  1. The datalogit is a logger/usb interfacer. A cable comes out from your FC -> HC. This box sits in between to allow both the USB port and HC to work simulataneously. I've seen the PC software and it's as a good as any PC tuner/logger you're likely to come across. T.
  2. Can you tell us what he's not happy about? The tuning perhaps? T.
  3. I'd also add that more boost = more fuel consumption. I set mine damn low as there's no point flogging it going to work or on the rain. T.
  4. A mate of mine dropped it off with my car (all the electro junk is in the passenger seat - avc/, hc etc. etc.) They reckon they can get it work. I dunno. T.
  5. Maybe you all should carry two harmless devices like the above carby cleaner and a cigarette lighter??? I not actually sure how these two devices interact but I'm sure some of you guys can work something out :bahaha: T.
  6. Jim, You can see my FC + HC + Datalogit usb addon anytime next week. T.
  7. OMG... I'd hit it... They also have that champagne gold on the cams and rocker covers. T.
  8. AUburn Autobarn is about the only one I'd try. Lindsay (manager) knows imports - also a lot of the guys there either drive or know imports too. T.
  9. You can use coloured lamps with the VDO gauges. Blue, green, orange etc. T.
  10. VDO makes some good no nonsense gauges. However some of them are not suited to high performance applications. T.
  11. Put it this way... rich overseas students all drive nice cars. Try UNSW car parks. Fulla hot imports. T.
  12. The VDO EGT tops out at 900c - the Skyline starts at 900c! This gauge is no good. I suggest a 2nd hand Greddy etc. T.
  13. From memory the rb20/25 is 9.5:1 rb26 is 8.5:1 If the rb20 was 8.1:1 it would be a doughy ****. T.
  14. This has got to be fastest streetable GTS in NSW? I doubt there's much faster except for slicks and airshifted autoboxes. T.
  15. Someone at least take *ONE* seat off Philip. I got these seats in my car and they are tops IMO. They are the Jap spec. version and they're super comfortable and they hold but they don't squeeze. your balls. The Jap. spec. ones also do not use suede on the bolsters so they are very hard wearing unlike the OEM and Aust. ones. IMO for $650 each, realistically you only need one - **** your passenger - these are a bargain. A new single recaro is something like $1,200 each from Roman... and they're still not as good as the Jap. spec. version. T.
  16. They're nicknamed EBC "Brownstuff" for good reason... T.
  17. Hmmm... maybe for your life and Ben's. I trust something like Bob Jane Allrounders. Allround good. T.
  18. That's the standard sort of IC install like the Trust V-SPL kits. T.
  19. In the interests of further education, I present this pic: http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/r32_120d.jpg I must admit is it not too common as I've never seen one in the flesh so to speak. T.
  20. I used to work at Macquarie Uni. I wouldn't park my car there or at Mac Center. T.
  21. I'm in! + one other guy at work makes 2! T.
  22. You ask an interesting question there. You can either have it curve up over the radiator and square off over the cam covers or cross over underneath and have two pipes go back over. The "over" way makes general head maintenance even worse but it makes upg. to a front plenum easy. The "under" way makes a front plenum hard. T.
  23. This film sucked arse. Waste of a blank dvd. The cars were shit too. It looks like it was low budget? Or they had a budget but somehow made it look cheap and hokey? At least the first had something about it... T.
  24. I have lightweight rims, recaros, no abs or rear wiper. I'm going carbon bonnet as well. My goal is low 1,300kg. T.
  25. I don't think the GT-R will put up with little to no maintenance. Everyone knows these things require a lot of money thrown at them just to stay on the road. Whether this is good or bad? T.
