  1. That sucks a pretty hefty ass, dude. I've had like, 3 emails and an sms about this and i'm in the gong. Lets hope the fu(ktards that have it do something dumb like try to pick up outside a cop shop! best of luck dude...
  2. 1.1-1.2 sounds right... well, if not right then how about holden's term for oil use, "within acceptable limits"... your gauge is showing 20-21psi or the boost controller? all the settings could produce the same levels if the gain etc was set the same?!?!? maybe the thing's reset itself??? bit more detail would help...
  3. how old?
  4. Not in the ECU as mine does it with the PFC... just a relay and imho, an anti car jacking device... Adrian
  5. Sams Performance is getting a seriously good name with regards to Gen III's and LS1 Edit. A mate's VX II R8 was dynoed there a few weeks ago and made considerable gains and was very impressed with the knowledge on hand. Definitely a V8 place though. Thought you'd have to bring your own tuner... Adrian
  6. Have been following this all in one hit this morning at work... A couple of things. 1/ Nitrous Oxide adds power by introducing lots more oxygen to combust in the combustion chamber (funny that). A pleasant side effect of using it is that it can cool the intake charge as well (** This is NOT anything like the main reason why most people use it**) 2/ It is not "fake h.p." OR "cheating" full farken stop. It is a form of forced induction. Get it? No? Okay then.... What does a turbo charger do? What does a Supercharger do? Get it now?!?!? If not, simply re-read point one. 3/ WOT is the only time that Nitrous Oxide should be employed in the application being discussed for a whole host of reasons including what Andrew said. 4/ When all you little kiddies grow up, buy cars, modify them and then grow a brain allowing more than one simultaneous idea to occupy it, let us all know. Until then, please contribute, ask questions and the like but refrain from adding your two cents when what you're saying isn't worth nearly that much. Remember, it is better to appear ignorant and say nothing than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. **** DISCLAIMER **** I base all of my knowledge on this subject from what I have gleaned from association with Robbie Madden from my home town of Wollongong. He's been the Nitrous-guy longer than most of us have been alive. Adrian
  7. sorry, but the boxes these phones come in can be opened EASILY. they are not sealed UNLESS at a RETAIL level. i.e. when shipped from nokia korea where they're made to when the customer buys them, they are easily openable and accessable. Just so everyone knows. Although with all of the 55 dollar plans with optus last month happening, there will be a FLOOD of 7250's out there, listed as new in box. I dont see any particular reason why this one should be anydifferent. Adrian
  8. I'm using 5w40... it's still all good although i haven't driven in a week
  9. UAS are pretty good IMHO. John and co. have offered sound advice to me that is based on years of experience. Walking into the new site is like walking into Jap-part-wonderland! Could spend 20k/hour easily! And John isn't that bad of a guy. Nick once told me, "When you first meet him, give him a bitch slap so he knows who's boss from day one!" Didn't quite do that but he was very generous letting me use his spanners to fit the new BOV that I didn't even buy from him Thumbs up to UAS. Remember to say you're from SAU!
  10. What an absolute crock of sh1t, dude. Wanna know how many 800hp+++ cars out there use Power FC's?!??! Ridiculous and obviously ignorant statement for the tuner to have made.
  11. Palmassi fuel reg? umm.... mechanic typed this? i'm confused?
  12. Not exactly neons, but cold cathode light...kinda the same... ummm...in....errr... some ricey wanker's car.... ROFL....
  13. quite right imho... does anyone remember the ill-fated domestic capri? new ugly as shit models not classic 70's weapons! local models were leaky, rusty lemons! export models were the ducks guts and had none of the problems of the australian delivered cars.... Holden's selling statesmans all over the world as Pontiacs. Middle east is slowly gonna become full of them/already is). Bet they're better than the aussie ones. Adrian
  14. Sounds unreal. barring work, i'm there... a certain member of the constabulary tends to dissagree, dude...
  15. pure genius! rofl... i.e. last 6 changes! der... )
  16. I have used BP Visco 5000 for the last 30000kays and its the gear. i get it for nothing so i was even more dubious than it just beign cheap. it is definitely the shiznit
  17. Read! JMS and Justjap have them almost all the time... they are NOT hard to find and they are NOT expensive... Using newer types of gas?!?!?! 134A is the current type isn't it? Was last i looked... thats what they use anyway! plus, make sure you get new seals and shit when it is re-done. easy
  18. small block aren't they?!?! anyway, a couple of things... Holdens are deinitely not my cup of tea and the rate at which you hear about them turning lemon and leaking oil is a bit alarming (yes i know there's worse - no i don't care). What is larming though, is the fact that SOME dealers if not most of them (obviously trying it on) have been saying "the oil leak is within manufactureres tolerances". Better not lock that one in, Eddie. Atrocious customer service and a shocking attitude all round. Okay then. Skylines, imports etc are absolutely my cup of tea. But there are dickhead drivers there too. I happen to be one on some occasions As my solicitor said to me the day I met him. "Mate, you'll spend you whole life trying to figure out d1ckheads so it's best to just ignore them!!" Adrian. Oh and that 121/commo pic is the BEST! Double Oh! Commodores suck
  19. Here's a tip dude... DONT LAUNCH IN 2ND!!!
  20. buh?!?! half dead?!??! consplain it to me brendan?!?!?
  21. how come you need std injectors mate? i can understand the reg cos you can see it but?!?!?! i'm confused.....
  22. Just a note re: Bilstein availability: They are repairable so no worries "replacing" them if you're worried about breaking one.
  23. Yep that's my car on the vid (HEAD SWELL!!) Handling is awesome, make sure you get good tyres too as suggested here. Makes awesome difference too. FM901's and the like make excellent choices for what you wanna do with your car. Adrian
