  1. This is my Mrs's 33. She has owned it for around 2 years. bought It pretty stock, just had blitz cooler and exhaust. Now has PFC, BC coilovers, Tein castor rods and a few other little things. Have just recently put 20x9.5 +20 & 20x10.5 +22 Volk GTC's on it. It has my old type M front bar with the lower lip of her poxy series 1 bar added to it. Cheap Do-Luck style skirts With cheapo Jun Style rear bar add-ons (Pods). + Satin black rear Lip (D-Max) about as practical as a 1 seater bus put it pulls looks, and its 100% weekend streeter so yeah.. cheers
  2. If your hoping for 275, stock cams will be fine. Camtech do 272/9mm lift for 25's. but I really think its pointless at that power level. Its been said time and time again stock cams have worked well at 370kw's + money could be spent better else where on the car!
  3. ET turbo pulsars came from the factory with no bov, same as VLT's . As above, they are running very low boost.
  4. I suspected you would run them pre cooler on the 31, I think I sent you a PM but maybe it didnt send. I think I've got it nutted out, Took me awhile tho. I'll post up some pics once I'm done
  5. Yes I know they open at idle, so yep making new intake to accommodate the return pipe. I was only concerned they would melt as they will see heat they were never going to see mounted after the cooler. And if they did happen to fail I had visions of crap (Hard plastic) finding its way back to the intake and into my comp wheel..... I've had a look at the plastic, its looks pretty sturdy stuff tho. I'm not expecting it to happen, I'm sure nissan built them to take 10 times the heat they were ever going to see. But it doesn't cost to ask, and maybe avoid a potential headache. and as for cheap, not really - and thats when you can get them.
  6. digging up an old thread rather than starting a new one. and not 'quite' the same question but here goes, Has anyone ran GTR Bov's Pre cooler? I've finally sourced some 33 GTR Bovs, and I was wondering if I could place them Beofre the cooler, as this will make the return to the intake a heck of a lot shorter/simpler. If I mount them in the same position as the GTR, I've got to run a 2" return pipe all the way from the cooler exit right back to the intake pipe. And the factory plastic return wont work with my custom piping/cooler setup. I'm olny concerned as I know the GTR Bov's have the rubber/plastic seat and I'm worried about them melting due to the added heat being plumbed in pre cooler compared the the factory 'after the cooler'. cheers
  7. yes indeed that is about a awesome as they get. Wouldn't change a thing...
  8. lucky lucky. Good result!
  9. no they didnt!
  10. I dont think so no, just need to go into service tas with the RWC.
  11. here we have little to no rules lol. If its has, legal tyres, legalish tint a horn and working lights its pretty much good to go. obviously some places are picky-er but the's a few approved inspection stations that are not so fussy.
  12. maybe try posting in the forced induction thread mate. a video/sound clip wouldnt go astray either. P.S i'd drop the HPR 10 and grab some castrol edge 10w60. I hope its not the bottom end for your sake mate!
  13. Haha yep, thats been said before. There's ALOT more capable ECU's out there than capable tuners.
  14. that looks great Roy.
  15. mmm unless compression etc is upto shit I wouldnt bother mate, I'd just be doing the usual head gasket stuff.
  16. thanks dude
  17. Thanks dude. yep, purpose is, capable of street duties and able to be driven to the track and rip out a decent time. Oh, and something interesting and exciting to drive. Something that doesnt get old and boring.
  18. Here's my beastie. Owned it since the 25th of may 07'. Its not the sexiest or cleanest car in the land, but its all my own work - to my taste. Not my dream car, But its what I could/can afford to build up.
  19. What? Re-read what he said.... "You'd be stoopid not to use a metal intake gasket set on a GTR. Any of the big name brands have good gaskets... HKS, Greddy Tomei etc."
  20. Mmm you might be right actually... either way good result!
  21. wouldnt think so, I think tomei's biggest VCT cams are the PROCAM series which go upto 260/9.15
  22. think I saw this in PI a few issues ago, sweet car and awesome engine mate good luck with the sale.
  23. waste of time, money & effort (for your mods). You didn't mention what ecu either?....
  24. replace the gasket, then get it on a dyno to check afr's. \
