  1. Jesus Farking Titty Christ! That is quick for the dry and STOOOPID in the wet. Beauty of owning that car for so long and having driven it in all sorts of conditions
  2. They are right to have concerns over safety if i rocked up in an R500
  3. Out of interest, the Z-Tune gets pooled with the Modern boys? Correct? Is it the year model plus performance of the car? If you start running these tuner, limited build cars like ATTKD, Mines etc does that mean you get thrown in with the Modern guys instead of Early Modern? Has anyone ever run something like a Caterham R500? Have to be mad doing it in an open top car....but ???? Did anybody excpect the R35s to be a little more competitive. Given the conditions i thought they may have had a beter result...not to say they didnt do briliantly!
  4. This isnt Nam...there are rules Snowie. You would be better off speaking to Mark and Russ about the CNJ R34 they are building on an orders basis. Its a std R34 with a few optional bits. May have to do something about ride height but thats the only probem you will have
  5. If I am racing then it means i am trying to win. If i am seriously trying to win i want there to be some sort of basis to the rules so that i have a chance. Doesnt have to be at every track and in all conditions. But a chance. Drive what you brung is what is fun about open track days and sprints and Superlap is about. If i was going to the trouble of competing in a series....i want rules and woul dhope competitors generally follow them
  6. Dont run 12/10....you have to admit you are in the minority for liking so much spring in a GTSt Its as much about the quality of the shocks and its ability to control the spring. No offence to ISC N1s, just like many other shocks for the money would not handle such high spring rates well or or long without boiling the fluid in them...assumign they work with the rate in the first place. I would personally work in the 8/6 range myself, max. Thats assuming you like a stiffly sprung car
  7. Mental note, stick with fun club stuff....i would only bin my car trying to do what they do anway Unless someone leased me their car then it would be on good hands!
  8. You shouldnt break rules for reliability. Not on a multi day tarmac rally where reliability is probably a bigger performance advantage then speed. But if its a safety thing then understand you should be able to address something going astray at speed But if i ran an RB25 out of Stagea in my GTR because i couldnt afford a rebuilt RB26, i wouldnt really expect anyone to complain. Just like if I had an R34 GTR and i ran 17" rims and semi slicks rather then 18s....if i am running a cheaper part on the car from an older or lesser model....then you shouldnt be penalised for hurting the performance of your car My main objection to the Snowy thing is the guy that protested was i dont think he was ever in the hunt?? I only realy paid attention on the weekends results...so could understand if someone that was on the podium or had a sniff of a result ... its like if i ran and came bottom 50% and protested all the cars ahead of me that had small things wrong with them which have debtable performance benefits.
  9. Man, hand over 20k and i think you could build some wickedly fun and reliable GTSt to tarmac rally cars for 200k total. Can call them TBR TRCS ! That is Two Bens Racing... Tarmac Rally Cheater Spec!
  10. Nah, forget Racepace GTRs, all GTR owners are tattle tales. I am waiting for Two Bens Racing to build a spare GTSt for me so we can go one make racing
  11. Cheers! Have some 17" TE37s (9.5" R and 9" front) in satin black with some metallic grey flake or something through it. They will be going on when the car gets back from the mechanics in a month or so. (Brakes, manifolds, exhaust, tune etc) If a few things go my way then the car will be doing some pretty cool and special things later this year...otherwise it will just be sitting in storage whilst I am away
  12. So if its a case of being like the RX-8 and have to build at least, 10 was it? I would liek to know who owns the other 9? Or is a matter of producing a bit of paperwork showing that you have built and sold 9 to people, complete with fictional orders, receipts etc....which of course dont match what the ATO see Meh, im just bored and a witch hunt is so much more fun the reviewing Batch Records at work
  13. I love a bit of a bun fight! Next years Attkd, or is HAKKD cars will run RB30s with sequential 6 spds and more carbon parts. With E85 they should be able to get almost std throttle response from GT-RS and 450rwkws. Print out some more protest paperwork before the event and give it a real go next year
  14. Cheeky, so is he sponsored by Just Jap or is he one of the owners?
  15. aaahahaha, .... ahhhhhhh. The world will never run out of people who gag on cock! I will send some flowers and a teddy bear to Just Jap when they get back. Also send a tube of anusol to help him with his little problem! OH now i so wish i was there right now, I would go out of my way to either be on the same plane or boat as him, i would get a belly im me, so really, really annoying and give him plenty of shit! I suppose if you are driving a cheater spec limited build of 10 Attkd or whatever its called, you wouldnt understand the reason behing running an $800 used R33 box rather then a $4,500 6spd.
  16. Once upon a time there was this big island, well away from all the other oil producing countries. They had this real dumb government running the show, but that didnt matter the country prospered anyway. They had all the natural reserves of oil and gas they could ever need. The problem was how do we get it out of the ground? That would call for investment and infrastructure, most likely requiring govt initiatives....all seemed a bit too hard. Only every other developed country was doing it, but seemed to hard for the Aussie govt. So, it was decided the smart thing to do would be to sign over all the oil to foreign producers with the agreement that they supply the local market, but to make it worthwhile they can also export the oil, and the Australian people will pay global prices for barrels of oil, (a higher price) I think that was some of the greatest governance ever by a political party!
  17. Good on him! If i was in the jury i would let him walk!
  18. And finished first! SAU win rookie and early modern!
  19. No clutch means they are crawling and the 944 is mobile again...unless its a bigger problem
  20. 20B long wheel base version ... DO IT!
  21. But i read they are mobile again! And may be safe as have a wounded car chasing them
  22. Thats a biog accident. I jus found a telecast of the race and the first thing i see is Bargz park it and Safety Car comes on to the track. What calls comes over the radio to Tander? Keep up it, Safety car is out...then he pounds out a lap then at full speed just etches out the cars leavign the pits under the safety car. So blatant, yellows and SC mean nothing to the teams.
  23. Well, sometimes it pays to get out of bed ... 12:56pm - Early Modern leader Gavin James, #736, has stopped at the start of the Tarraleah stage with mechanical problems. Poor Tim and Gavin, but happy days for Smaug!
  24. Any pics of Scotsmans piss poor fending abilities as co-pilot of Tree Killer Smaug? ..no worries. Found a pic. Hope Jesus didnt scratch my new cursed helmet!
  25. I occupy space and waste oxygen OS, not much work going on here!
