  1. I fink we've come to the conclusion that we all hate 33's yet most of us drive or used to drive 33's! T.
  2. I fink I'll be getting to Jim to stick in my 044 reasonable soon so some pix may be forthcoming... T.
  3. The bottom line is where do you stop??? People recommend Brant but there's heaps of bad stories about them either (not as bad as Boomerang) but they're not as bulletproof as people make them out to be. If you're on a budget, the SMS phone messager would be the go. T.
  4. Look up "plenum" in search. You'll get the phone book and more words written by more knowledgeable people than you're ever likely to meet in person. It's a well worn and controversial topic. T.
  5. Your chances of getting genuine Nismo body parts out of Japan is close to nil. T.
  6. Dude, I can name three different companies in Sydney who actually MAKE the pieces and then sell them to other places like UAS. I'm certain Jetspeed make their own. Go to the Vic. forums and ask. T.
  7. The thing is that most panel beaters and just that... BEATERS! LOL What I'm saying is that most smash shops either do their own fiberglassing for their own use or they outsource to one of their "mates". What you need to do is go by past examples. If you see a car done by some local mob and it looks like good fit, finish, paint, quality... then you can guess that they might do a good job on your car. T.
  8. I don't know of anyone in Australia who uses plastic like the OEM stuff. Everyone here is fiberglass. My bar came with the car. T.
  9. All 400r kits fabricated in Aust. are copies. Occasionally some parts I genuine (I have a real Nismo 400r rear bar). T.
  10. Can the RB25DET or the RB26 tow for shit? T.
  11. I was in a thread here and dammit... all these fairy PowahFC users. Crap... T.
  12. That's times two! Your shit is fly. I love Buddy Club. I prefer the P1 QF - I can only find these pix on a shitty Civic: http://www.aj-racing.com/BC-wheels.html Here's my "old" car: http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/r33_front.jpg Here's my "new" car: http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/r33_profile.jpg T.
  13. I think the point we're coming up with is that we're willing to let cars be modified to *SOME* extent for endurance, speed/spectacle purposes. I would love to see a more 'N1 class' race - ie: Targa Tasmania class cars having a go. However I disagree with stupid stuff like 7 litre motors, stuffing M5 motors in M3's, tube frame V8 supercar class bodies, $20,000 Hollinger gearboxes, 13" wide tyres and $10,000 monoblock Wilwood brakes. This gives certains cars a silly advantage. If Ross Palmer were to give preferential treatment to Skylines, ie. OS Giken 3.0 litre blocks running T88-34D singles on JGTC pushrod suspension and carbon panels etc. I would have the same objections. There's no glory in bring a pistol to a knife fight nor do I enjoy watching Mike Tyson KO someone in 89 seconds. I derive no pleasure in seeing a Monster "Skyline" whipping the hell out of everyone and winning with a 12 lap margin. However it seems that many Holden fans love seeing their golden boy Brock beat everyone in what is a V8 Supercar. T.
  14. Here's the official page for the Garry Rogers Monaro: http://www.grmotorsport.com.au/html/s02_ar...+1%3A46%3A52+AM 7 litre (427 cublic inch) Alloy Gen 111 V8 Chev Engine (GRM Built) Hollinger 6 speed Sequential Gear Box GRM built chassis with Chrome Molly Roll Cage 18 x 13 inch rear tyres and 18 x 11 front Dunlop tyres Ohlins shock absorbers 9 inch differential GRM desgined Carbon/Kevlar aero package AP 6 piston mono block front calipers/4 piston mono block rear calipers. Front rotor is 375 x 35mm and rear 343 x 35mm 120 litre aircraft spec fuel cell with Siamese dry brakes Motec on board engine and dash management system 4 on board air jacks It obvious this thing has a much in common with a road Monaro as the JGTC Supra/Skyline has with their road counterparts. Nothing would make me or US HERE AT SAU happier than to see a Skyline cream this Monaro which is faster than a V8 Supercar... But if it came down to question an RB26DETT running at 7,500rpm for 24 hours or a 7.0 litre GenIII running at 5,000rpm for 24 hours you know which one is going to last the distance. T.
  15. I'll take your front bar - got a pix dude? T.
  16. Here's some wheels I dig... Google them! Buddy Club P1 QF Racing Hart 6 spokes. Sparco NS-2 Python Volk Gr.C Not such a big fan of Enkei but I do like the Enkei TS-6 as seen in NFS-U. Now this game has maybe 30-40 sets of rims and they are all pretty much horrendous. T.
  17. Steve, They go by how 'good' a customer you are. I was quoted $620 or so earlier this year. I declined their kind offer... T.
  18. You knock sensor might be fubar. The bottom line is take notice of your hot reading - that's most important. T. mine sits on 7-8-9!
  19. That's good to know. I wanted to stick a VG30 on my RB25 but it seems I can only get the roller bearing models. May as well stick with the RB25 if it's laggier. T.
  20. You should see a thread we had going in the past about sticking V8's into Skylines. Why I think I was called a knuckle dragging neanderthal because I wanted to stick a V8 into my car! The bottom line is that a VH45 Skyline is still a Nissan thru and thru and we like them fast and loud and this certainly is all the above! T.
  21. OMG. I saw the video and that's what I want. The 4.5 litre VH45 Nissan in my Skyline. Deep down I don't like turbos... I really want a v8 under there... T.
  22. I've got three for $120 the lot. Off an S1. In Syd. T.
  23. It must be good because it's made by a "Great Company". btw. how come the 17" are more expensive than the 18"??? T.
  24. Why do your Skylines look so rice? Here's mine: http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/mines_r34_1.jpg http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/mines_r34_2.jpg http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/mines_r34_3.jpg http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/mines_r34_4.jpg http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/mines_r34_5.jpg http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/mines_r34_6.jpg http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/mines_r34_7.jpg http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/mines_r34_8.jpg http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/mines_r34_9.jpg T.
  25. http://www.nismo.com.au/pricelists/Price%2...3%20Styling.htm Mine is the S1 for $1,095. Ricey IMO. T.
