  1. They clean up the airflow at the rear of the car and reduces drag
  2. I need to sell as i have already ordered the correct rotors for the rear of my car.
  3. Whatever tyre came std on STIs on the old model STIs is a good thing. I think they are Bridgestone RE050s, they are what i have on th eback now and they are plenty grippy and a very good tyre. I think they may have been replaced by RE01s, at the end of the day they are similar prices to semi slicks but are better wearing, quieter and better in the cold and wet
  4. Cool cars are British, economical cars are Japanese, wanker cars and Italian and Pretentious cars German. Lotus/TVR etc are the way to go Provided the Exiges entered are road cars or mass produced shells that are hotted up with parts, engines and components then that is way cool by me. My only concern is if cars are ex race GT cars that have been purchased and modded then they are at too large an advantage. The fact that std they are 1,000kgs with 250hp means that they are perfect for this sort of event and should not be penalised. Hell, in my books i am amazed there are not more EVO 3 thu 6s competing as they can get down to crazy low weights, have huge aftermarket support...and in my eyes a 600hp awd car that weighs 1100kg with crazy cage that makes it as acceessible or usable as the Exige makes it no different. Big thing for me is they should not be ex GT2 or GT3 race cars, isntead true to the tuned/hotted up production cars.

    Finally

The GT cars are rwd but they are not really R35s when you look at what is under the skin. LOL to people that complain about puchrods etc, i am pretty sure the R35 has pushrods, pullroads etc
  6. Asking $200 + delivery or pick up. Need it gone as no longer needed with my new suspension setup. If somebody wants a read 24mm swaybar will probably be able to do that in a week or three
  7. In Mlebourne, need rather urgently so happy to pay going rate for a bar that is free of visible damage, stone chips etc are fine. PM me your asking price and location etc
  8. Does the flange on the manifold match the flange on the turbo? It looks like one is oval (manifold) and i expect the exhaust housing is more rectangular
  9. Rowdy i have a new phone and dont have your number sms me so we can catch up while i am back in Aus and i can pick up some stuff ie i will probably take that front bar and lip if you are parting with it
  10. Happy to sell these without rubber as i need to get these wheels off the car so i can put my brakes back on
  11. Since R32 GTR wheels are 16x8 +30 these will still look ok on an R32 GTR? Will consider a swap plus some cash for R34 GTR seats
  12. So there is interest in the adaptors and rotors though nothing 100% official. If these go then that will jsut leave the calipers which i will be pretty happy to do a good price on so offers?
  13. Bump...need to get the panel work started on the car so any reasonable offers?
  14. Bump...nice if these were gone before work committments mean i need to put them into storage.
  15. I agree regarding tyres, but i have simply read too many articles and have fiddled with enough brake setups to confidently say that the difference is on the 4th lap when you simply have too much car for the std brakes and everything is getting toasty hot The only major improvement i think you see with bigger brakes is consistancy. SO a 3 seconds over a number of laps i can easily believe. Over a single lap, being your best lap of the day.... well i am just still a little sceptical of such claims. Suspension setup and tyres play a bigger role in stopping distances then the caliper/rotor arrangement. There are many back to back tests that show stopping distance improvements of less then a car length from std equip using good pads and fluid compared to big dollar Brembo/AP/Alcon setups. Where the big setups help is that they operate at lower temps so are more consistant
  16. Well i have been chasing factory wings, i was chasing an R34 wing for about 6 months and finally bagged one recently for which i am very grateful
  17. Well why would anyone give you a drive then if you are not going to turn it on for the race fans.
  18. RE55s are Bridgestones. They are a semi slick tyre that are legal for the street. They are about $400 each and wear quickly, the price for grip. I run 235/40/17s on my old Weds which were 8", will be running 255/40/17 on my new 9.5" rims
  19. LOL, you will be photographed , and photographed and photographed. 8yr olds will love the car more then 18yr olds for a change
  20. Nick, if you decide to go the Teins RE/RA/RS and Racepace route then give me a call Jack and Snowmans cars run this setup and are very compliant on the street. I run the RA and they are a bit firmer in my GTSt but i think the ride is still very good.
  21. Hmm...Lightning Mcqueen? Shouldnt the car be red FLash Gordon?
  22. LOL, i love E30s. My serious dream daily driver should i be able to find one is an E30 325is. Sadly they all seem to be have lowered, massive stereo and you know what i am saying Rather then the type of car my mates old man had which saw him get off with a warning doing 160km/h on Parramatta Rd in it on a test drive which happened to be my lift to work. The only thing better then a neat 325is would be an E30 M3 but at the asking price of the few RHD you would have to go Cossie Sierra But YES, E30 and E36 coupes...BIG FAN!
  23. Have been following that thread for a while...i just love those sorts of builds so much more then an RB30 in a purple air brushed Skyline that we get all too often in Aus
  24. What is with this froggy speak of merci etc? I mean my french isnt the best but manger les morceaux de ma merde et appelez-moi en français
