  1. For dollars spent, I believe Sway Bars to be the most beneficial suspension modification you can make to any car. I'm also running a set of BC's and they made a huge difference, but the Sway Bars are just the icing on the cake. I'd hang on to the strut brace if I was you. The V35 should be compatible with the 350Z bars Whiteline already make. If there is demand from the V series guys, I'll run a separate group buy, but so far there hasn't been an overwhelming response to the offer I've already made. Cheers, Dale.
  2. The Selbys name was bought by Fulcrum, along with some intellectual property. A bunch of the old Selby's staff now work for Whiteline; I believe. I also had some excellent work done by Todd Selby, of Signature Sway Bars. He made me 8 sets of beautiful custom NM35 Stagea Sway Bars. He mostly does low volume/ one off, custom stuff. Great guy, couldn't do enough to help. If you like I can put you in touch with him; but I'm making an enquiry for you, regarding your PM on monday. I'll let you know what's what.
  3. Mine does it ocasionally after heavy rain, or washing; I'm wondering whether it's related to moisture getting into the fuel flap actuator.
  4. Most mechanics shy away from stainless due to the galling and binding issues you get with unlubricated threads and stainless or high tensile nuts. They also have this odd idea that stainless goes brittle when used on exhausts(which is odd; cos they're happy to fit a stainless manifold or dump pipe); which is also a furphy. Obviously not an issue when using copper nuts...
  5. Same here
  6. Stock bars are; front, hollow;30mm. Rear, hollow; 18mm Whiteline Group Buy are Front, solid 32mm Blade adjustable. Rear, solid; 20mm Blade adjustable. Correct. I used the same dimensions as the original Sydneykid bars (as fitted to Andy's, and others) 30mm solid front, & 24mm solid rear for my first Group Buy through Signature. I have no reason to believe the AR-X has different OEM bars to any other NM35, and the part numbers back this up.
  7. It was actually me who wound the damping back to full soft. That was after I fitted the GB swaybars, as I'd been using the firmer damping to make the car more direct on turn in. After the bars it became like an apex seeking missile, so I was able to back it off and still have brilliant turn in, AND excellent ride. They have an extremely compliant ride. Iain runs his much firmer than I do, but I don't feel it's necessary.
  8. You're right; BC's are the biz. Sorry Iain It'll look solid with a bit of low. Don't worry about the front bar; thats why touch up paint was invented...
  9. Lol, you might've misunderstood me. I meant, if there is enough interest from the V35 guys; I'll run a separate Group Buy for you guys. It'll be open for about 4 weeks to allow everyone to get on board, then roughly 2 weeks 'till delivery. Hopefully there will be enough demand; as the savings are quite surprising. Cheers, Dale.
  10. 2 weeks is about right for Nissan parts out of Japan. Every now & then, you'll get lucky like I did; and your parts only take 6 days... Oh, and +1 for Shannons
  11. Re; horn. Something silly like a blown fuse?
  12. And airbags are renowned for their uncompromised handling characteristics . Better pack a sickbag.
  13. Nice! I'm running KU31's on mine, I reckon the go very well. Get some pics up. Vested interest?
  14. Thanks for the kind words mate! Discount? You mean $220 off retail isn't enough?
  15. Hmmm, copy/paste anyone? I think they're just lazy, and if someone believes their BS so much the better for them... Let the buyer beware...
  16. Thanks mate! 15th is the final day so you're all good. Cheers, Dale.
  17. If you and others in the V35 section are interested; I am able to get Whiteline products at excellent prices. Check out my Group Buy Thread; http://www.skylinesa...-bar-group-buy/ for an idea of the kind of prices I can get. I doubt you will be able to match them. Obviously; your cars use the 350Z bars, but the prices will be similar. I am also manufacturing Heavy duty Rear Sway Bar upper link rod mounts for the Stageas; these will also fit V35's It would require a minimum of 5 fully paid orders to get off the ground. If anyone is interested; send me a PM, or reply directly to this post. If the demand is there; I'll run a Group Buy for you guys. If you are Sydney based; I could also provide fitting for a fee, or refer you a suitable workshop. Cheers, Dale.
  18. ^^^+1 for typo. Also I can't see it being an Axis, plenty of holes to weld up once they took the flares off; no way those guards have been welded... Just an RX with a kit?
  19. Just checked mine; I have both the recall stickers. If R186 is the cam angle sensors, what is the silver one for?
  20. Yep, it all sits forward of the back edge of the bar reo; so no clearance issues. No worries.
  21. Here are some pics of the Heavy Duty mounts for the Sway Bars; 5mm extruded 316 Stainless Steel; won't rust, bend or fracture. Or you could just use these...
  22. Just went out & pulled my grille out; the things I do... Doesn't need a top plate as the grille bar is about 5mm away. and peeking through the Grille; Hope that explains it.
  23. Yeah ok Aaron; I just think a crack in the floor is an absolute worst case scenario. I'd be looking elsewhere first. If a stone flicked up; cracks the floor of any car I own; I won't own it for long...
  24. What kind of playing...
