  1. Mine goes straight to 60kms as soon as i start moving. Stays there...all the way to say 110. If i go to 120+ it drops back to Zero ! hahaha. Thank goodness for revSpeedMeters. (that said, i would like ot fixed)

    Hks Pod

    I have a HKS pod off my R33 which has the adapter for the standard AFM, but as far as I'm aware, i thought Z32 was a straight swap out so should be OK ?? $50 and yours....although no filter. Anywhere between Nth syd and Gosford (or close by) is fine (maybe you should state where you are)

  4. Whoops, i meant the RB30ET off a VL. Not sure about BB yet but trying to find out. Apparently high flowed by XMS so if i can find out who they are, i should be able to find out if BB or not. Can you tell by looking at it from the outside if BB or not?
  5. I have a friend of a friend who has a High Flow RB30DET turbo they are trying to offload as they are getting a bigger turbo. Would that turbo be suitable for the R33 engine as an upgrade with supporting mods...ie PFC FMIC ZORST Boost Pod... ???? If som will it bolt straight on or need some mods to do so ? He also said it was an XMS high flow..What's that???!! I searched on here and can't find an occurance of XMS, hopefully getting mixed up with XTR as i think that's GCG ???? Thanks guys. Birnie

  7. Hi SAU peeps, How do you combine images and what application do you use? I want to be able to have image A and image B, take a copy of B, paste it onto A, and still be able to see A ghosted in the background. The main reason is to paste any new dyno charts over the old and really get a good idea of where the curve has increased. It's a bit hard with a side by side look. Thanks...Birnie
  8. Which ones from other cars are compatible? I'm sure I've seen previous threads with mentions of RX7 ones. Also saw en ebay add for WRX ones and he 'thinks' they may be SR20 compatible which should mean R33 .. right ???? Any others???
  9. Hey MearCat. Did you get those injectors from Nissan? How much and did you need extra bits..collars..to fit ? Sounds like a good option when Nizmo 555's are near the $1000 mark Thanks..Birnie

I remember reading a UK thread years aga and everyone there was doing the same debate on the 5000 change...most people did do the 5000 change but they're in miles so realistically, that's every 8000/kms. The '5' seems to be a magic figure. ..so anyway, i guess if you do every 5k, you will be damn safe, just have to figure out for yourself if it's overkill. (I personally would go for 10k but thats me)
  12. I used to have one but forgotten most features....but i 'think' it may have the ability to save 2 tunes??? (the SAFC-II that is) Why you would want that i do not know but anyway, it's there. If you already have a SAFC-I, it should be fine. If you're looking to buy, you may as well get the SAFC-II I think there's even a newer one that has 256 colours or something??? on nengun... looks frigin sweet !

I've changed my pads recently to Bendix Ultimates in front and Winmax rears HEAPS better for braking but i now notice that 1st pump, stops of course and pretty well, but if i pump 1st then brake with the 2nd push, it's super hard to press and much better. I haven't bleed for about a year so hopefully that's all it is. Anyone else have that? (and yeah, noticed the 3 thread thing now too)..haha

    I'm here now on a short holiday for the first time. Damn i wish i had my car! All the roads seem pretty good. Cool windy bits all over. Haven't seen many cops yet? (just thought I'd check the Tas section while here, Hi guys!)
  15. Got the mods you have plus the Power Fc Now just having that in makes a huge difference and should bring the smile back. More boost? Buy a $50 bleeder for starters. That's what I'm using and works fine. (12psi) I'll go the electronic Boost cntrler when i upgrade the turbo. I don't see the slightly unsteady boost line as being a problem.

  18. I guess we could discuss the theories of this till the cows come home and maybe should start a new thread but I still say the are the same, well the basics anyway. BUT, saying one is used to propel a car and the other pumps water isn't a fair comparison. One pumps air, one pumps water is more like it and in that case i say 'the same' I'm only thinking of one side of the 'car' turbo at a time mind you. Not as 1 powering the other. ...besides, if you had just the compressor side of the turbo removed and somehow powered up and water feed into it, i bet it would pump water for as long as it was powered. Maybe not very well but it would. Get Sydney Kid to try it! HAHA !

  20. All those earlier ones that pump water or whatever...i reckon they still qualify. Just cause the pump water instead of air doesn't mean the aint turbines. Turbos are just small turbines anyway. that being said....i wanna find a pic of the one on a diesel powered cruise ship!
