  1. Yep, good ol' limestone powder! Toothpastes (not the gel styles) are full of super finely ground (like talc) limestone powder. Weird stuff, will block a pipe like cement, but flows like water if you put it on the ground; you can't pick it up with a shovel, it just runs off. Doesn't wet; water just beads up and rolls off it. It's used as a neutral filler in all sorts of things. Biscuits, Toothpaste, it's in everything...
  2. Have they mounted one side of the frame to the tow hook?
  3. Great stuff! Anyone else?
  4. What are the specs on this oil? i.e. cost, grade (full or semi synth) availability?
  5. Ball links are not a compulsory upgrade, but given the age of your vehicle, the OEM links will have some wear and the Whiteline links are much larger (the ball joint is more than twice the size) and stronger than OEM. Pics for comparison; I noticed a difference in the rear links even on Standard Sway Bars (the Stagea uses the same rear links). Removed the slack and float on initial turn in from the Std suspension (due to the slack & looseness present in the tiny ball joints of my OEM links), and just got better with uprated bars. At this price it's a great opportunity, but entirely up to the individual. Hope this helps, Dale.
  6. Absolutely no issues. Takes about 10 min to clean using a Filtercharger kit, wait for it to dry, re oil, done.
  7. Cut & pasted from the sales guidelines. 2. No price debates - put simply if you do not agree with the price being asked, do not comment on the thread. If you believe the seller is asking too much then either pm the thread starter or dont buy the items advertised - simple. There is to be no "My cousin can get it for much less" or "Your asking too much" comments
  8. Bah, K&N filters are fine . Don't over oil them (follow the instructions) and you'll be fine. Been using a K&N without issue for more than a year in my NM35 Stagea now, VQ engine; AFM in exactly the same position. They flow stacks more air than a STD filter, and filter more effectively if oiled correctly.

  11. I would definitely be interested in this This is exactly what people have been asking for since these first appeared. I'm sure there would be enough demand to justify the investment. As others have said; as cheap as possible; but I could probabaly run to a max of $1000 odd for a full remap; I'd imagine this would be something like a Nistune style arrangement? If so, surely there'd be no real need for an E-Manage, given the tuner would have full control?
  12. Just waiting on some prices; hopefully I'll be able to put the Group Buy up tonight. Cheers, Dale.
  13. I seem to remember Danny being a little underwhelmed with his setup until it was properly bedded in; similar to you, he was saying they were soggy to begin, but as they bedded in they were heaps better.
  14. Spotted both of them on the highway at Warrimoo Saturday morning.
  15. Good luck with the search mate, hope you have a win.
  16. Fantastic pic Chris; gallery winner. It IS that clean in real life.
  17. With regard to what Iain is saying, I'm not sure "easier" is the word, because it happens at much higher speeds and loadings. I think because it is so much more consistent, you can invoke certain handling traits, like oversteer, much more safely; in that you know how the car will behave every time.
  18. Ahh, so it's the baby blue metallic! The rest of it is spot on.
  19. +1 0n the Pearl White; just a very nice finish.
  20. Gotta be happy with a free DIY fix!
  21. Don't worry mate, I'm getting prices tomorrow, then the GB will be up. Tuesday at the latest. Cheers, Dale.
  22. Same 2.5 litre V6 as the 626, beautiful engine, but when they go wrong; and they do... BIIIG dollars.
  23. Been running BC BR's in my Stagea for 1 1/2 years absolutely no issues, over 30 000km now. Perfect. You won't go wrong.
  24. Guys, I have a TENTATIVE "Arrival in the Country" date of 13th -16th for our bars. This means they won't be getting to me until around the 20th. I MAY also have an additional 2 sets of bars available; if you missed out and wish to jump in, DO NOT DEPOSIT FUNDS YET, PM ME FIRST! I will endeavour to accommodate you. Absolutely no promises at this stage, just keeping you in the loop. Once again, thanks for your support; your patience will be rewarded. Any issues; please contact me,and I'll do my best to explain. Cheers, Dale
  25. Yes, it forces all air coming through the grille to go through the radiator, rather than some going over the top of the radiator support; bypassing the radiator completely. Air will always take the path of least resistance I've often wondered if it would be beneficial to duct the intake snorkel down through the cooling plate to pick up some of that cool air too.
