  1. Well Im guessing the aftermarket lca you bought is adjustable? so you can make it shorter or longer but remember since there adj is done from the bush end you effectively are pushing the sway bar and castor rod mounts out so you should try and install it and get it at the same length as the original arm and see if it fits if it still doesnt fit you make have the wrong lca. Adjustment should be done after this if you wish to push out the wheel base.
  2. If your hitting it every now and then and not sitting on it for long its probably not going to break shit but constantly hitting it and just riding on it yeah one day youll probably start hearing your bearings lol.
  3. Yeah that will work.
  4. Ive got mine hooked up with 1 outlet tee'd into the breather and other outlet into intake pipe. No problems for over year and no oil in can.
  5. Id be checking the CAS if its a lean popping during cruising.
  6. Depends, is it going really excessive lock to one side? It could be the rack isnt centred, only way to tell is get it up on a hoist and have a look.
  7. Just a little update for what I did this weekend, Ive been looking to get a roll cage for a while now so have been looking around for any for sale or to get one made and came across one finally selling here on the forums. Its a cusco 6 point cage so perfect for my needs as drift cages dont have to pass CAMS and got it real cheap so snatched it up straight away. Just had to get some new bolts and make up my own mounting plates which was no problem. Would of like to put it in now but the cars already on the trailer for next weekend so Ill chuck it in when I get back from drift attack. Also with the car on the trailer dummy fitted up the new tyrerack to the trailer to see how it sits and its perfect so thats another thing that will be finished off when I get back. Not long now left til drift attack this weekend cant wait!
  8. +1 been eagerely following this since the beginnning cant wait to see it running.
  9. Its fine if its for a drift car and every now and then you might hit the limiter but your better off shifting up a gear and taking the corner one youll get better smoke and a better drift and two the car will be no where near limiter, I know there are some turns where your stuck and you cant go up gear and the lower gear is to high but yeah just gota concentrate on shifting up as soon as you reach the point where youve maxed it out. When I started drifting I was to riding the limiter all day and thinking its the way to go but yeah once you learn more you see its really not ideal and its better off being in the high gear.
  10. Tomei poncams will be perfect for your setup and goals.
  11. It will need a little tidy up in the tune.

  14. Small update of what I got up to on the weekend, didnt do much just doing the little things to get the car ready for drift attack in a few weeks.First decided to finally bleed my brakes and also did the usual oil change. Was going to start to give the inside a clean the thought cbf with all this carpet stuff so started to strip bits of the interior out that were not needed and also got to work on stiching up my old front bar to go on the car. Here are a few pics.
  15. Yeah but the problem is you need bearang clearances ring gaps etc if your doing oem build.
  16. Yeah really depends what you want and what your after, if your after just a normal lsd for everyday car then yeah a gtr one will work well but if you want something that works abit better and more responsive go for a nismo or kazz 1.5way or 2 way and if your on a budget and dont mind a loud diff with clunks you can shim it up.
  17. Yeah just jap are good and reasonably priced or you can order driftworks ones from the UK which are better quality and it will work out about the same price as the JJR ones. Im running driftworks camber arms and jjr castor rods and both are great no problem.
  18. Yep there the same.
  19. Thanks mate. Stay tuned constantly something going on lol.
  20. good work on the build, gota love how theres always complications in whatever you try to do ahah makes the day interesting.
