I got standards somewhere. Off a '98 R33 so relatively new and had em off for 2 yrs. How's $50 sound and get em from North Sydney?
-
Well, if we are into lending... I'm in Gosford. Gimme a 6 pack and a $100 deposit and you can come get it. $100 can stay in a envelope for pickup on return. Have box/filter and snorkel

I had a wheel alignment a while ago and they said they had trouble doing the rear because the exhaust tip was gettting in the way of the laser sighting. Anyone else have that issue? Is it a issue or do these people not know what they are doing? Thanks.. Birnie -

Great Phone/power Fc Holder For $10
Birnie replied to Birnie's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Works fine. It's mounted there so i can see who's calling me without having to move my head or pick the phone up, then i answer the call by pressing another button for the bluetooth/handsfree setup. Calls are fine Everything works exactly the same as before the magnet. ..a tiny magnet compare to a sub. -
Great Phone/power Fc Holder For $10

One more thing. It comes with a spare magent so you can have 1 bracket and a magnet for the back of 2 devices. (of course, only 1 being used at a time) Might be helpful to someone.. -
Hey guys. I was shopping for a new phone holder yesterday and came across this little beauty It's good for the phone and even better for the Power FC. (probably buy another one for the FC soon) Pics are attached Price was $9.95 from Leading Edge (one of those dodgey brothers elevtrival stores) Top price if you ask me. It works using magnets. Attatch one permanentyl to the back of your phone or PFC and the other piece attaches to the dash of course. Using the double sided sticky tape method but it is 3M tape so hopefully is reliable. (hasn't dropped yet...a whole 24 hrs ! ) It has a button on the side which acts as a lever system to 'pop' the magnets aparts. You know what it's like trying to get 2 flat magnets apart. Can be tricky. This button makes it pretty easy. Anyways. It's the best option I've seen so far so I'm just putting it out there for you guys to check out and decide. I already use a $12 job from Super Cheap for the Power FC but don't really like it. Too ugly and noticeable. And taked up a vent slot. This one you CAN NOT see once the device is mounted over it. It's also pretty sturdy. The oval shaped magnet on the back of my phone sticks out about 3mm ..and tha sits inside a 3mm deep oval on the bracket so it can't spin or slide off. Pics below..... Enjoy

I checked this out awhile ago for interest sake. You are limited to 660 (if over 30 i think which is me ) But there's also a specific list of bikes that are allowed too. You can't pick any 600 CC bike ..eg an R6 is definately off the list. The list is on the RTA site somewhere. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

When you say Zero, do you mean there is no gain (ie no point as the same as the Nissan standard) or Worse!? ..cause for me, even if there is no gain but the same performance of the Nissan, i would be happy cause its such a pain to get to my freean spark plugs ! -

Here you go. Got it off the Hybrid site but can't find it now. Can't remember is it was hybrid of HDI or some other name they go under. Good luck. I've posted some pics up somewhere to if you wanna check em out. In the Forced Induction i think Intercooler_Installation_GTSt.pdf -
Hey guys/girls. I've bought myself the above kit as I'm sick of my tyres going on the inside. An expensive problem. Anyay, I'm not up on the car parts lingo so if someone can help me with which bolts to undo. For 1 kit, you only replace 2 bushes to gain 0.75 change. The pic that Whiteline supply show 2 kits installed (4 bushes for 1.5 degrees) so i don't know which of the 4 to change. Have a read and then check the (self) labelled pic.. Any help appreciated. PS. seems pretty simple to me (once i sort out which ones to change) although I've never replaced them before. Has anyone come across any difficulties you would like to share before i give it a shot? Thanks

Standard R33 Fmic
Birnie replied to maniacdrifter's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
For $50, I'm guessing it's the smaller GTS-T cooler. In which case it's a SMIC (Side Mounted InterCooler) ..could be wrong though -
Which Repco's were they? I'd be happy with $100

Don't hate me too much (I have a mortgage) ..and I'll never know if i don't ask. $150 ? Otherwise I'm stuck with Bendix Ultimates, as that's all i can afford. -
I had mine done for a case of beer. Post it up somewhere and see who responds. ..but if you're gunna pay, just get a quote the fron/dump and do the cat yourself...it's 4 bolts !

True, they exist. I have one too As already said 1998 is the 40th anniversary. Should be extra sewn on badges on the front seats And matching emblims on the C-pillar Other than that, same as a 96-97 Series II My avatar shows the outside badge

Glad this came up. I'm sick of the shitty replacement wipers. Was going to try Nissan next but if you guys think Bosch are OK, I'll go for those.

Tyres you use(d) and how u would rate them
Birnie replied to ZigenGT's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Been using crap tyres for 3 years and sliding everywhere. Thought i'd ring for some prices on Toyo T1R's as they seem very well used/liked here The results were funny Tyre for test quote was : TOYO T1R 265/40ZR17 Price 1 - $440 Price 2 - $560 Price 3 - $340 !! Hehe. $220 difference !!!! (or $440 for a pair) I wasn't ever going to buy them but looking at the last quote, i might just do it! ...twas Blair's in Peakhurst (Russell's the dude) Don't suppose anyone can beat that? (Tempe wouldn't supply Toyo) -
