  1. This, I like! How much clearance around the new turbo? At least v-bands make mounting a little easier. Your welding has really come along mate; kudos.
  2. The short answer; yes. Sway bars are the best value single modification you can make to the handling of your car. Doesn't matter whether you plan to lower or leave at stock height, sway bars will make a huge difference. As a stand alone mod; or in concert with lowered springs & shocks, you will have a more grippy secure feeling car in corners, and thats without touching on higher corner speed.
  3. They should look good with your 'tache Suit the stags well.
  4. It would certainly be a good "First Step" though, and then E-Manage down the track if that's not enough. For some, it might be the "little extra" they're after.
  5. Yes, it's on my extremely long list of thing to do... Re; boost control. Is that because you can build full boost lower in the rev range?
  6. I know what you mean Andy, but you can't always dial it up at will, to dispose of pesky Commo's. I'd like minimal delay, so you can punch away from a standing start, no stall up.
  7. Too bloody right! Nobody's telling me what I can't not do... not? I don't NEED to go more than 171km/h, but I'd be nice to know I CAN; if I want to. And everyone does ONE top speed run; right? Don't think I'm going to beat my last TS anyway...
  8. I'm assuming you mean Hub Centering Rings? To take up the gap between the hub boss and the centre hole in the rim? To measure the centre hole in the rim you'll need to take the rim off the car; you could always measure the hub boss (the stub poking out through your disc) while the wheel is off? On most Nissans the hub boss is 66mm dia. Make sure you buy aluminium ones, as the plastic centering rings crack & fall apart after you remove the wheel a couple of times.
  9. With a bit moar low, those would be tucked up very nicely
  10. If you can get this off the ground, I'd definitely be interested. Maybe the owners of the spare ECU's would be interested in doing a rolling loan, with a rental fee thrown in, so no-one has to be without a car during the wait? Rather than everyone buying an ECU then selling it, abit of money on the side to cover your inconvenience? Given the number of interested parties, you'd probably make more out of renting it out than selling it. Plus a warm fuzzy feeling inside from helping the Stagea community? Just a thought.
  11. Good stuff guys, keep it coming.
  12. Nice work so far, hope this comes off!
  13. Might be time for a pic in the gallery? Did you use "Strut Re-Gas" or similar? Cost?
  14. Aww, hell yeah Terry! And maybe a certain VQdet? (I've got Xenons too...) Lol, haven't taken the wagon out there since I did my Sway Bars; I hear a roadtrip calling... Midweek is the best time for most of thses roads, shiftwork has some advantages; only takes a couple of nervous Nellies to turn a great road into a chore...
  15. Try this. Quoted me roughly $150 to ship to my address. http://www.conceptzp...158.165.206.187
  16. R32 GTR non vspec - 296x32 will be the cheapest, anthing with "Brembo" written on it for a Skyline seems to demand telephone number pricetags; even if they've been thrashed to death. Another option you have is R32 GTST calipers,324x30mm 350Z brembo discs and an offset bracket from conceptz perfomance or Ebay. The advantage with the three you've quoted is the bolt on nature of them; only some simple bushes for R32 non- Brembo.
  17. Guys, I'm currently doing a Whiteline group buy for M35 Stagea sway bars, and a few people have expressed interest in Sway Bars in this section. I'd need a minimum of 5 orders, and a maximum of 10 orders to justify it. On the Stagea; we had had prices going from; Front 32mm adjustable, RRP; $320 GB; $235!. Rear 20mm adjustable; RRP; $285 GB; $210! A huge saving! The V35 bars are basically the same prices, so I should be able to offer the same kind of prices! Check the link in my sig for details on my current Group Buy (it is now closed though) and let me know what you think. Cheers, Dale
  18. PM sent. Regarding the bar breakages, I would attribute this to the fact that most of the US made upgraded bars that I've seen appear to have the lateral locks (basically a clamp next to the "D"bush to stop the bars from sliding sideways) WELDED to the bar, also they seem to just use a flimsy flat washer. This will surely become a stress riser and lead to the eventual cracking/fracture of the bar. The Whiteline bars use a Billet alloy clamp around the bar, which is a much more elegant, albeit more expensive way of doing things. Note; the lateral locks are included when you purchase from Whiteline. Hope this helps.
  19. I'm assuming the links refer to damaged or weak parts, it was more of a general direction to that type of part, rather than a endorsement. Good point nonetheless.
  20. Jenolan Caves road is a fun one; open sweepers nice scenery, even a pub for refreshments. And some caves at the end...
  21. If it's visible; declare it.
  22. I can get them, are you Sydney based? I'm going to gauge interest again shortly in the V Series forum for a Group Buy. If I can get more than 5 interested parties the prices are VERY good. Also, Plenum spacers, filters etc, are well within the scope of a patient backyarder with some decent hand tools. Cheers, Dale.
  23. The forum has an excellent search function, I can only suggest that you give it a go.
