  1. sweet, i'll see how funds go and see what size my gauge holder is i love watching your picture thing lol
  2. what size are the 34 rims? if they are 18 x 7or8 ish i'd be pretty keen and what offsetish too?
  3. you will need gtst disks and you will either need some pipe with a 12mm inside diameter and 1mm wall thickness or re-drill and tap the mounting holes to 14mm like the stock brakes are
  4. tad keen on that boost guage mate where about are you? also, what diameter is it?
  5. pretty sure all the head bolts are under the rocker covers its good tho, keeps them nice and slippy bad news about the missing valve tho
  6. 33 gtr will fit yours - its the auto's that need gtst rear struts the valving is different so it'll handle averagely but will get you over the pits also, manuals only came as s2's (except for the 260rs's) manual s2 shocks will also fit
  7. may as well ask here how did you go about getting the water lines off the turbo? they seem like they are on there pretty tight! and how tight should the turbo-manifold studs be? mine were pretty much finger tight lol
  8. couple of my mates had magnas with the 3.5 v6 (one auto 'sports" and one manual 'vrx') think they used to average between 10-12 and about 8 on the highway if your gonna get a corolla aim for one from 2002 onwards my mum drives an 03 one, had it from brand new and not a problem with it yet (touch wood) manual ones will be about $8k now, great cars but the auto is a bit gutless at speed

    For Sale

yes but oil and water lines could be different
  10. send option1 an email and tell them what your looking for they will recommend you a tyre and unless you can order from a wholesaler they will be cheaper that bob jane or other tyre places they sell more than what they advertise, could be worth just going to see them the ku36's are supposed to be a good semi-slick (beter than the federal rs-r's) but probably not what your after don't really know much about any of the other tyres but i'll find out once i have some money for new wheels too let us know how you go, where you went and how much it was tho
  11. you in brissy mate get your tyres from www.option1garage.com.au very cheap http://www.option1garage.com.au/NewTyres.htm i think the ku31's were under $200 a corner acutally, i found this, i asked for a quote a while ago Kumho 235/40/18 KU31 $156.00 KU27 $192.00 KU37 $157.00
  12. guess you haven't seen the holset thread then quite a few ppl using them on rb's now and making good power most ppl would say what you said xrated so they are cheap, few mods to the oil lines and plumbing and your away
  13. find a steep driveway and park nose up also grab a coke bottle, cut the bottom off, wrap the small end (with the thread) in insulation tape then fill it with water crack the bleeder bolt with that in, should force all the air out as its higher than the motor hope that helps
  14. i bought a piece of pipe its used but for $100 you can't go wrong will get a new turbo-manifold gasket and turbo outlet gasket and some new tie rod ends and an alignment also nearing the end of the cheap and easy mods now tho
  15. i bought some chains from autobarn down here in tassie $150 to buy the set as opposed to $40 for the day renting them plus the $60 deposit i haven't had to use them yet but there wasn't much snow on the road up to where we went skiing the c34 handled it fine on 224/45/18's and autobarn had heaps of different sizes to suit different size wheels i'm pretty sure these chains will scratch the wheels if i have to use them but that doesn't worry me too much grab some, whack them in the boot, show them to the man when he asks and head up the mountain, you probably wont need to even think about putting them on
  16. Hey guys I got a pretty bad ding in my Drivers-side front door mainly after another yellow door, but i will take cheap doors in other colours I'm in tas, but i also live on the gold coast for summer (parents live there permanently) I'll pay for freight Let me know what you have Cheers, Tom
  17. package from the us arrived
  18. which hid kid did you use? its pretty much the only way to get the bulbs the same colour as the xenons
  19. sure am put them in the oven with the temp on low ~80*c then slowly pull the lens off once open, there is a yellow tinted glass in front of the bulb that just unscrews and comes off
  20. yeah, just a little pretty interesting read tho all done to get good response and torque, not outright power i.e. 600hp road car
  21. nope, re-sleeved 26 block with open deck spacer plate (sleeves stick out above the top of the block) with an rb30 crank and sr20 rods (i think)
  22. same, then i got some "5000k" halogen bulbs basically normal bulbs with a blue coating not as blue as the xenons, but a lot whiter than the stock bulbs
  23. there are some metal covers inside, if you take them out you get a bit more light out of them they are fogs so it'll always be a wide spread i was thinking about getting some driving lights for below them or maybe next to the number plate tho
  24. mine has the spare pulley on the throttle and the spare slot on the throttle cable bracket too maxima cruise could be a go
  25. nissan did lots of research and put the pvc valve there as did lots of other manufacturers 2nd setup looks right, but unblock the pcv, it does things at idle and light throttle but sfa on boost when your getting the most blowby get some steel wool and put it in your catch can (making sure that non is gonna come off and go into the turbo) the fine wool will catch the fine oil droplets, thus making the catch can more effective
