  1. What i personally think is whenever they mention jasma approved means they just stick a restrictor in to make it approved. Instead of actually putting decent muflers they take the short cut as many ppl will never know and be happy with the appearance of the exhust from outside and happy with the sound so will never investigate further.
  2. Mate what i used is the die grinder so that should get you out of trouble. Its a dog of a job but to make it easier once you penetrate one part use a chisel to break the rest Of the welds.
  3. Yeah i ended up realising when thinking about it logically that rounded side is towards clutch and thats how i put and its working fine thanks for the help.
  4. It what came with my exedy clutch, so Id presume they would give the single plate one as a its a single plate clutch pic attached. The one on the right is the new bearing. Well I put it in anyway havent started the car but it does change gears and all.
  5. http://www.skylineowners.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1257345#post1257345 Should it be like the one in the pic on the left?
  6. So this side that is in the pic goes onto the clutch side and the other side with a groove towards the box. http://justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=18415&cat=&page=1
  7. Im changing thrust bearing abd noticed exedy one looks diff to standard one is it the right one? and which way do you insert it?
  8. From what i know r32 r33 and 300zx hv same lifters i think.
  9. Im just getting driftworks everything.
  10. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/339046-opinion-on-kakimoto-regu-06/page__hl__silencer+weld__st__20 Have a look in this topic i have put my pics of it and removal.
  11. I assure you they have one heaps of ppl have said to me theres dont and when show me the pic its there. Its not your average obvious silencer it is fit in very well hard to tell. If you would like to put a pic of inside your cannon ill tell you.
  12. Thanks that what i thought.
  13. Also make sure to check your hub isnt bent aswell. When I smacked my rear control arm thought that was the only problem replaced to see still probelm there when had closer look the hub had twisted and deformed.
  14. Yeah even still it holds everywhere besides clutch dumping 3rd and 4th so if wasnt a drift car still would be useful. Going to chuck the hhhd in now see how that goes.
  15. Yeah no one does know it until you accidently stumble across it or see pics. I had a thread somewhere showing all the pics of it and how I removed it etc so in my opinion the kaki regu 06 is just a cheap lie in regards to good flowing exhuast with minimal noise when as a matter a fact its just that welded in silencer thats doing all the sound reduction, but in saying that once you take the restrictor out its a great exhuast flow wise and sounds great even though it probably isnt the queit exhuast you would expect now. So what I learned was there is no cheap way of high flowing exhuast while being quiet unless your going to go for $3000 system like racepace will make.
  16. If ur number one objective is queit than yes the kakimato but be warned they have a 2.5inch welded in restrictor in d cannon so yeah if you want performance first i wouldnt buy it. I regret buying it as i ended up cutting the restrictor out as was losing piwer and after that no longer quiet.
  17. I remOved the two screws that hold the solonoid and also the starter motor. But inside the solOnoid theres a cylinder with a spring from my understanding the spring goes on the top Of the cylinder so as it can push the cylinder back? I have attached a pic which is what im talking about.
  18. I unbolted the starter motor switch assembly (solonoid) in order to gain access to the bell housing bolts but when I did a spring a cylinder popped out of it, now my question is does the spring go under the cylinder or on top of the cylinder?
  19. Ye POS 400 bux waste. Would of just decat straight away if car wasnt street driven back then.
  20. Just took my clutch out to change it and was always really curious to what clutch it was since its withstood 2 years off 260kw and 6months off 310kw with hard driving since its a drift car. How is this possible?
  21. Will it be worth getting the tune checked after running the gutted cat.
  22. Its a track car. And yeah the metal cat melted so its useless so just thought might aswell make use of it.
  23. I want to gut my xforce metal cat but I know when doing this to stock cats unless you have a straight pipe in it you will have turbalance issues with the flow but since the metal cats are basically designed in a straight pipe design will this still apply to gutting a metal cat? Pic attached.
  24. Yeah Im using one with it at the moment and so far no moment. Bosch don't recomend using them with ethanol since they haven't tested it with them but heaps of people run them and don't have any problems.
