
