  1. I stopped at an intersection in the middle of the night. There were about 6 council workers about to dig up the road. The had closed up the road and set up a detour. I asked them if it was ok to drive over their close up section. They said I'd be the last one for the whole night and I could only drive over it if I 'drifted over' it in my fully sick GT-R (yeah right). So I punched it into 1st, dropped the clutch and slid the car sidesways thru their closed off intersection. I could see the guys in the rear vision mirror giving me the thumbs up thru the tyre smoke. Hey it was a closed road! T.
  2. The problem is that people are wrapped up in their houses, jobs, investments and possessions to be worried about the injustices we endure. There's too much senseless authoritarianism is this country that we are all to willing to accept. T.
  3. In the NT they put bullets in the cameras. In other countries they do perform a 'Soweto necklace' on them. I think the time for 'peaceful protest' is over if you truly believe that democracy truly isn't working. T.
  4. This is just my opinion so don't get upset. Getting expensive rims in this style doesn't make sense since they are copied by just about everyone. Speedy here have a few examples and do Sparco. T.
  5. Russia is great if you have heaps of USD (not roubles!) and perhaps are handy with the firing iron and friendly with the cops. NZ is going the same way as Aust. in that they too are restricting imports. For what reason, I know not. T.
  6. Buy a Ceffy with a 26 pre-installed! These sorts of conversions make me laugh. It seems the legendary 26 ends up landing in everything... Supras, S13's, Z32's. I think it needs to go into a Micra! There's some guys here with 26's in r31/r32/r33's. I hope them chime in. T.
  7. It was a 34 GT-R... He's working his way down. One day he hopes to demolish a KPCG-10... T.
  8. Could you shove all that under a GTS? T.
  9. Carbon bonnets are defectable but so are GT wings. They do not cause any engine problems. T.
  10. For the love of god, please lock this thread. T.
  11. I will share it too. [email protected] Dirty Tree owners unite! T.
  12. Well I'll put my hat in... My Dirty-Tree and a Celica... Is this all four windows + rear window? T.
  13. I put these ones up because that Japanese site seems down: www.nitroware.net/~tony/r34cop1.jpg www.nitroware.net/~tony/r34cop2.jpg www.nitroware.net/~tony/r34cop3.jpg www.nitroware.net/~tony/r34cop4.jpg www.nitroware.net/~tony/v35cop1.jpg www.nitroware.net/~tony/v35cop2.jpg www.nitroware.net/~tony/v35cop3.jpg T.
  14. Andrew... I think everyone has seen the Best Motoring Mines 34 video. Would you call that spooling up late? It's perhaps a bit hard to tell as it spends all its time above 3,000 but I'd imagine it's the total package making for the response (ie. VX-Rom, cams etc.) T.
  15. It doesn't harm the engine. Most are designed to divert around the electrical bits. T.
  16. I reckon the GTSt brakes swap is mandatory. AFAIK they all come with the lame NA single piston brakes. In a car 150+kg heavier than a 33 and just as fast. You know this is the most important mod you can do. T.
  17. I was quoted $80 for two side windows. $120 for the two sides, two quarters. Unsure about the rear windows. T.
  18. The only Yankee tank I know with a hard-on for Skylines is Paul Walker (no surprises there). Here's a pic that always cracks me up: http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/hulk_supra1.jpg I imaging the Hulk is saying "Check out my T88-34D... it's FULLEE bro!!!" If you won $30 million of course you'd build yourself a huge garage and fill it full of N1 GT-R's but you know... what else??? I'd imagine you'd guys want some TVR's, M-Power BMW's, AMG Mercs, turbo XR6's, maybe the odd GT3, F360... and a slammed 'Secret Service' style Chevy Surburban on 20" Volks... As a multimillion you must have a rounded diet... blondes, brunettes, redheads, twins... T.
  19. Some people are always full of bullshite. It costs almost 6-7 grand for compliance! T.
  20. I'm still fully in love with the $60,000 1990 R32 GT-R N1 with the T51R SPL, 2.8 HKS internals, alcon brakes, HKS 6-speed... etc. etc. etc. http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au/au/st...sp?StockID=1990 I know I'm not worthy to drive it... but who is? T.
  21. The way I'm doing things is to fully insure a shitty car (ie. $10,000 shopping trolley) to get 60% no claim. And then 3rd party insure the Skyline. T.
  22. Don't put a decal on. You're making it too easy for people. T.
  23. Does this help? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=28936 T.
  24. The GM Generation III 5.7 litre V8 is all alloy. It is a very modern engine for what it is but that's like saying you have a titanium bladed, graphite handled axe when the Japanese are using the "RB26" chainsaw. We have yet to see the new "35" GT-R as it is but I expect that the last of the R34 GT-R's will be major collectors items. I see the M-Spec and perhaps even some of the later V-Spec II's become very expensive as they signify the end of a 15 year "legend". T.
  25. I'm pretty sure UAS has some baffles knocked up by some unknown backyard shop locally. T.
