  1. Wow... awesome find. Very comprehensive.
  2. I reckon lambo doors look better and would be cheaper, but up to you. Sushi rice can be expensive. True. How about lambo-suicide doors? eg., reverse-opening suicide doors? That would look VERY unique... but very kinda odd.
  3. Nice. Is it a standard engine? What's 325 awkw in rwkw terms?
  4. OMG.... just too funny
  5. Yep, that's the point lol. Like to see the cops defect 2 million Victorians now ... says the guy who earns 100k+ Exactly. You understand my plight.
  6. Awesome. That should just cover the cost of petrol to get there Damn 700cc injectors.

    Chupa Chuck

What a smart marketing move by the chupa chupp company. Make a piece of rag that costs 20cents to make in a vietnamese sweat shop and looks like something you can find in the savlo bins a desirable limited edition model, and increase the sales of a solidifed ball of sugar and artificial flavouring not worth its wrapping paper. Accerelated 99% profit.
  9. Should be Nismo, HKS vouchers, redeemable at all good garages
  10. Lol me too! Can't wait for my money. Lol Bah... fatcats. Stop complaining about being too rich. The rest of us need the money.
  11. Couldn't agree more. That's why my next car is a Hummer! The 33% luxury car tax definitely does not help Euro cars.
  12. Cool. I should be there to sign up as a new member. What's the difference in price between doing it on the day ($50) to the usual price for new registration? Thanks.
  13. Anyone have any pics of the event? I was working so couldn't make it
  14. WTH is in the Spyder's passenger seat? Looks like a Bobo doll or something out of Mario lol....
  15. R32 GTR driven by asian dude on City Rd this arvo .... [GTAHH]
  16. +1 Two mates of mine with last-gen Mercs have spent around $10-15k between them over the last 5 years just to fix all the crap that screws up at the services. eg., 10 burnt out lights/lamps, five stuck power windows, three stuck power sunroofs (one got stuck twice), 1 screwed air-con, 1 stuck electronic driver's seat, 1 screwed fuel meter, 1 car with an eternity of interminable rattling noise, etc, etc
  17. Welcome, mate. Unfortunately you've chosen to relocate to the strictest state in the strictest country in terms or road rules/modifications regulations. Quick word of warning... 3km/h over the speed limit will net you a fine. A 19-year old ie., probationary licence until 21 is severely restricted in the type of vehicles that can be legally driven/insured, depending on power/weight ratio. Even stock, an evo would definitely not pass, and neither would most turbo skylines. A quick look at the vicroads road rules sections http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/RulesS...rdsRegulations/ should inform you. Pay particular attention to the Vehicle Standards Information for modified vehicles. There are some very knowledgeable people on this forum eg., mods, as well as the EPA/roadworthy thread near the top you can check out. Hope you enjoy your stay.
  18. +1 Yes... I sense a particularly keen digger in the Vic forums.
  19. Or [RUST3D]
  20. Lol they probably think it's a volvo. How about... no contest? IS-F is a piece of crap. ISF was made to compete with M3, which it fails miserably at. M3 in turn gets owned by R35 GTR, which Nissan aimed at bigger fish eg., 911 Turbo anyway. Toyota/Lexus should have just continued production of the supra. Ahh, the hard decisions in life... feel sorry for ya mate, really sympathise with your plight
  21. Silver R34 4-door around Latrobe St at 1800. Silver R33 overtook me on the WGB... damn 40kmh-limited phantom roadworks.
  22. ROFL.
  23. As long as you don't have a 20-year old fire extinguisher corroded to the max, it won't explode. In the event that pressure builds up inside the canister for whatever reason, there is an automatic "Wastegate" in all extinguishers that lets out the pressurised contents once they reach a certain pressure. I think mythbusters threw an extinguisher in a fire, and it didn't do anything, thus debunking that myth. In the case that an explosion so violent does not give the canister enough time to vent through the wastegate, I would say, you're dead in the first place anyway. Under the drivers seat is probably the best place to mount it. If it does explode, you have the cushioning of the hard flame-retardant recaro seats and your own derriere. If it is in sight, it will likely kill/blind you. In any case, an explosion in the cabin is probably lethal in any position.
  24. Are you really 19? You have a partner and a son? If that's the case I thought you wouldn't care about whether chicks will be attracted to you based on what car keys are on the bar table, as you described. But it's undisputable that at any particular price point, Jap cars >>> Euro cars for performance and reliability. If you don't want to modify your car, then it's harder to say. I have nothing against Euro cars. My daily is a very old, very big and heavy Merc, just because it is everything that my GTR isn't eg., can carry 5 people in luxury, actually has a boot. And my dream car is a Ferrari F430. Euro cars are generally more luxurious, refined and a pleasure to drive as well as sit in, but I would buy them for reasons different from why I got my GTR. Anyway, different strokes for different folks. Good luck with your Maserati.
