  1. http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/Registration/PermitsModificationsAndDefects/OtherPermits/RallyPermitScheme.htm Found this for Victoria... if it is similar to SA?
  2. Thanks for the replys fellas; so if that is the case going with a Rally rego. logbook etc... what are the conditions of driving them on the street? Is it only to and from events or at other specific periods? Cheers
  3. I know I would rather a bronze guide wear out than a steel guide crack and break off into the engine!
  4. No, it is not true... firstly it was a fragment of block and secondly it was not one of Paul's engines. Be careful what you write without knowing all the facts; Pauly is pretty anal with his bearing clearances. Anyway, Nitto = Good!
  5. SA brothers, I have bashed out a few emails to some cage builders in SA late in the day but thought I might ask everyone here in SA as I am sure someone would know. Is it possible to register a car in SA with a full weld in cage? I have heard mixed answers such as: no only a half cage, or, yes full cage but with removal side intrusion? At the end of the day I would like to keep it registered but I will not compromise the cage design just to do so. Cheers, Mike
  6. Nice one Johno... look like o/size valves in head? Can't wait to see an engine bay photo with washer bottle bracket
  7. Waiting for R33 full cage photos
  8. Need some of this stuff gone please!
  9. Rolls stop being boring; if you have the money to spend on the head do it! If you have money to waste on the head... buy Ferrea over Supertech. FYI, Tomei valves are not made by Tomei... can't speak for their springs though?
  10. The results from the GTX so far have not proved they are better at all... More power but more lag; who would have thought?! Go with what is proven to work you don't need expensive fancy parts to go fast.
  11. No worries mate, will give you a call tonight. Thanks
  12. Sent you an email Brad, cheers.
  13. I think we both know the answer... nice one Trozzle Did someone mention earlier that MHI/Trust played with billet machined comp. wheels? Any more info on that?
  14. Did the other two GTR's get tuned?
  15. Sounds like... backpeddling
  16. No problems Johno glad it got there without a drama! Thanks and Merry Xmas.

    Buy a R33 GTR
  18. Yeah; can only explain it so many times... Douche!
  19. SimonR32 is right; never said it was laggier... I just said it would be surprised if it responded the same at the same power. Is has a larger compressor wheel (shown in catalogue) and hence a higher moment of inertia. You have no idea what the weight is so you should not comment... maybe it is the same weight or heavier? If that is the case and it responded the same, as I said I would be surprised.
  20. You make yourself look silly by making wild assumptions... sit back and wait for a result. As for this thread; looking forward to seeing a result from this early in the new year!
  21. You must still be a student and have not been out in the "real world" if you believe everything on a data sheet, come on now! I will raise both eyebrows if a physically bigger comp. wheel (from a GTX35) will respond the same as a standard GT35 at the same power. I am with the striped horse!
