  1. did you seriously just reply to a post from almost 2 years ago...
  2. Stao/anyone who may know: I am intending on at the very least running this as my temp setup until I can get a hard intake setup made, will this flow 18psi through an ATR43G2 without causing restriction? 3" turbo inlet > 3" to 2.5" silicon adapter > standard R33 intake piping with 3" steel pipe mod to stop sucking closed > pod filter the 2.5" silicon after the turbo is my concern, but I've heard that it won't cause an airflow problem as long as the intake piping doesn't suck itself closed. Confirm/deny? Thanks
  3. Bumping this for a question: On the R33 GTS-T intake, is the stock piping 2.5" from the turbo to 3" at the AFM?? I'm sure it's mentioned somewhere in here, but any searches of this thread I can think of yield nothing.
  4. I'm just holding out that United bring it to their servo and keep it a consistent 85%, otherwise Canberra gets shafted.
  5. Probably more time and $$ than it's worth. Would end up being easier to mix your own fuel in bulk at home or something... Would anyone expect the cost of Ethanol to come down when this goes ahead? It will be more widely produced, so procuring E100 would be easier in theory....this would make mixing your own CONTROL fuel at home cheaper.
  6. Yeah, the variance as I mentioned in GT's thread is between 70% and 85%. This is FAR too much variance. We need the ability to change the map ourselves at any time, and we need to KNOW the percentage when we fill up. Hell, what if only half the servo's tank of E85 has been used when the truck arrives to fill it up with E70....then we will be filling up with ~E77.5, right? What if there was more or less of the previous fuel in there when we fill...we will never know the actual percentage coming out of the pump. The closest we'll get, is knowing what the tanks were filled with last. This will not work for us.
  7. lol at above post. Check out this thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Go...ils-t22458.html Don't read the whole thing, that would take forever. Just skip towards the end and have a bit of a read through. Assuming you're not silly and DID try a search, depending on how you went about it you may not have found this in your results, as it's in a different forum. I personally use Motul 8100 5w40 fully synthetic, though there are many options. Just make sure it's 100% synthetic, and 10w40 or 5w40 Never cheap out on engine oil. Ever.
  8. Spotted silver R33 s2 on hindmarsh from monaro through to canberra ave this morning.
  9. aaaaand I just lost interest. Even more variance than the US...GG sigh still either mix our own or run 98
  10. RB25DET "normal" Will be cheaper, and just as easy to get the power.
  11. Nah man definitely input bearing, only shuts up when clutch is completely depressed (gearbox not spinning) my current 33 has very minor input bearing noise, but the thrust bearing also chirps when idling in neutral. Staring at the clutch pedal hard causes this to shut up.
  12. obligatory over 9000 ($9001)
  13. in b4 thread lock
  14. Not sure Zane, I think he might be leaving it at 8 people...PM him
  15. haha nah, no limiter. But if you don't want lag, make a choice. Gutless RB20 on limiter, or a bit more grunt of an RB25 without the revability.
  16. When your operating system or hardware on your PC is no longer supported by applications, it's time to upgrade. In this case, buy a front cut R33 and be done with it! RB25 powered 32's are hawt.
  17. Zane's got a point I'm just keen to skid! sooooo keen.
  18. Good to see! I forgot to mention the possible variance in my comment, though hopefully E85 comes as 85% +/- 1% max. Seeing as my car is being fitted with new turbo, Nismo 740's (overkill for 280rwkw in prep for this wonderful elixir), and the ViPEC, I hope to be one of the first in Canberra to be running this from the pump!
  19. Probs just as much. Will be a bit more laggy on a 32, but would be nice for a drift car (which 32's were made for, amirite?) Mine's more than likely being let go to wal32r, unless he changes his mind. Remember Pat, THE BEST bang for buck upgrade a 32 GTS-T can get is an RB25 turbo. So at this price it's a steal.
  20. Did I perhaps see this in Civic out the front of Sammy's Friday night? Looked nice if it was yours.
  21. Leak between line coming off intake to stock solenoid, or line between stock solenoid and actuator?
  22. Sorry y'all, Nathan got in first with PM. If he changes his mind, I'll go through in merit order
