Being a tad more realistic. Good tool kit, jack, and stands. $500 should easy cover it. Not knowing what the car is but assuming its a turbo... Stereo, at least a head-deck if the orginal is a bit RS. But I could EASY spend $10k on a car stereo and justify the cost. Brakes as mentioned, just the normal if the lines are fine just the fliud pads etc. Say a good $1.5-2k there if your paying for labour. Maybe $1k if your lucky getting stuff on the cheap and do the stuff yourself. Suspension. Probably worth while doing all bushes to be safe anyway, new suspension coils and shocks, sway bars, blah blah blah then install and a proper wheel alinement... $2-3k quite easy. Then with the $50-400 you have left depending on how much you spent on your head deck... You could get a better filter, and or a bleed valve, and maybe someones cheap 2nd hand exaust, maybe... You need to learn how to drive the wheels off the car before getting more power, if you dont know the car more power is pointless.

First thing, you need to get the ECU re-tuned. I think it will seriously make another improvement, and be well worth the money. That or get another chip that can be tuned. Whatever, just do it. Reason for saying that. My graph is very very similar to yours (same power as well), just I dont have cams, or an RB25 turbo, or a FMIC. I think with some more tuning, that will be a very smartly modded car, with very good power for the mods. Either way, thats a pretty good gain for a fairly low outset of money. Just do something with the ECU.

Already told you about the weight issue Roy, start exercising that and you can change your drive shaft to a 1 peice, that will shave some weight. But bearings, syncros. The quotes I got, with the 'warrenty' they offered, I couldnt justify the money of fixing it. I do plan on going an RB30 at some stage tho, so that did infulence my decision. Do it once and do it properly.

For my cefiro (not the same but hey) they quoted me $2500ish all installed and set up, they being fulcrum. I then spoke to SK. I went the bilstein option.
