  1. Nope , this is Webber's weekend! His starts the last few GPs have been good {i hope}
  2. Same basic spec cars, about the same power, so i thought it would be a reasonable example that there is nothing weak about the 6 spd, nor did Nissan engineer down the quality of the drivetrain or later models. With no Grp A like in teh R32 days, and JGTCC so removed from road cars, i suspect Super Taikyu had even more importance to Nissan with the R34
  3. Its funny, the R34 when it ran in the Ring 24hr races etc in Falken war paint, i recall it always had issues with turbo failures. Not gearbox. But more importantly, Nissan are very competitive in their domestic market racing so Nismo are running around in the Super Taikyu series. Dont recall reading that it struggled with gearboxes, and there were several teams in the Super Taikyu series runnign R34s with std gearboxes...Falken, Endless amongst others and the GTRs did very well.
  4. You lucky bastard! Let me know when you do a Spanish girl in an uncomfortable place
  5. Your little buzz box is so cool!
  6. Any footage from Stu's R32?
  7. Well if anyone can crush the 9 year record of wins from pole its my man Mark
  8. FARK YEH!!!!!
  9. Come on Webz, 4 mins to go and his first attempt lit up all sectors
  10. Come on Webz, my Crystal Ball, the one i got from a $2 shop says Mark will top Q1, Q2 and Q3. Win from Pole and take fastest lap Ben...they bolted softs on for the last run
  11. So did the BBC mention if the RBRs and McLarens were on the same tyres. Farking ESPN coverage stinks, waffle on about stuff that doesnt matter..hehe like me
  12. Really? If only they were 18s
  13. OK, can we go past RBR for front row lock out? My key points of interest are where Schuey ends up and how Sutil goes
  14. Gee, w wonder why thats the case. Wouldnt have anything to do with the fact that they have agood KERS system from last season and are currently building their own turbocharged V8 road cars McLaren still suck for dogging my man DC for all those years so that HACK Finn could win a race or two...maybe a few championships as well
  15. Just watched the coverage of the event on the Asian ESPN coverage, the kiwi actually came 3rd
  16. ...do you want to go back there Duncan? The thread can be a like the 2008 F1 thread with M3GTR just repeating the same thing every post! I am happy to go on posting my opinions (informed or otherwise ?!?!) on the matter but pretty sure people want to move on
  17. At first it seems that Vettel was way quicker on P3...but wait, seems the young punk didnt see the yellows in sector 2! Hope he doesnt get penalised, but what it means is he isnt light years quicker then the others
  18. Especially on R32s that like to do handstands
  19. He only renewed a two year contract, this year being the second. As long as Webber is backing up Vettel and getting points and podiums then i think his seat woudl be safe at RBR. If he replicate of improve on last seasons performance then i dotn think that will be a problem. Until his run of piss poor results, stop gos at Spa, crashes etc he had a very good first half of the season. He needs to now be consistant the mid to latter part of this season. Anyway, its all been said before and only time will tell. In my eyes the real test will be if RBR miss out on the Constructors title, will they be looking at Webber's performance as the reason. SO far this year, he made a qualy mistake in Bahrain and then got dicked by shared strategy in Australia and China. I dont think the team would be looking to lynch him as being the reason why they are where they are. Hell he led China and Aus but was dogged in Aus by the teams pit calls.
  20. If, buts and excuses aside, with the exception of qualy in Bahrain, Marks pace has been as good as Vettels...throw wet race lottery into the mix. Vettel could have just as easily had 3 wins this season. But Webber could have had two, China where they made a mess of the calls and went midpack trying to recover and In Malaysia where he was too kind to Vettel. I am sure a team owner who understands the game would find a seat for Webber if he was available...the other thing is would he be interested in a lesser seat after occupying them for all those years? I think he could walk away as well...but no way can i see Kimi coming back
  21. Really? Looking at some vids with teh 5spd it looks like it is often stuck between either ringing its neck in 2nd gear going nowhere in a realy hurry between bursts and 3rd where it is a little doughy....would have thought the 6 spd 3rd would be handier for all the 60-80km/h corners/switchbacks. So, I look because in a pipe dream i would love to cut off the transfer case and run a Getrag behind the RB20...but i am full of all sorts of strange ideas Anyway, my last post on the matter, i think enough has been said, especially by folk like me who know everything about nothing
  22. But hitting on 16yr old school girls is illegal too Count. Doesnt stop some!
  23. Feels like its been months but we start back up today. Webz year could well be over. Spain will crash and burn with its economy now depending on Alonso getting a win at home...and everybody still saying Vettel is fav for championship whilst Mclaren collect points and win races. Suspect this will be the GP where Hamo and Alonso muscle onto the podium. Lets see how old man Schuey goes this weekend with his drift spec, overtseering F1 car
  24. You should be making 20psi well before 5,500rpm. What ECU and who tuned it?
  25. What is the weight of the Argo rods vs stock?
