  1. I'm in for 1 x ECR33 (Series 1 RB25DET)
  2. I only see Camrydores so no danger of that - unless you mean the SS record...
  3. Probably testing for Compak Attack
  4. I was there on both Friday and Saturday and had a ball - very tired today though. Paul, I checked my phone a few times yesterday and missed calls from ya - will speak later today mate. Joe in the Camrydore went 7.07 @ 193!!!
  5. Awesome day - being this close to fuellers on the line is incredible! [email protected]
  6. I've been exposed to it and its development in various ways for a couple of years. I don't work for them and they're interstate! My employer has advertising at their premises and vice versa. It's just a cool concept. Skip the drag racing component for a sec and think of the driver training aspect. Controlled environment driver education in real world situations. Great idea with heaps of promise. I support any idea that increases driver training and road safety and gets the fast cars racing where they should be. Brake cooling etc..... dunno. I'd send em an email. Every question I've ever asked has been answered promptly and sensibly. Adrian
  7. Most busses are diesel - explain what diesel engine BOV you've heard?!?!
  8. Haven't had my car on it mate...would love to though. From what I've seen, the results are incredibly accurate compared to others' real-world drag times. I need to find the photos of the Linux arrays running the thing. The number crunching is in-farking-sane! Adrian
  9. yawn......
  10. Also: "With a racing membership, each vehicle is set up in Drag Tag’s workshop where it is weighed, and the frontal area and drag coefficient from the car's manufacturer entered into a computer. Using this information, we are able to assign a carefully-calculated air resistance equation."
  11. How does it work with AWD? Funny ,they look like DD AWD dynos to me
  12. There are three parts to the Drag Tag system. Drag Tag - Circuit Tag and the Driver Proving Centre It is AWESOME and you have to see it to appreciate it. Cool on so many levels. Adrian
  13. 'Ground contol to major Brad.......'
  14. I thought 25's were 240deg, 7.80mm lift???
  15. $1188 - Brand new in boxes.
  16. Where's my freebies, Beatch!!!! You should get a good turn-out champ - Sydneysiders love free stuff and $22 boost controllers! Good luck!
  17. Totally normal. Relax.
  18. wwooooohoooooo!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Mik, you drove around in RWD all that time? Why would you ever wanna go back!?!?
  20. Have run 11's on Nittos 245/50/16 & 275/40/17's, BFG Comp T/A's 255/50/16's and MT ET Street Radials 255/50/16's. Adrian
  21. Definately makes more sense that way mate But until I see the car I have no reason to doubt the result. Dynos and cars are different.
  22. My car is 3240lb (1472.73kg) race weight and is not stripped out one little bit as more than a few people will attest to. It is a street car and gets driven over an hour to WSID on the tyres it races on, raced, then driven over an hour home. As a matter of fact, 119mph, 265kW and 3240lb go together quite well in the drag racing maths world. Look up "Moroso HP Calculator" or "Moroso Slide Rule" for more info. You CAN just attach a boost controller to a 33 or 34 and set it to 15psi. You can mate, simple. Adrian
  23. But Brett, someone who OBVIOUSLY has years of drag racing and performance tuning experience told me the following: "248rwkw with factory ecu (that won't let you boost to 1.1bar)" and "Also 260rwkw in an r33 will not get you even close to high 11's even with slicks mate.... You'd be looking mid 12s if your a good driver on street tyres and maybe low 12s on slicks at best." Are you saying this guy is full of shit? Adrian
