G'day! With a trackday looming FAST (this coming Monday the 13th),I really need some sticky rubber. I'm really not up for a brand new set (somewhere between $1K and $2K for reasonable stuff..),so was wondering if anyone had some slightly/mildly used tyres that they would depart with for reasonable $$$'s? I'd need either 245/45/17 or 235/45/17's in something STICKY and road legal,as it's about to be double points and all that associated glaring attention it brings,especially aroung the Police State that is Goulburn. Obviously,I'll need 'em before Friday so I can get 'em fitted and balanced before promtly tearing 'em to shreds on Monday,hence the call-out for help! Normally I'd post this in the "wanted to buy" section,but as time is running out,and the tyres must be had locally...Anyone? Pleeeeaaase?!?

Next is a sad bit of news for me + Mrs. Bling: we wont be doing Trivia Night much,if at all,for the rest of 2005. Now,for most of you,this wont be any loss to not see me ( :jk: ),though you'll likely miss Erica a lot more, . Unfortunately,I've not been the healthiest I can be,and attempting to eat dinner,or just generally be around what is usually a very smoky environment is not going me wonders... (read: ... :uhh: ... :throwup: ). So,until 2005(when the no-smoking laws come into effect) OR until my health takes a dramatic turn for the better,we'll have to sit out the Tuesday night festivities... :thumbdwn: . As Trivia Night has mostly turned into :alcoholic :throwup: night,I'm sure nothing will change by the time we're back on the playing field! So,sorry gang,but health has to come first... J.

Hi all I've got a white faced set of Nismo guages in the dash of my car (R32 GTR),and the tacho looks like it's dead. I've had the most reliable instrumentation place locally (Canberra) diagnose it as no good,and my workshop double checked all things in the car that aid in it's function:they're all good,so it is,apparently,dead. I've looked at the complete unit,and all it looks like to me is a pretty front,with a heap of circuit board on the back-stuffed if I've got any idea. Can a new tacho (genuine or otherwise) be fitted/wired in ? I really don't want to change the whole unit,as it's got genuine km's on the speedo that'd be hard to replicate...plus being big bucks,I'd imagine. Any ideas? Has anyone had this happen to them? And how'd ya fix it? Reliable,fast places of repair? HELP!

Spotted a powerful,white R32 GTR sporting shiny new R34 GTR rims,looking schmick! Reminded me of someones 'Zilla that had white 3 spoke rims on it...LOL! Also spotted a silver R33 4 door having a pathetic attempt at lighting it up out of the roundabout in front of my work in Fyshwick...sounded more like clutch slip than tyres breaking traction. Dark haired young fella driving:anyone on here? Not that he'll put his hand up now I've made disparaging remarks on his driving abilities...Now that he's been sprung,I'd suggest getting his butt and his car to a trackday to practice getting the tail out!

Got your attention,didn't I? No,this isn't a tale of something underhanded,more a quick oppertunity for SAU ACT'ers. Before I hit up my faithful eBay to sell it,I've got a 6 foot complete fish tank for sale. New base,new custom sump(no oil baffles in this one,LOL!),custom hood/lighting system,can do both marine or fresh water... I've never really known what we're all "into" outside of Nissan's finest,so the offer goes out to all of you first. I'll leave it for about two weeks;if there's no takers-eBay it will be! I'm saying $700 flat;to give you an idea,the sump alone is $600 worth...I know most of you would rather spend their hard earned on the car,but I thought you all might like to know! Cheers,Jayce
